Name:Kokurongai Jakkuras

Nickname(s)/Alias(es): Jakku, Jack Knowles
Race: Shinigami
Rank: Captain of the 10th Squad
Age: Jakku appears to be in his late twenties or early thirties. He was born on August 16, 1834.

Physical Description: Kokurongai Jakkuras stands at a height of 6’4” and weighs in around 114 kg, roughly 250 lbs. Jakku is stockier, with broad shoulders, a naturally larger muscle mass, and barely any fat on him, than the average Shinigami. It is not uncommon to hear him being compare to a grizzly bear. Because of his shoulders, Jakku modified his kosode to make it short-sleeved and leaves it untied with a black muscle shirt underneath. On top of that is his Captain’s haori, which is sleeveless and emblazoned with the symbol of the 10th squad on his back. He can easily palm a full-sized bowling ball and is essentially a large man. Other than that, he wears the rest of his Shinigami uniform as it should be. Jakku has a relatively long mane of rough, black hair that fold backwards away from his face. While he does not have a mustache, he possesses a large chinstrap connected to a soul patch. His eyes are an odd iridescent, reflecting the colors of the rainbow in light, on top of blue, the color they are in absence of light to reflect, and will appear to glow in the dark. Due to his eyes, Jakku can see much better than the normal person at night. His face appears worn and bronzed.

It goes without saying that Jakku is very strong and physically imposing, however he is also rather stealthy for a 6’4”, 250 lb man who has trouble fitting through most doorways. In the outdoors, he can move quietly through heavily wooded areas with ease. Jakku’s speed and long distance stamina are somewhat lacking, however. His average moving speed is nothing impressive and can often be beaten by those he outranks, such as some third seat officers and most vice-captains. However, Jakku’s strength, speed-wise, is his ability to give a powerful burst of speed for a short period of time (no more than two posts) where it practically doubles, bordering on tripling, and puts him on par with high-speed Captains, with a cool-down/resting period before he can do it again (three posts of rest for a post burst, six in all). To put it simply, Jakku is a bit slow but is powerful enough to briefly compensate for his lack of speed through a combination of muscle and will power.

Personality: Jakku suffers from a lingering melancholia brought on by his troubled past. Relative to his “life-span”, the melancholy has only happened recently due to Jakku’s initial inability to properly function in social situations. As a result, he usually acts aloof and unemotional, but he is just as sensitive as a regular person, if not more. This internal build-up is what first led to his depression, and then to his slow but steady recovery as he became less self-centered and took the time to actually see and take in his surroundings. Jakku still spends time reminiscing about his past and how he should have acted differently in some situations, despite his full understanding that it is just survivor’s guilt and hindsight is perfect. He tries, although he doesn’t necessarily succeed, to become more sociable through some sort of trial-and-error system. Once you get down to the very core of his personality, stripping away layers after layers of cynicism and world-weariness like a matryoshka doll, it is still as it was before he died, the personality of a child.

Nevertheless, Jakku is not a “people person” at all. He rarely voices his own opinion and prefers to state facts. He dislikes dealing with large crowds of people as he lacks a certain charisma to lead the masses and appears more intimidating than anything else. Jakku does not drink for fun either, the very idea nauseates him. If a drunken man annoys Jakku, he will not hesitate to contribute to the man’s hangover by punching him in the face. Hard. He is more lenient with woman partially due to it being ingrained and their perceived frailty. Jakku can maintain an outside appearance of calmness, but his control over his reiatsu isn’t as good as his physical features. It isn’t rare for him to appear calm and undisturbed while his reiatsu emits waves of anger and hatred strong enough to drown in. Mementos of his past affect him greatly, either sending him into a deeper funk or to the point where his anger uncharacteristically transcends his ability to keep himself in check, leading to devastating situations.

Theme Song(s): Blind Guardian - The Wheel of Time (Orchestral Version)

Zanpakuto:

Zanpakuto Spirit: Kazan Kamen (Volcano Mask)
Jakkus zanpakuto spirit is the tattoo of a large Tiki Mask permanently tattooed on right above the left flipper of a Monodon Monoceros, colloquially known as the narwhal, more commonly known among his narwhal brethren as Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tieberlane XVII. The narwhal itself is an incredibly confused creature that had died and was for some reason sent to Soul Society by a Shinigami for shits and giggles. In Soul Society, it was reported as a great horned beast prowling the rivers. Eventually the brass of the Seireitei realized something wasn’t right and sent a squad hunting for it. After the entire 13th Squad finally found Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tieberlane XVII after two and a half months of extensive searching, they engaged it. At first Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tieberlane XVII managed to hold his own against three unseated members at once, blocking their attacks and returning blow for blow without even breaking a sweat (which narwhals are incapable of by the way). After about twenty unseated members had surrounded Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tieberlane XVII they finally managed to deal a fatal blow to him, killing him after the epic battle. On the other hand, seventeen out of the twenty members had been gored, of varying levels from straight-up horn-through-the-guts to little pricks that barely break skin.

Afterwards, Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tieberlane XVII found himself in a strange, unknown location yet again. He had entered the realm of zanpaku-tos. Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tieberlane XVII wasn’t suited to simply wait his turn in line though, nor was he going to willingly submit to a Shinigami. Instead, he rolled around the area, crushed a certain tiki mask that was just lying around, and eventually fell into a large body of water. As Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tieberlane XVII began to swim around, he felt a burning sensation on his left side just above his flipper. Since he was a narwhal though, he couldn’t check to see what it was and it eventually faded after a while. Swimming, without growing tired or hungry, for centuries, he one day found himself in a strange new location yet again. Whenever Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tieberlane XVII tries to leave, his left side flares up as though it’s melting and he is forced to stay in the area.

Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tieberlane XVII’s Theme Song: Because he deserves one.

Kazan Kamen, the animated tiki mask tattoo on Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tieberlane XVII, has the personality of a college stoner and an absolute “bro”. He enjoys smoking, drinking, and partying. Unfortunately for him, he’s a tattoo. With his generally laid-back attitude, there’s not too much he really cares about other than Jakku, his host Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tiberlane XVII, and occasionally smoking and drinking when somebody draws either of those things on his 2-D world. Since Jakku is the main, and only, supplier of those things to him, he thinks Jakku’s a pretty cool dude.

