(sorry i described a little to much.)
I looked around once i was out of the forest even thoe the peace keepers here pretend not to notice one might finally give way and punish me.I am not that afraid for myself as for my cat or father having to deal with me getting hurt.I look around again then sat on a near by stump that the tree fell during last years ice storm.I took out my nice little map of District twelve which by the way is kind of ileagal here theres no rules about haveing a map of the town its just last year when i sighned my name for the reaping in the justice building i stole the map i dont think they care about loosing the map but stealing in district twelve is ieleagal and forbidden. But luckily for me i didt get cought when i got home i took berry juice and put it on the spot with the picture of the capitol standing for capitols items then to make it look less suspicious i made a border with the berry juice.
It was a waste of time we didt need a map my father said and worst of all a waste of berrys.What i said is they were the poisinous kind no use to us.Which was true they were poisinous and but he was correct the map was useless untill now. So here i am looking at the map to see were the older kid zero lived ive seen her in the halls a few times but since she was about 17 or 18 we will probrably never have a class together.I found were she lived it was just 10 houses east of mine then one row back. This is going to be good i can go to her and get back to my house before dusk.I took out a piece of paper and a pencil that i got from school when the teacher pitty me because i didt have a pencil nor papers.But i mean the only reason that happend was because for some reason instead of being in a class with people like me well close i got stuck with the towns people who have ofcourse alot more money.
I started to Right down dear zero it was nice meating you in the woods someone who i can atleast a little bit relate to with hunting in all i know i am a little young to supposingly hang out with and hunt but no one in my age bracket hunts they are all whimps i was wondering after school to morrow do you wanna meet in that area again and perhaps hunt i could use someone to help me pinpoint were the animals are and perhaps some company from the tree girl ELIZIBETH.
I got up and gave a quick jog to were my house was then looked at the map and came to the zero girls house i knocked once then twice and knew she wast home yet so i took the note and wedged it in her door so when it opens it falls on her foot then i was walking back to my home.

Walking back home Zero sighed thinking to herself how this day had turned out. "Hmmm... To think that I only went to the forest for just herbs... Interesting how I ended up meeting other people as well....So bored... What to do now?" Pulling out her keys from her jacket pocket, she opened the door, a little note falling in the process. "Huh? What's this?" Zero thought picking up the note and reading it. "Well now isn't this quaint... Hunting, I'm okay with... I guess... But moving onto more important matters, how did this kid find out where I live?!" Thinking as she walked inside and shut the door.
"...This could be troublesome...What to do know? As she walked through the halls she stopped by the shop. Organizing the herbs out of her bag and into jars. "...Hmm, might as well..." Smirking to herself as she pulled out a chair and a book, sat down and began to read.

Finishing the book she closed it and left it on the desk. Walking up the stairs and into her room. "...One more year, then I'm done... She quietly thought to herself, lying in bed unable to sleep. "...Sometimes I just wish that I was the one that got called up three years ago... Whatever..."
Waking up in the morning Zero got out of bed and went directly for her closet. Grabbing plain black clothes out and headed for the bathroom."I hate mornings... She grumbled. After finishing her shower she headed downstairs to the kitchen, grabbing a bagel and her bag as she left.

Zero arrived back home still debating with herself. "Idiot, why did you have to trust him so much?" She continued to scold herself. Grabbing the key out of her pocket she unlocked the door and opened it. "Hello. Anyone home?" She asked. Waiting a few more minutes she received an answer, coming from the Apothecary shop. "Yes Zero, I'm in the shop." Her mother said. "Okay." Zero sighed, now turning her attention to Thomas. "Well, my mom's home, if you want to talk to her." Zero finally said.

"Allright thanks." Thomas said. He smiled to her then walked into the shop. Thomas had never been in the shop before because he never left his unless he was going to school which he never really did or unless he was going into the forest. Thomas had been surprized at how much stuff was there. He spoted Zeros mother and walked over to her. He extened his hand. "Hi, I'm Thomas. Um... I'm a friend of Zero's. We, uh... met at school and i was wondering if maybe I could get job here at the shop." thomas said nerevously. You know, both my parents died and I'm not old enough to work. So living by yourself with no way of getting food, it gets rough."

