Kaiko sat on a bench. She watched the little kids run around smiling brightly. She stared off into the trees at the park. She found herself fixated on the small petals of a flower on a tree. She watched as the petals flew apart, breaking into individual petals and scattering around. "That's almost like a mother and child," Kaiko whispered. The mother being the tree, who had leaves and petals. The petals and leaves would leave the mother and develope into their own tree. Kaiko noticed a petal flew by her face,.She breathed in the fresh air and sighed it all out. Kaiko smiled gently, but her face was pained. "I miss home," She said, looking down to the ground. Sure, some of her family may have already been here, but she missed all of them. She missed her home, where everyone would fight over foods and treats. She missed those good times. Her sisters and the rest of her brothers. Even if some were a bit, odd, who was normal? They all had obsessions. Kaiko sighed, and kept her head down.

Akatio wandered around the park area, just taking some time to himself. With a cigarette between his lips he walked about while glancing over the children playing. Things like that just made him think of the old days with his siblings. Getting in trouble for picking on Kaito, or putting hot peppers in any of his frozen treats. Though he caused a bit of trouble in his family it was all out of good fun for him. Inhaling deeply on his cigarette Akaito had noticed his blue-haired sister sitting on a bench not far from him. He actually hasn't seen much of her at all at the school but he knew that she was attending.
Akaito had hoped that Kaito was keeping an eye on her but by the looks of things she was alone. Removing the cigarette from his mouth he simply moved it about between his fingers sending a few small ashes to the floor. Without a word he walked towards his younger sibling and took a seat next to her sighing softly. Akaito leaned down just a bit trying to catch a glimpse of her face. Giving his little sister a weak smile he gently patted her over the head. "Why so blue, imouto-san?"

Kaiko felt a tap to her head and looked over to see Akaito. Kaiko stared at him, wondering why he was here, but she didn't ask. Indeed, it was quite a shock to see her red haired sibling over here, but she decided not to let her mind go too far. "Oh, Akaito-Nii," Kaiko whispered, unsure what to say next. She remembered his question and immediately panicked. "If...am I that upset?" She thought, cancelling her thoughts out. "I guess there's a lot on my mind, Akaito-Nii," Kaiko finished, darting her eyes from his.

Akaito blinked just a bit before leaning back in the seat. He was pretty sure he startled her so it would be best if he took a different approach to this situation. With a faint grin moving over his lips he glanced back over to her. "I was talking about your hair." He teased her as he flicked his cigarette to the ground putting it out. Turning his attention back over to his sister he folded his hands together over his lap. "I can see that. Are you under a lot of stress, imouto-san?" Akaito raised his brows simply trying to make sure that she was doing okay. "Do I have to beat someone up?"

Kaiko laughed softly when he mentioned her hair. "Of course, that was what you were talking about," She laughed softly. Her eyes became serious when he mentioned beating someone up. Kaiko knew Akaito was serious about beating someone up. Kaiko believed he got a pleasure from beating people. "No, its not like that!" Kaiko flailed her hands rappidly. She calmed down, sighing softly. "Don't you miss our brother's and sisters who aren't here?" Kaiko asked, glancing at him momentarily.

Akaito would gladly bring harm to anyone who messes with his little sister so he had to throw the offer out there. If that were the case he would have found out sooner or later. Kaito seemed to be doing a fair job of keeping an eye on her. "We have... a very big family, imouto-san. It's going to be a little hard to keep up with everyone. I do miss them, but it's not like we're never going to see them again." Akaito leaned back even more while letting his arms stretch out across the back of his bench. "I'm sure more of them will be sent here anyway. All we have to do is wait... More of the Shion family will be popping up at the academy like daisies." Akaito let out a small laugh from the thought of that. He knew that Nigaito was wandering around somewhere at the school but he didn't get a chance to see the little squirt. "I know it sucks that they're not here yet, but you just gotta be grateful that at least a few of us are here."

Kaiko smiled at her brother. He seemed to be much nicer than she remembered. Of course, through the slight teasing when they were younger, it did seem they were more mature. "Yeah, I guess they will come eventually..." Kaiko said, laughing at his comment. "Where do you get daisies?" Sure, her brother did have a sense of humor! Akaito was a good brother, no matter what others said. Yes, he was a jerk, but he was a nice jerk too. "Thanks Akaito-Nii," Kaiko thanked, smiling softly.

Akaito had obtained exactly what he wanted to see, a smile on his sister's face. Lifting up his left hand he places it over her head gently messing her blue strands of hair about before slipping his hand away. Of course there were so many more members in their family sometimes it was hard to keep track of everyone. "Shions show up at awkward times. Like daisies." He was very sure his statement made absolutely no sense at all but he had to say it anyway. Leaning over he pecked a kiss to his sister's forehead. "No more sitting around looking blue. Leave that to your eyes and your hair, imouto-san." Akaito never felt odd when it came to being nice to his siblings. Blood runs much thicker than water and he could never leave a Shion with a sad face, unless it's Kaito. They were around the same age so it's always fun to pick on him the most.