Kazan Kamen’s Theme Song (To Be Fair): Stratovarius – Under Flaming Skies

Inner World: Jakku’s Inner World exists as an isolated island, formed and expanded by the single volcano at the center of it, in the middle of a vast, seemingly endless ocean. At the very edges of the ocean are barely visible glaciers. These walls of ice, when examined up close seem to extend to the bottom of the ocean, infinitely upwards, and impassable. These glaciers act as additional barriers to the transient nature of Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tiberlane XVIII to keep him from leaving. Through some observation, Jakku has noted that the glacial walls inch closer at a steady pace of 3.7 centimeters a year, meaning they would completely cover his little island in ~179,000,000 years. Assuming Jakku miraculously manages to survive that long, he theorized it would change the nature of his zanpakuto.

Sealed Form: The sealed form of Jakku’s zanpakuto is a nodachi just below 70 inches long. The blade itself is 54 inches long. While it appears as a normal nodachi, the sharpened edge of the blade has actually been replaced with obsidian, which has a sharper cutting edge than steel does due to its properties. The hilt wrap is black in color, blending in with the color of the hilt itself. The pommel of Jakku’s zanpakuto, about two inches long, is made of hard, polished granite that, while is capable of being used as a close range weapon, counteracts the weight of the blade for balance. If someone gets close enough to force Jakku to use the pommel, Jakku’s doing it wrong and would much prefer to use his fists or knees anyways. The scabbard for Kazan Kamen’s sealed form is made of black painted wood. Some artisans in the Rukongai had artistically created a pattern of red line of varying intensity (color-wise) that resembled cracks and gave the impression the space between the lines were patches of black land floating atop molten magma. Jakku can summon and dispel his scabbard at will. He carries his nodachi on his back.

Zanpakuto Element: Volcano

[False] Shikai Name/Release Phrase: “Ashes to Ashes, Sumokiizabaru!”

[False] Shikai Description: When Jakku releases his Shikai, his nodachi begins to glow a dark shade of red. Then, the blade of his nodachi will expand outward in an explosion of smoke, engulfing Jakku in a hemisphere with a radius of a hundred and fifty meters. The handle of the nodachi itself turns into a larger-than-average silver lighter, embossed with a roaring grizzly bear’s head.

[False] Shikai Powers:
The Smoke: Sumokiizabaru’s smoke, although it would be more accurate to call it a conglomeration of smoke and ash, is similar to normal smoke, but it has a few special properties. The first thing is that the smoke carries the reishi, and thus the reiatsu signature, of Jakku. This means when Jakku releases his False Shikai, his general location is easy discover both visually and through sensing due to the large signature it creates. However, anyone outside will be unable to pinpoint Jakku’s location within the smoke. The smoke is also always in contact with Jakku as an entire mass. If an intense gale was blowing at Jakku, it’d blow the smoke directly behind him. Jakku’s smoke is dense and dark, obscures vision, and irritates the eyes and throat. It has a fairly high amount of carbon monoxide content too, meaning that if someone breaths in too much of the smoke, they will feel the effects of carbon monoxide poisoning, which includes headaches, fatigue, nausea, a lessening of the body’s ability to transport oxygen (carbon monoxide bonds to hemoglobin and obstructs the delivery of oxygen), an increases heart-rate, and low blood pressure. Extended exposure to it may lead to vertigo, delirium, and hallucinations. Prolonged exposure over a longer period of time will become fatal as it could lead to unconsciousness and cortical blindness. Anything longer has the possibility of causing long-term problems and a short-term one, death. The smoke, of course, does not affect Jakku and will not affect people who aren't directly breathing it in.

[One post before the initial effects are felt, another one before the effects of extended exposure is felt. Two posts before the effects of prolonged exposure are felt and another two posts past that will lead to death. If opponent holds his or her breath before entering the smoke (Note: Will not count if they try it when already in the smoke), an extra post before the initial effects are felt. When the opponent leaves the area of the smoke, their blood will detoxify over time, meaning that if they spend two posts in the smoke, they will feel the lingering effects for one post, four posts in to two posts out, and so on and so forth.]

Kemuri no Houshutsu (Smoke Emission): Sumokiizabaru’s main ability is its release of copious amounts of smoke, maxing out at the swirling hemisphere of smoke with a radius of 150 meters with Jakku at the center, like his release. The maximum volume of smoke remains the same, but it can be manipulated into other shapes, motions, and even colors. When Sumokiizabaru is in its “open” state, it will constantly release smoke. By pressing down on the lighter as if to draw a fire, an eruption of smoke similar to his initial release will blast outwards, on a similar note if Jakku double-clicks the striker it will draw in all the smoke around it, even ones that did not originate from Jakku and Sumokiizabaru.

Smoke Tag: By touching Sumokiizabaru to a person or an object and striking the lighter three times, that person or object will become the center of the maelstrom of smoke for two posts before it returns to Jakku. This will block out the person’s sight, force them to inhale the smoke, and disorient them. It can also be used as a diversion or to separate people.

Shikai Name/Release Phrase: “Erupt, Kazan Totem!”

Shikai Description Kazan Totem, the Shikai form of Kazan Kamen, is a totem pole stacked three heads high. Each head is a cylinder with a height of four feet and a diameter of three feet, making it 12 feet tall. Each head has an embedded handle to grip it on the back and the totem pole can be separated into its individual components. Between each head is a chain increasing incrementally, the length of the chain between the first two heads is ten feet, between the second and the third is twenty, making the total range of Kazan Totem 42 feet. Each totem pole appears unique and the mouths are capable of opening and closing. When calling out his Shikai from his sealed sword, Jakku will stab his nodachi into the ground in front of him and from there it will grow into the totem pole. From his False Shikai, the smoke will begin to gather and form the shape of the totem. Eventually the remaining bits will disperse and reveal Kazan Totem underneath. Kazan Totem is actually pretty heavy but Jakku can swing it around with relative ease.

Shikai Powers:
Kyuusoku na Kasai: Yougan (Rapid Fire: Lava) Kyuusoku na Kasai: Yougan is the weaker ability of Kazan Totem to spew lava from its mouths. By opening its mouth and molding the lava into the shape of a spear, Kazan Totem launches lances of burning lava and can do so in quick succession. While the Kyuusoku na Kasai: Yougan has limited penetrative effects, If it hits a person it will burn them greatly and, if the lava isn’t removed, harden into igneous stone, usually basalt or granite. The stone will somewhat hinder their movements and make it harder to deal with the burns from the lava.

