In the Name of the Cosmos! News and Prompts!Hello, and welcome to the Order-focused portion of our faction-specific prompt threads! If you are a pure Sailor Senshi, Knight, or guardian cat on the side of good, this thread is where you can find event news and general RP fodder that focuses particularly on your faction or class. Like the other two bulletins you can find here, this page will feature two different types of prompt that you can use in RP: Universal prompts can be used as a basis for a solo or RP at any time, regardless of when they were posted. If you need some quick inspiration or a good reason to explore some of the unique aspects of your faction, then these are meant to be of some help. Event prompts either lead up to or are part of events and metaplot developments. As such, they are only available for a limited amount of time! These bulletins will be regularly updated with new prompts for your characters, so it's a good idea to check back on them once in a while. New event prompts will also be announced in the main thread, however, so do not worry about missing them. If you have any questions about this bulletin, feel free to post here and ask! However, only RP staff can put updates on this thread. If you have an IC announcement of some kind to make, please use the RP Events Bulletin to do so!

Q: Do I have to post prompt responses in this thread, or as a solo/RP in the main guild forum?
A: Responses for any prompts should be posted as solos or RPs in the appropriate subforum for it. If it takes place on a homeworld or Wonder, then it should go in Deep Space.
Q: What about LINKS to my response? Can I post those here?

Recent and Ongoing EventsA mysterious letter (KNIGHT ONLY) It came suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere. The note popped into your hands written in a scrawling handscript and on slightly aged paper. The name and seal of the sender is a foreign one, you can not remember ever having met or heard of such a person. The contents of the letter is all the more cryptic. Dear *insert your knight's name here*,
This correspondence is being sent to confirm your presence at the XXIV Galactic Olympics. The princesses and the many people of the galaxy are looking forward to another splendid show of bravery, strength, intelligence, and skill. Please respond with your acceptance as soon as possible.

Order Faction meeting Messages have gone out and you're cordially invited to a full Order faction meeting! Be there or be... uninformed? I'm talking to you senshi, chibis, knights, and good cats! ----------------------- Past EventsSeason for Giving The city wide winter food drive seems to have drawn some 'extra attention'. Two days after the city began to advertise their philanthropic event anonymous messages began to appear on senshi phones and throughout knightly letters stating: "This food drive is a great idea! Why don't we lend a hand too? Food, toys, clothing, money, whatever you can give to the needy that you think will help. It's about time we paid back all those people whose property we've accidentally damaged, and tis the season to really show you care for your fellow citizens anyway! PS. Who wants to help make the delivery? 'Terrorists' don't come bearing gifts after all!" ------- Information is going through the grapevine. Does your character want to help? Are they going to go with the bare minimum or really go out of their way to help, and if so how so? Does your character think charity is stupid and their attention is better focused on their regular duties? Does your character want to be there for the big gift delivery/publicity stunt? Keep your eyes out for information about how they can join. Season for Giving pt 2! The time has finally come! With the end of year food drive drawing to an end and the celebratory Winter Gala looming it's time for the knights and senshi to gather together and see what they've collected for the city. The cordinates of an abandoned warehouse at the edge of town along with a day for everyone to meet together or simply drop off their haul has been sent out via another anonymous message. If you collected food, clothing, toys, money or whatever over December be sure to bring it. If you've forgotten and still want to throw in some last minute donations this is the place. (This is an ORP for any order senshi, knight, or cat. If you are at all interested in joining the drop off rp at the Winter Gala you MUST post first in this thread, as certain rules apply for the Winter Gala)

