Ello, I have been on the works on becoming a caster. I figured making videos of gaian players and post them here as well as youtube would be a good start.
I myself am not a high rank player but I can analyze very well just mind not fast enough to keep up in real life
If you would like for me to analyze please post the game/s that you would like me to see and after I record, I will post them here and on youtube.

If you want a treasure trove to practice on there's a subforum in the guild where we've posted a bunch of our best (and sometimes not so good) games for others to critique or just plain laugh at. There's probably hundreds ranging from launch to today so they span all the major patches and season changes. Feel free to use any of them, just be sure to post them so we can give you tips and such. :3

The thing is that's for streaming
At this point in time I don't want to stream online all I want to do is to record that way I can post it on youtube and such to be able to stream later
I cannot find a recorder that doesn't lagg the crap out of my tower
Operating System: Windows 2.6.1.7600 CPU Type: Intel® Core™ i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz CPU Speed: 3.23 GHz System Memory: 11.99 GB Video Card Model: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series Video Card Memory: 2.23 GB Video Card Driver: aticfx32.dll Primary Display Resolution: 1600x1200 Secondary Display Resolution: 1680x1050 Hard Disk Size: 198.91 GB Hard Disk Free Space: 187.83 GB (94%) Download Speed: 1.11 MB/s (9.3 mbps)
That's the specs setting, copied from battle.net bata profile settings biggrin !
I just cannot find a decent recorder
http://www.321showit.com/ is a pretty nice example of what I want to do but cannot find the software to do,

http://www.321showit.com/ is a pretty nice example of what I want to do but cannot find the software to do, you have a strong RAM/processor but your video card "ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series" is a bit outdated for streaming. it may be bottlenecking you. that said, recording video at high resolutions will cause choppiness. it shouldn't cause your computer to die the way you're making it sound though. streaming successfully/recording good video does take some messing around with and computer knowledge... just keep reading guides/trying to tweak it until you get something that works.

I used fraps to record myself paying GRID at near highest settings, as well as some other games. If you haven't tried that program yet. (It's easily "found" on the internet for free)

Well that was my understanding as well but for recording using camstasia it chops and when I finish recording it makes a video file but it takes an hour for 30 minutes of recording
Their where some occasions where the computer froze and did not respond for several hours
That's why I am looking for something simple to record games. I am planing on doing diablo 3 and saints the third as well recording with my wife
I don't want to stream because I would love to buy the xsplit streaming but I am worried it would just go to waste if it doe nothing.

I don't think there is anything "simple," maybeee xfire can do what you need, try that out. I would try our VHScreen Cap + Flash Media Encoder first, and if you can't get that to work at a satisfactory fps, then try xfire because that is the least system intensive (but also worst results).

Fraps is pretty simple, but you just need to compress it with another program after that. I used fraps to record (full version, free is pretty much crap), and used virtualdub (free) to use video encoders to compress it (I think I used xVid, or maybe it was DivX. Can't remember V_V)