Ooki na Yougan no Bakuhatsu (The Great Lava Blast): Ooki na Yougan no Bakuhatsu is the greater ability of Kazan Totem to spew lava from its three mouths. Unlike Kyuusoku na Kasai: Yougan, which concentrates on the rapid fire of lance-like lava, Ooki na Yougan no Bakuhatsu concentrates more on completely saturating an area with lava. Requiring one post to charge up, where the eyes of each totem will begin to glow red and the entire totem pole warms up, Ooki na Yougan no Bakuhatsu launches forth a great torrent of lava from each mouth, combining into one huge blast of lava. The blast can be fired with varying pressure applied, having it dribble down and forming a pond of lava at Jakku’s feet or blasting like a huge and powerful water cannon, except with lava. When firing, each head opens it mouth and fires forth an expanding blast of lava. Within the first ten meters of Jakku, the lava is strong enough to burn through some solid materials, such as wood, concrete, and steel. After that distance it will flow around it, eroding away. Unlike Kyuusoku na Kasai: Yougan, the lava will not harden for five posts due to the sheer volume.

Magma/Lava Manipulation: Due to the nature of his zanpakuto, Jakku gains a limited amount of power to manipulate lava, whether naturally found or self-made. By a wide, sweeping motion of his arm, the lava will generally follow through. For example, by sweeping his arm horizontally in front of him, any lava within twenty meters will surge forward in a wave and by up sweeping his arm up vertically, he will create a wall of lava for as long as his arm remains up. Jakku is also immune to lava and magma; however he does not gain immunity to fire as lava is molten rock.

Yougan Jidouningyou (Lava Golem): Jakku places the totem pole down and intones “Come forth, Yougan Jidouningyou,” which causes the top totem to separate and rise up about a foot above the rest while the two bottom ones also rise up six feet. Lava will begin to leak out and harden quickly, forming a skeleton of igneous rocks, which cannot be actively moved. The skeleton appears to be ten feet tall at its hunched over shoulders. Its backbone has a number of large obsidian spines running down it leading to a tail for stability. It stands on two goat-like hooves and the claws on its hands above viciously sharp. Then, Jakku will touch the middle totems representing its torso, protected by a ribcage, and will enter into the Lava Golem. When he does lava will erupt out and fill out the entire Golem, the peak of Jakku’s ability to manipulate lava, and allowing him to move it. He also sees through the eyes of the head totem.

When Jakku is piloting the Lava Golem, he cannot create any more lava from Kazan Totem, but if there’s any lava on the field he can incorporate it. If the Lava Golem is hit by a sufficiently powerful water or wind attack, the lava it impacted will take the blow but it will also harden into rock, which will drop off from the Golem, decreasing its mass. Jakku can also fire off lava from his Golem and retrieve it later if it hasn’t hardened yet. Without sufficient lava, Jakku cannot move the golem.

(Not obtained yet) Bankai Name: Kazan no Kamen Kamigami (Masked Gods of the Volcano)

Bankai Description: When Jakku calls out his Bankai, his entire totem pole begins to glow a pulsing red and then separates into three parts. The top two each turn into a large orb of lava and smoke respectively, each one with an entity, or a “God of the Volcano”. The bottom pillar creates an armored figure standing at least fifty feet tall. The armored giant is always in use and Jakku can only actively use one of the orbs in its entity form at a time, but he can still utilize the other in its orb form if he ever sees a need for it. The figure appears to be a human-reptilian hybrid, learning slightly forward with hunched shoulders and a ten-foot long tail. It stands bipedal but it can also go on all fours to increase its moving speed. The claws on the ends of its limbs are already razor sharp, yet have been augmented with armor plating too. The head also appears reptilian, with a long snout and a mouthful of razor sharp teeth. The armor is black with intricate red lines and runes that appear to glow carved on it. Its helmet completely covers its face and even has its own set of teeth layering over on the jaws for a double bite. Its forelimbs have five claws each, with opposable thumbs, while its hind limbs only have four. The name of this “God of the Volcano” is Mo’o Nui.

The second God of the Volcano is Pa’u Ahi who is in the orb of smoke. In actuality, Pa’u Ahi actually appears as a pale, white floating head with no facial features except a mouth that can’t be seen until it opens unnaturally wide and can unhinge like a snake. Pa’u Ahi can generate a large amount of smoke too, but its power lies in its ability to turn into smoke and transport itself along it and the ability to solidify smoke, creating a “body” and weapons and body extensions out of it. Its general build is often tall and slender, with long limbs, as a way to camouflage in places like forests. Pa’u Ahi will only take damage if hit in the face. The smoke is heavily reiatsu-dense so it won’t be easily blown away without a powerful wind-based attack. The third, and final, God of the Volcano is Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tiberlane in all his glory, although he is to be referred to as Lua’i Pele. Being a narwhal, “Lua’I Pele” (or just The Narwhal) still swims, but does so in molten lava now. Yes, that’s right, he swims in LAVA. As he “swims” through the air, Lua’I Pele brings a massive wave of lava with him to travel swiftly and bring down burning lava when he charges enemies with his deadly facial horn. He is also lightly armored, with bladed plates on his fins that allow him to slice at enemies. Since the lava follows him, spinning will create a vortex of it. Lua’I Pele can also combine with Mo’o Nui and form a large mounted cannon, taking up the entire length of Mo’o Nui’s back, with a gaping maw roughly three feet in diameter. The diameter at the center of the gun is seven feet while the other end is six feet, creating an additional build-up of pressure when it fires either a ball or stream of lava. It bears some resemblance to a decapitated narwhal with no fins. The cannon can also be rotated backwards and, by applying plenty of pressure, will boost it forward.

Bankai Powers:
Kantai Kazan Obi (The Ring of Fire): A special attack launched by the cannon on Mo’o Nui’s back. Mo’o Nui goes on all fours and begins to literally dig itself into the ground for a stable shot. Then, at the opening of the cannon will extend what appears to be the horn of a narwhal. The magma from inside the cannon will rush outwards and condense into a single sphere at the tip of the ten meter horn. When fired, it will travel linearly. However, anywhere in its line of fire, Jakku can cause it to expand into a stationary tornado-like mass of lava spinning through the air. The tornado has a diameter of about ten meters and a height of one hundre meters. After one post of it up, it will collapse and form a massive pool of lava. Takes two posts to charge (fires on the third) and the cannon will become unusable for another post afterwards.