Kaiko smiled at his comment on dasies. "I guess Shion's do," She remarked, laughing softly. It was true all the time. it was almost as if their mother was keeping them until they did something wrong, and then kicking them out like that. "Sure, sure, Akaito-Nii, I'll leave the blueness to my hair, and let it cry bluer and bluer," Kaiko remarked, knowing it made little sense. She could barely think, but her brother did make sense. She grinned at her brother. It was amazing how she was so scared of him before, because of Kaito's impressions at an early age. Her brother wasn't that bad. "So, how's school been with you?" Kaiko asked, knowing she had no classes with him at all. If he were in Biology, he may have gotten a slip by Kaito. She smirked at the thought. "As if he would ever be caught in that class anyway," She thought.

Akaito blinked a bit at her remark then snickered just a little. Running his fingers through his hair he looked about. It's not that he didn't have any classes with his siblings it just that for the moment he chose not to join in. He wanted to check the place out so for the first day of school he ditched every last one of his classes. "School... is fine. So much work I can barely do a single thing." He mumbled a bit while his eyes glanced over the park, his first time taking a stroll here. "Lots of classes and all that jazz. Nothing too complicated. How about you?" He turned his attention back onto his sister while twirling an idle finger about within his hair. "Doing all of your homework and not letting boys distract you?" Akaito snickered as he prodded his sister's side with his elbow. As much as he would like a cigarette at the moment he preferred that his sister breathe clean air.

"Oh? I feel bad for you on the homework," Kaiko said, smiling. She felt Akaito hit her side and she hit him back, just as playfully. "I've not been doing my homework, I just come with excuses on why not," Kaiko said, nonchalantly. It wasn't like they really did have homework, but Kaiko tended to do her work during the class. "As for boys, well, there's barely any of them here who aren't part of the Shion family anyway!" Kaiko said, resting her right arm on the railing of the bench.

Well that certainly was a good thing to hear. No need for him to hunt down any kid going after his sister. That was certainly a relief, but of all people he never thought Kaiko would slack out on her homework. That something he would expect more from himself. "Hopefully you're using good excuses. I've used 'Kaito ate my homework' once... It actually worked for me so that's a good excuse to throw out there if you need on." He did actually notice that. Most of the males attention the school were of the Shion family aside from the popstar princess's brother and those two wimpy little runts, Len and Piko. "This place is kinda packed with girls... " Not that he minded at all.

"Well I guess, I could say that, if I was not in Kaito-Nii's class," Kaiko laughed at her brother's humor. She only slacked on her homework because of her job. The late night shifts at the cafe, only added on to the hours at the night. She could always use that excuse and it worked every time. "Lucky you, you get all these girls to choose from," Kaiko said, elbowing him gently. "Well, Mikuo's taken apparently by Teto, I overheard them in Kaito-Nii's dorm talking about going to the ball," Kaiko said, "And Piko, I think Gumi has him for grabs," Kaiko finished. She didn't know about Len, Kaiko, Nigaito, or even Akaito. "There anyone you particularly fond of?" Kaiko asked, hoping he would answer.

Teto walked into the large park, kicking the small pebble at the gate. She looked around blankly, catching her eye on Kaiko and her brother. how I wish I could visit the park with my brother.. Teto thought as she grabbed her arm. she envied Kaiko and her large family. Teto made her way to an empty bench under the tree. It looked like Kaiko was busy, so she wouldn't bother bugging her. Teto pulled out her cellphone and looked over her texts. the last time Ted messages her was over 2 years ago. Teto sighed. If anything, living here was better. Her old home was a wreck, and she tried to convince Ted to join her, but he never did. Teto looked over once more, and noticed Kaiko looking a bit down. Teto had a playful smile come across her face. " (^ o ^) " Teto messages, hoping Kaiko would smile.

Akaito rubbed his chin while thinking over a few things. "Well of course you wouldn't want to use that line while Kaito-san is teaching. Then again he's so slow he might even fall for it and let you slide with that one." Akaito could see his brother thinking over the thought and then agreeing that he would do something like that. That alone made him laugh a bit. Akaito had heard word about the ball and he actually had someone in mind that he wanted to ask but it would be more of a friend kind of thing. "I was going to ask Rin... but she's not really my type of girl... I think. She's a bit... young as well." Akaito rested the palm of his hand over his forehead the thought alone was annoying. "I don't even think a place like that is my kind of scene anyway.. and if Meiko is going to be there I have to behave and there's no fun in that." After thinking it over for a bit he simply shrugged the idea away. "Yeah. It would be best if I didn't go."
