Frossa shifted the large, empty burlap sack that lay over her thin shoulders. As she trudged through the plains, the young troll couldn't help but crack a sharp grin from ear to ear. This was her favourite part of 'grocery shopping'; wandering through the plains until she found some lowblood's farm and aggressively claimed their crops as her own. It usually seemed to work, at least once it became violent anyways. Not many lowbloods were willing to strike a highblood such as herself, let alone full out fight one. There had been a few times that a lowblood had surprised her with a massive, snarling lusus and she had high tailed it out of there as fast as possible, but Frossa wasn't about to go bringing that up...

Swinging her hips and kicking her toes in a childish dance as she walked, the indigo tinged troll stopped in her tracks as her nose twitched at some sort of delicious smell. Dark eyes darted across the vast fields, trying to locate the intoxicating sweet scent of fresh produce. Especially fruit! Oh, how Frossa loved biting into a big, sweet, juicy piece of fruit. It almost compared to troll meat! She beelined for the outline of the nearest hive, figuring that it was most likely the source of the smell. Nothing else seemed to be around anyways, at the very least perhaps some troll could point her in the right direction.

As Frossa drew closer to the hive, she could make out some sort of stand out front. Was this troll selling something? The produce, perhaps? With confident, large steps the young troll bounded up to the unattended stall. Frossa could honestly say she had never seen a troll out on the fields selling their produce, although it seemed like a no brainer to the highblood. Buying food was certainly the easiest way to obtain it; perhaps that way there would even be an opportunity for her to come back for more! This system all seemed very logical and simple to Frossa- sometimes being a terror was simply too much effort. Plus, it burned bridges just a little bit.

Regardless, despite all the delicious smells nearby Frossa realized as she stepped up to the humble hive that the stand was empty and unattended. She puffed her cheeks in irritation, but remained still. "Hello?" she called out into the Hive, a hands cupping her lips in a sort of crude megaphone. "Anyone hoooome~?"

Produce – be they vegetables, fruit, or even flowers – were delicate things to deal with. One had to not only treat them with care, but to be careful with them. Plants were living things, after all: living, breathing, and eating. Their fragility was the reason that Mutuna was so careful with them. One false move, one clumsy step, and the produce at hand could be bruised, broken, or wilted. None of that would do. It wouldn’t do at all. She put way too much time, effort, and attention into her garden to let things like that happened. Very few trolls would wake up early to water them in the morning or stay up late to give them a second drink in the evening. Not many would de-weed the gardens by hand, all by themselves, and make sure everything was properly fertilized with hoofbeast dung. And when it was pouring down rain – you could imagine how few would run outside and cover up the plants, so they wouldn’t get overwatered during the night. Oh, yes – Mutuna took pride and joy in her plants, and gardening was serious business.

If Frossa were hoping that the owner of the hive would hear her, then she would be out of luck. At the moment she yelled, the orangeblood could be found inside her hive, carefully organizing the various produce she had in the special room she had built for them. Outwardly, the girl’s hive didn’t look like much. Dome-shaped and minimalistic, there wasn’t much to look at in terms of decoration, aside from maybe the gardens that grew all around her property. On the inside, however, there was a lot more to see, and Mutuna’s produce room, in particular, was her obvious favorite.

The room itself was temperature controlled aside from the rest of the hive. This allowed the room to stay at the optimal temperature for the various fruits, veggies, flowers and herbs that she kept in there. The wide variety of produce on display was staggering, but any troll would clearly be impressed upon stepping inside, if just for the organization alone. Initially, everything was in order according to season. The organization then went even one step further then that. With each season, the produce were then further categorized in various groups: vegetables, fruit, herbs, flowers, and fungi, respectively. This would allow for Mutuna to keep track of everything that she had. As another means of keeping track, a clipboard hung on the wall next to the door upon entering the room. This clipboard contained a catalogue of each type of produce in the room, how many there were, when the harvest and planting dates were – everything. You name it, and it was there.

A large pumpkin in hand, it was only after she stepped out of the produce room and back out of her hive that she was met with a stranger on her doorstep. Not suspecting to have any visitors, Mutuna couldn’t help but let out a soft gasp of an "Oh!" It was a pretty blueblood, and by the looks of things, she seemed a bit irritated on having to wait. This was evident from the puffiness of the other girl’s cheeks. As she set the large fruit down on the table, she couldn’t help but flash the highblood an apologetic look. "I’m so sorry to keep you waiting," she explained, motioning to the inside of her hive with a hand. "I was in the back getting some produce to put on display, but anyway…" As she gave her poor excuse for leaving her stand unattended, she found her voice trailing off. Highbloods normally didn’t care about excuses. It didn’t matter to them. An excuse was just that, an excuse. She’d have to be careful. The last thing she needed was an angry blueblood on her hands.

"So – how may I help you? Is there anything in particular you are looking for?"

Frossa tapped her heel in the dirt below her, arms crossed in annoyance. Dirt puffed up in the air around her purple boots every time they hit the ground, tiny sediment swirling around in the disturbance. Frossa looked around the humble hive, and the quaint fields surrounding it. The plains had their own simple charm, she supposed; if she were of a lower blood caste perhaps she would have made it her home. However, Frossa's luxurious tastes demanded a little bit more attention than that. Shifting her weight to her other hip, the highblood gazed up into the clear, early night sky. She rarely got such a view of the stars, the flat plains certainly made the sky seem as limitless and open as it really was. Frossa remained uncharacteristically still, eyes darting around the night sky as she gazed upwards. She almost didn't notice Mutuna slip out of her hive.

Turning to face the other troll, a sickly sweet smile spread on the highblood's face. An orangeblood, hmm? Easy enough to push around. The lower, the better. Frossa remained silent as the girl rambled on, sizing the other female up. She seemed meek enough to Frossa; easy pickings. The warmest of the warm bloods rarely picked a fight or put up much of a struggle, if any.

"I want something delicious!" Frossa proclaimed, hands slipping to her hips in a pose of over confidence. Little did Mutuna know that Frossa had about as much forethought as a goldfish. "Something there's lots of," she added aloud, tapping her chin. Whether or not she meant something large, or a large quantity was unclear. "The sweeter the better." Was her only other requirement. Really, anything would work as long as it was edible. Despite how she made it seem, Frossa wasn't even remotely a picky eater and would just shove anything in her mouth. "Do you have anything like that?" Frossa asked earnestly, teeth gnashing together in excitement.