Barukan: Kamigami no Yoroi (Vulcan: Armor of the Gods): Vulcan: Armor of the Gods is the culmination of Jakku’s Bankai. Since he is not able to control all three pieces of his Bankai at the same time, he combines them with himself to achieve Kazan no Kamen Kamigami’s true potential. Jakku becomes covered into plated armor nearly identical to Mo’o Nui’s, a black base with intricate red runes. His helmet covers his entire head and only Jakku’s eyes, glowing eerily from within the dark confines of the helmet, are visible. The gauntlet on his left hand is also visibly larger and bulkier than the one on his right; in fact his left forearm is almost three times as thick as his right one due to the extra armor and a hollow chamber inside. In his right hand is a spiral sword with a 40 inch blade. While it is clearly better suited to stabbing than slashing, the spiral sword can spin quickly and emit lava from its tip in the form of its two Shikai attacks, Rapid Fire: Lava and the Great Lava Blast. Wrapped around his shoulders and trailing to the ground behind him is a spacious cloak dark-gray to black in color. The cloak is constructed out of smoke and ashes and reveals Jakku’s ability to solidify and manipulate smoke and ash. The cloak has powers similar to Jakku’s False Shikai’s ability to create and draw in copious amounts of smoke and ash.

Gekido Sensha Juuden (Blazing Chariot Charge): Gekido Sensha Juuden is used with the spiral sword. Jakku channels and expels an excess amount of lava and energy through the sword with lava blasting out of it constantly. By gouging the ground, he can create a river of lava from the tip and Jakku charges with the blade pointing to the ground. He will surf along the river to increase his velocity. When he reaches the enemy, he will raise the sword and collide with his enemy, scorching him with lava and transfer a heavy, penetrating impact. If the opponent is impaled by Gekido Sensha Juuden and cannot withstand the force, the person will be carried along with the charge while being burned by the lava. Afterwards when the charge hits a solid object, if the person is strong enough to maintain his ground, or if Jakku hits an object that stands the attack, the sudden halt will blast the trailing lava, still being carried by the momentum, into the object. This technique is fantastic for blasting through heavy defenses and is most effective when used linearly.

Atsuryoku Hatsubai (Pressure Release): Atsuryoku Hatsubai utilizes the overly-large gauntlet situated on Jakku’s left hand, which has a hollow component to it. First, the red lines and runes on his armor “drain” into the large gauntlet, leaving behind only black groove lines where they previously illuminated. The amount within his gauntlet causes the pressure to increase greatly and seek a way out. For that Jakku has two choices, he can open up small holes at the front of his gauntlet to release a powerful burst of pressure (Burst/Basuto), amplifying any punches he throws with greater concussive force and capable of even deflecting some airborne projectiles. The other option is to release all the stored up reiatsu too, opening up the entire front of his gauntlet and firing wildly powerful burst of energy along with the pressure (Blast/Burasto), making it anywhere from twice to three times as powerful as the “pressure-only” version. The pressure-only version of Atsuryoku Hatsubai can be used once per post, but using the stronger version requires one post in between to restore the lines and runes of his armor with energy and drain it back into the gauntlet. If Jakku charges up Atsuryoku Hatsubai for an extra post, he can transmute the reishi stored in his gauntlet, generating the pressure, into lava and fire that (Lava Blast/Yougan Burasto) in lieu of the Blast mode.

Vesuvius: One of Jakku’s most awe-inspiring abilities with a massive area of effect on par, and even beyond, that of a natural disaster, Jakku will suddenly release an ungodly amount of smoke and volcanic ash, mixed with his reiatsu, into the air by transmuting his armor into smoke and ashes. By losing his heavy armor, Jakku’s speed multiplies to twice its previous speed. The sheer amount of smoke and ash will then spread out, form ominously dark clouds, and blot out the sun. At this point small amounts of ash will begin returning to the earth in what appears to be black snow. Jakku can decide how much distance he wants the clouds to spread. One post later, the ash fall pick up and come down in a fierce blizzard. Visibility will be reduced to only a few inches, sound would be deadened by the ash, and, since the ash is also infused with Jakku’s reiatsu, detecting any other reiatsu signature will prove difficult and faint, but not impossible.

The ash fall with negatively affect people too. It will irritate and scratch at the surface of a person’s eyes and breathing in ash can cause it to mix with moisture in the lungs and form a liquid-cement like substance, therefore it is advisable to protect and filter the air being breathed in. Volcanic ash also conducts electricity, damaging technologically complex equipment and interrupting radio waves and such in the air. After two posts of heavy ash fall, or three posts after Jakku uses Vesuvius, the ash will accumulate six inches, which is over 200 lbs per square yard of pressure, and cause collapses and cave –ins of buildings. However, when using Vesuvius Jakku can only affect ash in a ten meter radius and the effects of Vesuvius expire when Jakku calls it off or after five posts, leaving behind over a foot of ash in the area, and can only be used once per Bankai. To end Vesuvius, Jakku can spend one post to form all the ash back into armor or into his three Gods.

Special Accessories: Jakku is in possession of a pair of wraparound sunglasses that he carries around with him. The sunglasses, besides their normal function, are pretty hi-tech with night vision, infrared, and all sorts of cool trinkets attached. They are occasionally worn at night to hide his glowing eyes while maintaining night vision.

Skills/Abilities:

Kidou:

Bakudou:

  • 1. Restrain (Sai)
  • 4. Crawling Rope (Hainawa)
  • 8. Repulse (Seki)
  • 9. Strike (Geki)
  • 9. Disintegrating Circle (Hourin)

Hadou:

  • 1. Thrust (Shou)
  • 4. White Lightning (Byakurai)

Powers:
- Shikai
- Basic Kidou (Hado and Bakudo #1 - 10)
- Senda (閃打, Flash Strike) Senda is a technique created by Aine through trial and error under her attempt to emulate Shunpo through her arms. The coating both supports her arms from hard impacts and collapsing while pushing off or landing, but also restricts the movement of her fingers due to the pressure exerted on her hands from the coating. Those pressures, if left unmanaged through missing concentration, can slip and literally shred her skin and cut deep enough to sever tendons and scar muscle tissues. To help prevent that, Aine is constantly aware of where her hands land while using Senda. She has to make contact with the palm of her hand and no other parts of the hand or she risks crushing her fingers, breaking her hand or loosing control of the reiatsu coating. Though, if done correctly instead of using her feet for all forms of propulsion, she can emulate the same speeds as her typical Shunpo with her arms.

