Bandit pawed at the ground impatiently as he waited outside of the pokemon center that Chloe worked at. She had promised that when she finished work they would go do something fun, but it was taking so LONG! He flattened his ears against his head, rather displeased at being made to wait so long, but he knew that Chloe didn't have a choice. She had to work, make money, all that stuff....
At least she'd given him the choice to be outside rather than staying in his pokeball. She trusted him enough now that he could wander a bit out here if he wanted to, but there was nothing to do here!
"Trouble?" He called, hoping that the Murkrow was around somewhere, "Trooooouble!" He looked to the sky, but the black bird was nowhere to be seen. He was usually not too far off, generally he was keeping at least one eye on something for Chloe, but apparently he was either ignoring him or was somewhere else. Great.
"Awww..." He sighed. He wished he at least had someone to talk to.

Rasha trailed along behind Shina, amused as ever that it didn't really ever even seem to occur to the human to use her pokeball. Not that Rasha was complaining. Tenka had gotten into a battle, and needed to be healed. As they drew closer, Rasha perked up. She recognized that Blitzle! "" she whickered happily.
Shina smiled and left Rasha outside to talk to her friend. Time to heal Tenka.

Boring rocks, boring grass, kind of a pretty flower... He didn't really want to squish the flower under his hoof just because he was bored, so he settled for gently nudging it with his nose.
"What?" He lifted his head as he heard his name and jumped when he saw who was addressing him. "Rasha! I-I... I didn't see you there." He felt his face getting warm and suddenly found himself feeling very self-conscious. "It's nice to see you again." He shifted on his feet a bit, not sure what to say.
"I'm waiting for Chloe to be done with work." He was really just trying to keep an awkward silence from happening, as that was the last thing he wanted. "That's, well, that's why I'm hanging around here. Yeah..."

"" Rasha said, politely ignoring the nervousness Bandit was showing. It was kind of a nice change from stallions who thought they were the most amazing thing ever and expected her to agree. "" Rasha observed. She turned her head into the gentle wind, stretching her neck out and tossing her fiery mane.

"Oh, I'll bet Chloe will be helping her with that. Maybe, or it might be someone else but Chloe is really good." He laughed softly, "The best. I mean, maybe not the best YET but... Oh yes, the breeze!" He nodded quickly in agreement and stared at her mane as it flickered. It was beautiful and frightening at the same time...
"Yeah, I like breezes... And the rain. Wait, but you probably don't like the rain so much..." He shrunk back a bit, "I, uh, but breezes are nice! It makes your mane look good. I mean, uh, it always looks good but it... Sorry..." He stared intently at the ground between his hooves, at a complete loss for what to say.

Sweet? Really? She thought he was... Sweet? Amazing! "I... You really think so?" Bandit's mane sparked lightly, "I mean, thank you. You're sweet too." He smiled and gave her a nod. "Yes, it's true what they say about electric attacks being more accurate, at least some of them." He noticed his mane sparking and shook his head, causing it to stop. "It is kind of dangerous though..." He sighed, "If you're not careful, you'll shock everything."
He wasn't sure if talking about the weather was exactly the best conversation topic, but Rasha had started it so he was just going to go with it. "Is it true that when the sun is bright out your fire attacks are stronger?"

"Wow, that is good to know! I know how to use Flame Charge." He said with a nod, "I'll have to remember to use it in battles when it is sunny out." He wasn't a fan of using the move, as having fire on his fur still made him nervous even if it was under his control, but he didn't mention it. "Oh." He tilted his head, "I guess it isn't as much of a good feeling to have static on you when you're not an electric pokemon..." He had never thought of it that way before, "Still, it must be nice if you're up against a water pokemon." He said with a light hearted laugh. He enjoyed battling them because he had an advantage, but he imagined that it must be that much more satisfying for Rasha to use an electric attack on them.
"Well aren't you two cute." Chloe laughed as she stepped outside and took off her nurse hat. "I guess you found a way to keep busy while I was at work, eh?" She came over and ran her fingers through Bandit's short mane, light static shocks jumping over her hand. "Having fun?"

"" Rasha grumbled lightly. ""
Shina exited the Pokemon center shortly after Chloe. "Hey Rasha, all done. Oh! You found a friend!" Shina smiled. The two were standing rather close together, and looked quite cute.

"Flying types..." Bandit rolled his eyes. They never bothered him much, but he did find them annoying and chatty. He glanced around to make sure that Trouble wasn't around to hear him, not wanting to provoke the little prankster. "Ugh, I know what you mean." He shuddered lightly, "Ground types are the worst... My one real weakness..." He gave Chloe a lick on her hand as she patted him.
"Smell that, Shina?" Chloe laughed, "Smells like love, don't you think?"
WHAT?! Why did she say that?! "Chloe!" He danced on the spot and made an embarrassed face at his trainer, "We're friends!" He knew she didn't understand him, but he figured she might get the message. "We, we are friends, right?" Bandit turned to face Rasha again, "I mean, I think we are. I consider you a friend. A really nice, pretty friend... I mean... Never mind..."

Rasha laughed. "I'd like to be friends, Bandit. And you know," Rasha curved her neck and looked at Bandit out of the corner of her eye. "...I think those blue tips on your mane are handsome. Did you know shiny Ponyta have blue manes?" Rasha dug a hoof into the turf.
Shina snickered and covered her mouth. While she had no idea what the pokemon were saying, it was fairly obvious that Bandit was flustered and Rasha was flirting. "They certainly seem to be getting along!"

"Oh, good!" Bandit let out a sigh of relief, "I... Really?" Bandit looked up, trying to see his mane. He knew that it was blue at the ends but he rarely thought about it, since it stood up and he couldn't see it very well. "That's so nice of you..." He trailed off, staring down at the ground again for a few seconds. Maybe the fact that he looked a little like a shiny Ponyta would increase his chances of impressing her? It seemed like it had a little bit already. "I, uh, let's be friends then!"
"Getting along is right." Chloe smirked. She wasn't usually one for mushy little crushes, but Bandit was just so cute right now. She liked seeing him happy, watching him grow up...
"Don't be too long, Bandit, I'll be at home." She said with a laugh. "I'll let you stay for a while with your girlfriend here." She ignored the glare from the Blitzle and started heading back toward their house, "It was nice seeing you again, Shina!" She gave a wave as she hurried off.

"Sure, friends," Rasha agreed and pivoted around to face Bandit. Then she leaned forward and brushed cheeks with him, before rubbing her cheek all the way down the side of his neck. Her flame mane danced over his skin, as safe to the touch for him as it was for Shina. She drew back, looking a little shy.
Shina suppressed a coo at the action. They were sooo courting!

The leap that Bandit's heart made as she agreed to be friends with him was nothing when compared to what it did as she gently touched his face and rubbed his neck. He would have pulled away out of fear of her firey mane if not for the fact that he was too excited to move, but he was pleasantly surprised that this time the flames licked him gently with a comforting warmth, not a burning attack as it had been in their battle when they first met.
Bandit's own mane responded in kind, sending tiny sparks running down her neck as she touched his fur. They were so harmless that they probably would barely tickle her, and Bandit didn't even feel them, but he couldn't help himself.
"I... Wow..." Bandit blinked at Rasha a few times, a bright smile on his face that he couldn't get rid of if he tried. "Um... W-would you like me to walk you home? I mean, if that's ok with you..." He was so flustered that he only just noticed that Rasha seemed to be a bit shy right now too. He kind of liked it, but he wasn't sure why.
