Sitting in the snow Sunokissui sat shivering her tails wrapped around her small form not knowing where she was or who her parents were she sat alone amid the shattered shell of her egg which had been left abandoned in the cold snow. Without her parents there to keep the egg warm is was amazing that she had hatched at all. Crying out in little soft mewling tones she waited for someone anyone to hear her crys.

Cold and alone the kit most likely would not survive for very long in the snow's. She had no way to hunt or get shelter, her own coat was now soaked through to the skin underneath with melted snow. Her cry's began to growl slightly weaker as the cold started to set in. "Help... Please help me, someone anyone help..."

Sunokissui looked up at the larger kitsu holding her, shaking slightly in the hold of the larger one she curled into the hold of the larger kitsu only her eyes showing now as she looked up at him. "Who are you?" she asked in a soft, shy voice not really wanting to move bt she didn't know this large kitsu and she had no idea of if the larger was going to eat her or hurt her. He seemed so nice but you never knew. Looking at the other she let out a soft whine once she was warm wanting to get out of the cold.

She gave another soft whine looking up at the one holding her not only was she still cold but she was hungry as well she had not eaten at all since she had hatched as she was scared of the larger kitsu holding her even though he gave off a friendly aura about him. Letting out a hungry whine she curled in on herself letting only her bright purple eyes peak through the break in her tails. "Do you have food?"

Sunokissui nodded shivering as she moved into the little den the other had made for her. It was slightly warm in there, though not by much, it was enough to keep her warm while the male went to get some food. Looking up at the other she smiled softly at him. "I'll wait here... you will come back right? You wont leave me here like Mommy and daddy did?" that was what she was truly afraid of. She was afraid of being left behind never to see the Kitsu that was being so nice to her. watching the other with wide purple eyes she stared at him hopefully waiting for an answer saying he would be back, and that she wouldn't be left alone.

"You don't mind getting me food? I'm not your baby... Everyone else has left me here." for some reason she had a sort of sense that others had been near her when she was an egg. She didn't know how she knew it but she did. She also knew that her parents had left her egg there it hadn't just gotten lost or dropped. She had been abandoned.

Sunokissui lay curled up on the floor of the little snow cave Shattervein had made for her. Watching the enterance anxiously for his return she curled even closer into herself trying to stay as warm as possible her tails curling protectively around her head and body making her look like a giant bundle of red, purple, and pink fur. Her eye's once again the only part of her that was showing and even then that was just barely. She stuck her head out every now and then to watch for his return, as well as to clear away some of the snow that had started to cover the entrance.

"Shattervein? Are you back yet?" It had been a few minutes and she was starting to get scared all alone in the endless white no one else around. "Shattervein?!" There was a frightened tone to her voice as the den entrance started to get covered by the falling snow that she was now working diligently to keep clear.

She nodded carefully crawling out of then den and over to the berry's. Taking one small bite of one she let out a happy noise starting to eat quickly her little belly getting full. Looking up at the other she smiled the fur around her mouth covered with the sticky berry juice. "Those tasted so good..." She moved closer to him nuzzling him softly. "My name is Sunokissui." It was what she had named herself it fit somehow. She looked up at him a curious look on her face. "Where are we going now?"

She nodded taking a few jumping steps to get to where she was at Shattervein's feet again. "I want to go with you. I don't want to be alone again." She looked up at him happily. Her fur now incredibly fluffy now that all the melted snow had dried from it. She shivered slightly looking up at him, it was cold out here still and she wanted to get somewhere warm.

"How far away is your burrow? It's cold out here." She was also getting a bit tired not that she was going to say anything at the moment, she was just born but it wasn't in her nature to freely admit such things unless it was hunger.She watched him waiting for his answer.

She nodded wanting to be carried as they ran it would get them there faster. Letting out a happy coo at the speed they were going she smiled. that was a new speed she really liked going that fast. Watching the land around them as he ran was fun it seemed to almost blur as he ran and she was quite happy that the other had found her. He was nice to her and brought her food and kept her warm and safe.

He wan't like the others who had passed by her egg and left it there no he wanted to keep her safe. He was kind and safe and would keep her safe.

She nodded looking around but stayed near him not brave enough to wander just yet. She liked him he was nice and brought her to this pretty place. Looking at him she curled up into his side. "I want to stay with you, can I?" She was looking at him closely wanting to see if he was hesitant about it at all. She didn't want to go she liked him he was nice. It looked a bit empty but to the newly hatched kit it was a wonderland. So many things to explore once she had grown a bit and was a bit more brave.

The kit waited, watching him for his answer. Watching every move he made closely to make sure he was was not going to leave. "Or... I can find someone else I don't want to cause you any trouble." She looked back down at the snow letting her tails draw beautiful swirls in the snow.