Biography/History:
Departure
Swam Around in Circles

“Dave? Dave? Where are you?”

The high-pitched whisper of a ten year old child pierces the solitude of the dark mine shaft. During the controlled chaos of the lunch break, one of his fellow coal miners, (Dave, age nine), had disappeared. The overseers thought nothing of it, just another kid who couldn’t adapt to the harsh life. After all, there were plenty of children who wanted, no, needed the meager wages the job offered to sustain themselves. With the current state of the laissez-faire economy, the managers could fire everyone and replace them within the same day and the only thing lost would be experience. So the workers banded together into a union, a brotherhood, to support each other. No one had seen Dave since lunch, not even the “guards”, thugs hired to keep the workers in line, saw him. In the end it rested on a small group of workers to search the endless system of tunnels, filled with dead ends, abandoned shafts, dangerous equipment, and unstable structural supports. Naturally, the boy had volunteered. Dave was one of his friends, and, even though he was worn and weary at the end of the working day, the boy was determined to help the unofficial search party. Everyone had slowly begun to separate as they came across abandoned shaft after abandoned shaft and he ended up taking his own. Which is exactly how he ended up in the dark tunnel. He had been forced to cling to the wall, move cautiously, and could not speak above a whisper for fear of cave-ins. The light of his lamp had died about five minutes ago.

So did the canary.

The boy knew he should probably- no, definitely- turn back now. A nagging feeling kept his feet in motion though; he could have sworn he heard footsteps here too. A coughing fit, altogether too common for him, wracked through his small body again despite his best efforts at restraining it. He pulled out a bandana and wrapped it around his face in an effort to filter out whatever fumes there might be from coal dust or some other gas and kept going. After five minutes, all light had vanished from the tunnel; the only remnants of it came from directly behind him, far, far away. As he searched in front of him with his hand, he realized that he reached the end of the tunnel. Disappointed, he began to make his way back on the opposite wall. Disappearances among workers were all too common in the subterranean maze that made up the mines and the boy feared the worst. Tears began to well up at the corner of his eyes, streaming down his face, as he frantically tried to wipe them away and deny his fears. Suddenly, a concussive blast violently smashed him into the wall, knocking the wind out of him and distorting his limited night vision.

Except he didn’t. The boys eyes widened in surprise and fear. Directly in front of him, collapsed and on its knees was…. him. Staring at himself in fear and wonder, he gathered his strength to rise and heard the rustling of chains. Chains that attached from his chest to his body. He tried to calm himself down with his breathing and took a step forward towards himself.

“You… said… we’re… friends… right? Friends… are… there… for… each… other… forever… right?”

A raspy voice echoed out. The boy’s attention was pulled away from himself and he suddenly became aware of a massive monster, covered in black fur and hidden in the darkness. The only thing the boy could make out of it was its face was its large, red eyes that shone in the dark. Pure fear seized him as the boy naturally shied away from the creature, he quickly found himself cornered. A massive glowing smile broke on it the thing’s face. Inside its rows of teeth that shone unnaturally in the dark was another set of teeth.

“Then… be with… me… forever… In my stomach!”

A raspy, malicious laughter filled the tunnel, the last bastions of sanity and humanity the beast had fell and the head of the monster surged forward like a bolt of black lightning, going right for the boy’s head. The boy’s knees quickly gave out and he collapsed as the mouth of the monster snapped mere inches from his head.

Ye lord, mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man…

Another voice, the soft melodious one of a woman, filled the tunnel. The beast in front of the boy suddenly whipped the head, perched on top of a ridiculously long neck, back and faced the origin of the voice. Its body language displayed fear as it realized it was trap. Desperate, it began a thundering charge towards the person.

Inferno and pandemonium,THE SEA BARRIER SURGES, MARCH ON TO THE SOUTH! HADO #31: SHAKKAHO!”

The beautiful voice escalated in volume quickly as whatever monster was present in the tunnel began its hopeless charge. The boy’s world became a red flash and deafening boom for a brief second. The tunnel itself seemed unable to endure anymore. At first, a single pebble fell. Then, bit by bit, the entire ceiling collapsed. A large rock smashed into the boy’s body, completely crushing it, and he felt immense pain and nausea as the chain suddenly snapped. Then the boy felt no more.

“s**t! I was careless!”

The same voice that had unleashed destruction on the monster, the Hollow, began to beat herself up as she laid out the unconscious spirit of the boy who had been inside that tunnel on the floor. She gritted her teeth and felt irrationally angry. At the Hollow who she just killed, at the boy for being in the tunnel, and mostly at herself for not noticing. She forced her tears back as a katana in her hand began to shake unsteadily. Slowly, she raised the hilt. The boy was on the verge of regaining consciousness, his eyelids began to flutter.

“I’m sorry.”

That was the first, and last, thing the boy heard as the pommel of an oddly shaped sword stamped itself on his head and he blacked out again.

Nadir
In a Meandering Ocean

There was a certain irony, the boy decided as he raised his pickaxe, in the way decisions were made by whatever God was out there. He let the pickaxe drop, chipping into the formation of sekkisekki stone.

The location of the 76th district of the East Rukongai put it near large quarries of sekkisekki stone, which was sold to the Seireitei, the government of the area. When the boy had first arrived, he had been confused as to where he was, and the strange garb he was wearing. A group of children, who appeared his age, had greeted him later on and filled in the confused boy on his situation. It was hard to take in at first, does any person want to accept their own death? The boy had thought it was a practical joke of some sort, while everyone was dressed oddly they appeared like regular humans and this place certainly did not look like his preconception of heaven or hell.

At the end of the day, the boy turned in his pickaxe to the overseer, who checked it off. He then joined the others in the line for their meager wages.
He was a young child, especially compared to the other workers, and it had taken a bit of begging and showing off to prove to the overseer that he could work just as hard, if not harder, than an adult. He had wanted to join Saorin and the others in their days of wandering carefree. He had an issue for the first few days, which was a hunger that none of the other residents seemed to have. The kids had pondered and decided that it was because the boy was new so he probably would still feel stuff from his former life, which made sense to him but did not change his hunger at all. No one was willing to take in another mouth to feed around here and the boy was forced to seek employment. The one and only job he could take was mining, well either that or becoming a robber but the boy was far too nice for that. Thus, he found himself experiencing a sinking feeling of déjà vu.