Universal Prompts: Sailor SenshiCosmic Curiousity - NEW The night skies seem alive with activity lately. Meteor showers cross the sky, a super moon allows a close peek of the celestial body, and even in the daytime people are treated to a solar eclipse that looks like a ring of fire. The promise of more showers, another eclipse, and the passing of Venus inbetween the Earth and Sun may excite those with astrological interests. But what does it all mean? Is all this activity lately a mere coincidence? Or is the galaxy trying to tell its children something? What's In A Name? Perhaps you’re a newly awakened senshi, or you’ve been studying mythology/astronomy in a recent class, but for whatever reason, you’re become really interested in your senshi name’s meaning or history. This leads you to researching the myths or history attached to your star or planet’s name. As you learn about the earthly significance of your senshi name, you begin to wonder if any of it was really true. In the past, was there a previous senshi (or your past self) that did any of things that was said to have happened? How do you feel about this, could it be true or just bologna? If inclined, your character might even venture to space to see if there’s any truth to be told there. Surprise You’re out for a regular patrol. Everything seems to be going just fine, and there hasn’t yet been any sign of an enemy. Suddenly, you hear/see something nearby (around a corner/in the bushes, etc.). Rushing to investigate, what you end up finding is something that you would have least expected. The item/person/thing should be something your character is not expecting to find while on patrol; it could be anything that will surprise/delight/or horrify. ------------------------- Past PromptsSnow Day! Destiny City has always had it's far share of snow during the winter, but one big storm on top of another in the past week has pretty well buried the city. With over a foot of snow many businesses are closed and people are hunkering down indoors. With not many people running around will you still be patrolling or will you be taking a break of your own? If you do head out how are the extreme elements affecting your patrol? Holiday Cheer The Holiday spirit is starting to take over Destiny City. Carols are playing in the malls, there’s a crisp chill in the air. For some it’s the best time of the year, as the cheerful atmosphere brings back fond memories of the past. For others, it’s just another reason to be irritated. Either way, your senshi feels like visiting their planet (maybe to escape the holiday cheer or just plain feeling nostalgic). While there, your senshi begins to recall some of their own planet’s holidays and traditions. In particular, they have a memory of a holiday that brings about the kind of big changes in atmosphere and attitudes that winter festivities do in Destiny City. No doubt it must have been really important to their past self! How might they have taken part? (In official or personal ways!)

Something about it has been nagging at you over and over. This has led you to spending hours wasting time googling your knight name. Did you learn anything? You might even want to check these facts for yourself. Visit your wonder to see if earthly scholars knew what they were talking about, or if your planet’s wonder is at all similar to the one back on Earth. Surprise! You’re out for a regular patrol. Everything seems to be going just fine, and there hasn’t yet been any sign of an enemy. Suddenly, you hear/see something nearby (around a corner/in the bushes, etc.). Family Ties You are catching up with the more domestic aspects of your life as a civilian... which means you are doing some intensive cleaning around the house, visiting with some relatives or possibly just looking through some old things in an attic or closet out of passing curiosity. Either way, your day takes a sharp and unexpected turn away from the mundane when you come across (or are given) something very interesting. If you are a DESCENDED Knight, then you've uncovered an object with a symbol on it that's very similar, if not identical, to the insignia on your signet ring. You recall or learn from a relative that the insignia has been used amongst family members for a very long time, though they have since forgotten what its origin is. If you are a REINCARNATED Knight, then you have discovered an old belonging of yours that has the insignia from your signet ring drawn somewhere on it. You recall or learn from a relative that you drew or etched this symbol quite often and it has held some sort of special meaning to you since long before you awakened as a Knight. -------------------- Past PromptsSnow Day! Holiday Traditions In spite of the excitement and social obligations that come with the winter holidays (or perhaps because of them?) you find some time to travel to your Wonder. However, your newfound distance from Destiny City fails to chase your thoughts about those festivities away! Soon after your arrival, you are met with a story from a reminiscing ancestor or a memory of your past self about a similar holiday that was celebrated back at their hometown on Earth, and how they dealt with the loss of their beloved tradition upon moving to their assigned post. Did they try to bring the holiday with them in some form and celebrate it with the locals? Or did they stop recognizing it in any way but a private fashion, choosing to see what festivities their new home had to offer them instead?