Zero followed Thomas in, after he introduced himself and explained his situation there was a small pause in silence for her answer. "Oh, you poor thing! Yes, you can work here." Zero's mother replied, obviously wanting to help his situation in any way. "Although it's the first time I've ever seen Zero bring any friends over, I almost thought that she didn't have any. I suspect that she suggested the idea, correct?"
Zero sighed, "One, yes, I did suggest the idea. And two, I do have friends, I just told Thomas to ask you himself and explain his situation." She listed, "...Grrr...yes go ahead, tell the boy that I have no friends. It's no big deal..." She thought to herself slightly irritated and embarrassed of the situation. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to restock the shelves." Zero said trying to keep her calm, as she sorted out the herbs in her bag to the shelves.

Thomas was shocked that Zero's mother let him work there that fast. "Thank you." He said to Zero's mother. He turned and walked with Zero to the shelves. He noticed her mom walk out of the room. He looked at Zero and saw she was upset but was trying not to show it. "Listen, about that. I'm sorry. If I'd have know she would have said something to make you upset I never would have came. Just don't be mad. 'Cause truth be told, I kinda like you."

"It's fine, I mean-" She said as she was cut short by what Thomas had just said. "...What do you mean by that?" She asked surprised, and suspicious at the same time. "I really shouldn't have allowed myself to trust him this much... Now he's working here, and what does he mean that he 'likes' me?" She thought to herself. Turning away from the shelves facing him, and crossing her arms, she said, "Trust me when I say this, I'm not mad at you...I'm just mad at myself." She finally said shaking her head. "Remember that point where you said that you'd deal with the consequences when they get to that point?" She thought. "Well then, you're there...How will you deal with it?"

"I mean, I kinda like you. You're cool, and interesting, and I like that. Plus you're kinda cute." Thomas said as he started stocking the shelves. "Anyways, why would you be mad at yourself? You should be proud of yourself. You pretty much saved my life with helping me get this job. So for that, I thank you." Thomas said. 'Damn it! What are you doing you fool? Why would you say that right now? You just met her yesterday! now she's going to think you're the biggest creep ever!' He thought to himself. "If i tell you something?"

"... Disregard what I said about being mad at myself, I was just thinking aloud." She said. "And pride is something that I will not allow myself to feel...Stupid yes, but pride...never... If I do feel it then I would be able to trust others, which is something that I won't and can't be able to do... She thought to herself. "Alright. Study up on the different herbs that you'll be working with. Make sure you know which plant is which." Zero said changing the subject. "You don't want to treat someone with the wrong herb."

Thomas Grabbed the book Zero gave him earlier. He chuckled to himself as he noticed she said nothing about him liking her. He shook his head. "I didn't realize I'd be doing this kind of stuff right away. I thought I might just be restocking shelves and such." Thomas opened the book and started reading.

"Doesn't matter." She said. "It's better to be prepared anyway, having you know more about stuff like this will help later on. If not now, probably during the Games..." Zero said, her eyes growing dark. "If I do, get called...I can only hope that my knowledge on plants is sufficient enough to keep me alive.." She thought to herself. "But yeah, knowing this kind of thing is really helpful." She shrugged. "I wonder...What's going to happen in this year's games? Doesn't matter at the moment...My strategy, keep away from everyone else...Trust no one, but yourself..."

"If I don't get called I'm voulenering at this years games." Thomas blurted out without thinking. "You know, It'll be... well not fun, just diffrent. I'll finally be able to get out of here, if I win. And If i win life will be so much better." Thomas sighed. "Hell if you want I'll even let you live with me." Thomas looked at Zero and smiled. When he saw the look in Zero's eyes he stopped smiling. Without thinking he leaned in to kiss Zero but stopped himself. He pulled away. "Umm... sorry."