“Hey! Can you help us out again later tonight?” The voice of a child sounded out as a boy, Keiiro, who looked about eight, came running towards the boy. The boy collected his wages and responded with a nod and a weary but cheerful smile.

He was able to afford food and water now. He was also never hungry when he worked, which reinforced the other children’s ideas. However, once he got “home”, which is to say anywhere he could find shelter from wind and rain, he would feel a slow hunger creeping up. Some nights, during intense storms or just terrible conditions, he could stay at one of his friend’s house. No meal was truly free out here though, usually he would have to do some chores, at the least, to help out. Other nights, he would go hungry, having to spend most of his money on water when it was lacking. At these times, he would sneak out to the quarries and sleep there, where the hunger would vanish.

“100.” “200. He’s as strong as any adult and you can get more mileage out of him.” “100, I won’t go higher. I could get three others for 200 and you might have damaged him. Besides, from what I hear you’re not in a position to be naming prices, are you?”[/b ”Ch, fine. 100. Take him.”
The whole exchange went over the boy’s muddled head. He barely registered the removal of the rope binding him only to be replaced with iron shackles. An exchange of coins and a hand shake later he was jerked forward carelessly and was forced to follow the stranger who held the boy’s life in his hands.

The boy followed after Keiiro as he headed to his house. Keiiro’s mother had been bedridden with sickness and Keiiro’s father was left to run their family store by himself. It had been difficult on him and the stress had physically altered his appearance. Still though, he was nice enough to offer the boy a place to stay at as long as he cut the firewood and helped with any other basic chore. Because of the income brought by the store, Keiiro’s family occasionally ate dinner together too, more as a tradition than out of necessity, so the boy made it a note to help out as much as possible. At this point he was practically considered part of the family. Humming to himself, he followed Keiiro in through the side door when suddenly something heavy crashed into his skull, nearly causing the boy to black out from the impact. Woozy, he collapsed onto the floor, barely conscious.
”Dad! What are you doing?” Keiiro’s voice rang, startled by what just happened.
“Shut up! Go upstairs
now!”
His father commanded threateningly. He brandished the heavy wooden club in his hand menacingly as Keiiro quickly scurried upstairs. He needed money, more money than he could pool together. The doctor’s bill and the medication for his wife was expensive and if he didn’t get enough money soon, she would die. Panting heavily, he dropped the club to the floor and began binding the boy’s wrists and ankles together. After a quick search, he found the boy’s wages from the payday and pocketed it. When night had fallen, he hefted the very concussed boy onto his shoulders and headed for the pre-planned meeting spot with the trader.

“You <********> useless piece of s**t!”

The enraged voice barely pierced the veil of pain numbing the boy’s sense of the world around him. His eyesight had long since gone blurry and his entire world was pain. The foot of the voice’s owner came crashing into his stomach again and an automatic cry of pain rose from the boy as his arms quickly covered his stomach. It only seemed to further anger his attacker and kicked at the same spot much harder , the force lifted the boy off the ground and propelled him three meters throw the air. As he hit the hard, rocky ground he vaguely recalled hearing something shatter while his body rolled an extra three feet from his landing spot. A brief respite from the assault while his antagonist walked over to the boy. The walk seemed to diminish the nature of the man’s anger from fiery rage to cold hatred. Crouching down besides the unmoving body of the boy, blinded from pain, he yanked the boy’s hair back, eliciting another, quieter cry of ******** useless…” The man repeated. “Lasting only one week, what a ******** useless tool.”

He spit on the boy’s face and then forced it back down, smothering his face in the ground. Tiny lacerations appeared from the sharp rocks that lay scattered throughout the area. After the first day, the boy had begun to feel hunger again. While he complained about it, no food was to be offered to a mere slave. Subsisting only on water, he had collapsed from hunger in the middle of the diamond mine two days ago and was only found yesterday, barely able to even crawl. As a slave that needed extra expense was useless to the noble family who owned the mines, he had been discarded, broken and beaten, in the middle of the estates forest. The family had filled the area with all sorts of wild animals that were hunted for sport. Any of the carnivores, ranging from packs of feral dogs to panthers and tigers, would notice an outsider in their territory and, in his weakened state, the boy was easy pickings. The man that had brought him here straightened himself up and gave him one last kick while he fired insults and jeers before leaving.

Night had fallen.

Reverie
Had a Dream of Safety

The boy’s eyes were open, yet the world had gone dark to him. The sharp pain that stung his entire body had prevented him from falling unconscious. The boy had accepted, even welcomed death, yet there was something inherently frightening about dying. The first time he died had been quick and sudden, yet now it was uncertain when and how. His feeble body resisted what his mind viewed as inevitable. His heavy ragged breathing elicited stabbing pains throughout his torso as his battered rib cage heaved up and down. Seconds stretched onto infinity.

“The skies are burning.”

Visions of an apocalypse flashed through his mind. He was suddenly thrown into a strange other world, covered in dark clouds that spewed ashes. The clouds of ashes came from the mountain the boy found himself at the foot at. He was vaguely reminded of the smokestacks of the factories, yet had no knowledge of what it was happening in nature. It was as if the mountain was home to God’s own factory. Looking away from the mountain, towards the coastline of the strange country, he noticed moving walls of water, the smallest being fifty feet tall, battering and eating away at the shore line. It was an awe-inspiring sight, to say the least, as first a sandy beach, rocky grassland, and then the beginnings of the forest disappeared behind the advancing tsunamis. A loud, drawn out groan drew his attention back towards the smoking mountain. The boy watched in frozen amazement as it spewed forth a geyser of lava. He continued to watch until the lava, falling from the sky, engulfed him.

He opened his eyes as light begin leaking through the canopy of the forest, vision still hazy. Three humanoid figures stood in his view, two large ones flanking a much smaller figure.
“…. like…. slave…” A deep, grainy voice, yet indistinct voice filled his ears from the figure on his left. His hearing was off despite the proximity of the three. ”…go.”

“If he’s…. slave… then I… him…” A voice as sweet as honey flowed out from the central figure. The boy’s vision cleared enough for him to identify a young girl in a kimono and two armored men, one older than the other, with naginatas. She turned to the younger guard and said something inaudible to the boy. As he felt unconsciousness come to embrace him again, the last thing he recognized was the guard approaching him.

”Ah! You’re awake!”

A voice woke him up. Or maybe he was already awake, as it would have him think. Scrolls, paintings, and assortment of other objects decorated the heavily Japanese-style room. Light flooded his vision as his eyes creaked open. His body ached, he felt as though all his joints were rusty and a soothing, damp cloth rested upon his forehead . After exploring the room, his eyes rested upon the origin, a girl who looked around his age, possibly older, dressed in a fancy kimono. She smiled warmly down on the boy as his eyes held hers for an instant before shifting away. She was the heir of the noble family who ran the mining operation. While she was fully aware of the situation with slavery, it was never a major issue for her. At least until she saw first-hand the fate of someone undeniably from there.

”Can I get you anything?” She asked.

”Fuh…. Fu… oh duh… Food.” The boy responded in a raspy voice, working out the four words. Nodding in response, she quickly got up and ran towards the kitchen. With luck there might still be the left-overs from breakfast or she could have the cooks whip up a quick snack. Meanwhile, the boy gathered enough strength to raise himself into a sitting position. Unsure what to do with the wet cloth, he just held it in his right hand. Looking around the room in detail this time, he found himself almost frowning at its alien nature. It was richly furnished, all the wealth in this room could easily purchase half his district, and filled with strange symbols. His frown deepened as he realized he couldn’t read at all. While it hardly mattered before, in this room, in this house, and in front of that girl it made him feel like some sort of backcountry bumpkin he and his friends from the World of the Living so often made fun of.

The girl returned soon, flanked by two servants. She took the plate of meat buns from one, placed it on the ground, and repeated the same for the tea set, dismissing them afterwards. Immediately the boy’s mouth began to water as the delicious aroma filled his nose. His eyes locked onto the plate with a look bordering crazed desperation as more primal emotions took over. It would be dangerous to deny him, the girl could feel that. He reached out slowly, almost unsurely, and grasped one of the meat buns before snapping back like a cobra. He stuffed it into his mouth and ate the entire thing in two bites. Tears unconsciously streamed down his face while he grabbed another one immediately. The process repeated and the girl finally intervened after he started choking on the fourth one.

”So, what’s your name?” She asked afterwards, pouring tea for both of them. The cup warmed his hands as he mimicked the girl and picked it up both, blowing on the steaming liquid to cool it before taking a still scalding sip. Yet it was still delicious, the food she had brought could only be described as the ambrosia and nectar of the gods. He then set about answering her question, only to realize the answer itself wasn’t as easy to recall as it should be. He frowned; surely he must know his own name! Thinking now though, his name had not been used a single time after his death. His eyebrows scrunched up in deep thought and frustration before it finally hit him after a solid minute of silence.

”John…. John Knowles… Jack Knowles. My name is Jack Knowles.” He finally responded and let out a relieved sigh.

”Jakku Knowlessu?” She sounded out slowly, emphasizing every almost every syllable, ”That sounds Western. Is it okay if I just call you Jakku-kun?”

The boy, Jack, nodded. Then, for the first time in what felt like an eternity, he smiled.

A few years had passed by relatively quickly. While they were happy years, they certainly were not lazy ones. Jack had learned that the girl, Eriza or just Riza, was going to become a Shinigami. Naturally, he decided to follow along with it too, not wanting to be separated from her. They spent most of their time together training and tutoring each other. Riza had managed to teach Jack how to read beyond his very limited knowledge. One of the guards who had found him, the younger one, also trained him in swordplay and general strength and conditioning, some of which Jack passed onto Riza in turn. Working together nearly inseparably, it was hardly a surprise that they both were accepted into the Shinigami Academy on the first try and entered into the top class. After one semester, partially due to her adept abilities and more so her family connections, Riza became a full-fledged Shinigami of the 5th Squad. Jack, on the other hand, had no such convenient connections and managed to complete the full six year course in four years. Due to his strength and growing physical prowess, he was recruited by and joined the 7th Squad after graduation.

“Alright, look here boy, no hard feelings but… you’re in the way.” The voice sneered out as five Shinigami had managed to surround Jack in the training dojo. He couldn’t tell which squad these others had come from, but it wasn’t hard to feel the malice and ill-intent emanating from each one of them. The one who was speaking appeared as a ring leader. They each drew their zanpakutos and slowly began to tighten the circle formation they had taken, cutting off any possible avenue of escape Jack might have taken. After a certain point, one of them, presumably the leader, dropped out of the ring and stood back. That annoying, smug smirk still plastered on his face. While Jack never really looked forward to fighting, he felt the primal urge to wipe that smirk off his face, then his face off his head.

The closest man suddenly charged Jack with a war cry, katana raised. Soon the rest of them joined in. Turning his head left to face his first attacker, Jakku quickly sidestepped the first swing. Lashing out with his right foot, he kicked the heavy training bag he had been using for the last hour towards the next assailant. The man, unable to stop his forward motion slashed at the bag and was rewarded with a face full of sand, temporarily blinding and disorienting him, right before the bag, still riding its own momentum, crashed into him anyways, knocking him down. Jack then faced the next man and rushed to meet him. Getting well within the effective range of his zanpakuto, Jakku began to draw his own. He smashed the pommel of his katana into the man’s solar plexus, knocking the wind out of him painfully, with his right hand. He then released his grip on the handle and sent a backfist into the man’s face before he could recover. The man was sent sprawling face down into the ground and broke his nose on impact.

In the same fluid motion, Jack drew his katana with his left hand to meet the fourth assailant, blocking the strike with a backwards grip. He couldn’t use as much power in that position so he quickly retreated to switch grip, brutally curb stomping the man he had knocked down in the process, knocking him unconscious. Gripping the katana with both hands now, he charged towards the closest man before the other three could close in on him. A quick feint caused the man to throw up his guard too soon as Jakku switched the angle of his strike. His blade cut deep into the man’s right kidney and exited in an upward diagonal slash that skimmed the bottom of his left lung. Blood flooded the man’s lungs as he collapsed, convulsing in pain. The remaining two attackers looked much less confident than before, hesitating to attack.

“You guys are pathetic. And to think you’re supposed to be my retainers.” The leader finally sneered as he raised his own sword. “I didn’t want to dirty my hands with lowborn scum, but I guess there’s no choice.”

“Diverge, Ookinawa!” He swung his zanpakuto in a downward stroke. As he did, five blades appeared to erupt out of his glowing blade. Almost hypnotized by the sword release, Jack quickly smashed aside the first blade that was coming at him into the ceiling, side stepped the second, and watched as the others simply embedded themselves into the wall without coming near him. Jack almost scoffed at how worthless it was. If that was all there was to it, it wouldn’t even matter that Jack had yet to even find his zanpakuto spirit in his inner world.

Some of his scorn seemed to have translated into his reiatsu. His opponent flared in anger for an instant before that perpetual smirk returned to his face. Running towards Jack, he leapt into the air and raised his Shikai, a long sword, into the air.

”Diverge!” He invoked again as the blade began to glow and sent out another five spinning blades with the downward slash. Once again, only two of them came close to striking Jack and he easily blocked the two incoming blades, sending them back the way they had come. The blades whizzed past the man as he dropped onto the dojo floor and charged Jack at high speeds, ditching the long-range sword throwing. His swung horizontally at Jack’s neck, a blow which Jack easily met and knocked aside. Undeterred, the blade returned in a vertical strike. Taking a step towards his enemy, Jack blocked the blade two inches above his head as he prepared to deliver a knee to the man’s solar plexus. A wicked smile broke out on the man’s face.

”Converge.”

The long sword was bathed in a white light again. Suddenly, a whipping sound began to fill the air. Taking a quick glance around the dojo, Jack saw that the previously launched blades were quivering, before they suddenly escaped from whatever they were embedded in and renewed their assault, coming in at one point towards Jack. As they came racing towards him, he thought he heard a noise from behind. Jack quickly tried to disengage as he turned to confirm his fears. The blade that was embedded in the wall behind him whipped towards the point of the long sword. It seemed to spin in slow motion past his face. One of its rotations brought the edge across both of Jack’s eyes as he cried out from the pain and the sudden deprivation of his sight. Still his instincts kicked in as he tried to increase the distance between him and the attacker.

“Hah, see how easily he falls before my power! Boy, do not presume that you even have a chance of defeating a noble. Hado #31: Shakkaho!” Detecting a kido, Jack tried to dive to the right, yet the fringe of the blast still caught him, the concussion wave smashed him into the back wall, eliciting a restrained cry. The man raised his Shikai again and began to bring it down, prepared to end his little match right there. He didn’t worry about the repercussions, after all he was the heir to one of the noble families of Soul Society, Central 46 couldn’t touch him unless there was undeniable proof of his actions and his wealth easily provided him with an alibi. The payoff for it would be sweet though, with this he would be able to marry Eriza and gain control of their mining empire with the head’s blessing. After all, they had been pushing for Jack’s death for a while now. The possibly that a commoner, especially one from such an obscure district, would marry into nobility would be a mortal wound to their pride. Swinging the long sword, its tip touching ten other blades, he prepared to end it.

”Diverge!” With that phrase, the ten blades were hurtled at Jack’s prone body.

Jack’s vision returned to him. Soaking in his surroundings, the unexpected burst of color disoriented him as he glanced at the endless sky. Panning his head from side to side, he saw a sparkling blue ocean that lead to a wall of ice and a mountain in the background. After a moment of confusion, the realization hit him. He had retreated into his inner world.

”Dude! Don’t die on me the moment you find me, bro!” A familiar voice echoed throughout his Inner World. He couldn’t recall who it belonged to, yet he was sure he had heard it before. Turning his head side to side, he finally noticed what looked like a beached narwhal, with an incredibly long horn, near the shore. Running up to it, Jack addressed the narwhal. ”Are you my zanpakuto spirit?”

The narwhal glared at him and began to roll around in the sand. Jack wasn’t really sure how to interpret that. He watched it do that as it went fifty meters and then rolled back to him.

”Come around the side dude! This here’s my buddy Sir Godfrey Amadeus Soussa-Delorax Xavier Richelieu Lawrence Sievenaya Tiberlane XVII.” The voice appeared to be coming from the side of Sir Godfrey Amad….. the narwhal.

”Sir what?” Jack asked, rather confused over the long name, as he moved to the side and noticed the tattoo of a tiki mask right above the narwhal’s fin.

”Don’t worry ‘bout it for now man, I’ll teach it to you later. You’re kind of screwed right now though Broseph. Need a hand?”

Broseph? Yeah, that’d be great.” Jack admitted.

“Gotcha, now you have to remember this next part clearly, got it! I can repeat it but you’re seriously running outta time here.” The talking tattoo informed Jack. A rumbling began to permeate the entire island. Jack didn’t know how he knew, yet he felt a massive buildup of pressure from under the island.

“Okay. Call out…”

Jack, blind, stabbed his zanpakuto into the ground in front of him. His reiatsu erupted outwards explosively, bathing the dojo in red.

“…the name…”

“Erupt…”

The entire island was seriously shaking now. Waves were released from the shoreline and sent to batter the walls of ice in the distant. A cracking sound, like an egg magnified a thousand times, filled the air. Not wanting to break his attention away, Jack didn’t notice the peak of the mountain behind him erupted and was blown skywards by a pillar of lava. The lava didn’t fall back to earth, instead it shoot straight into the sky.

“… Kazan Totem!” In place of the zanpakuto he had impaled into the floor, a giant totem pole had formed, each head crashing down onto the one before it seemingly out of nowhere. Vision flooded his eyes again and it took him a minute to release he was linked directly to his Shikai. Ten blades smashed into the giant pillar that shielded him and he felt dull thuds throughout his own body as a result of the close link. He felt his own buildup of anger fill up the totem pole as each of the three heads opened their eyes and mouth. A massive wave of lava shot out towards the noble, who’s brain didn’t work fast enough to register everything that had occurred. He was engulfed in the lava and he began to scream. The distinct smell of burnt pork filled the air as the man began to burn to death under the torrent of lava.

”He got the master! s**t, run!” The remaining two assailants finally had enough and ran from the destroyed dojo. Once their footsteps disappeared, Jack sealed his sword and began to use it as a cane as he left the dojo. Within a few minutes, he collapsed. Ten minutes later, the Enforcers found him.
