Some thought that Howlite viewed the Negaverse, and in fact the world, as a game. In a sense, that was true. However, the blonde athlete took 'games' very seriously. She did not like to lose, and she was a rock-steady teammate. It also meant that she viewed corruptions in the same way one viewed player drafting.
Of course they'd once been your enemy, playing for the other side. They'd done well, and hurt you, and that was the entire reason you wanted them. Now that they were here, what was the point in holding the grudge? It didn't make for an effective team.
For that reason, Captain Howlite had no issues with the Dark Mirror Court, nor the corrupted senshi that filled the ranks of the Negaverse. They all played for the same team, and until that changed, she was in their corner.
That was why she responded so quickly to the summons of Sailor Leto, why she made it a point to be an ambassador to the court, and to let them know that not all of the officers cared about their 'past crimes'.
Now, she leaned against a wall in the darkness, arms crossed as she tracked the approach of a large chaotic aura. Too large for one. Leto had brought a friend, perhaps?

To say that Leto was pissed off at this entire situation was the understatement of the century. And typically in a situation like this, she would stalk off and find the ******** that attacked a teammate of hers and beat the s**t out of him. But not in this case- not with a Negaverse agent. Not when their alliance was already on the rocks on the best of days.
So unlike usual, Leto cooled her temper (well, as much as possible). She was furious, but Ares would be less than impressed if her Vice Captain went around beating on Negaverse agents while she was working so hard to keep the alliance in tact. So instead of hunting Magnetite down, Leto took Remarque out for the evening.
Tonight, however, they would not be fighting Senshi or collecting energy. Tonight they were meeting Howlite. There were not many in the Negaverse that Leto fully trusted, mostly because the majority of the Generals wanted her head on a silver platter.
She hoped more than anything that this was not a planned attack by someone higher up.
Knowing where the majority of mirrors were placed in the city made things easy. Leto grabbed Remarque and pulled him through the mirror to exit into the darkness a few blocks away from where Howlite was waiting. Mirror-walking was so much easier as an Eternal Senshi.
She flashed a grin and raised a hand in a quick wave at Howlite when she approached her, Remarque following closely behind.

Remarque certainly wasn’t going to protest about spending time with Leto; it was a pleasant change of pace to have company while running about the city—particularly moreso when they were just as curious about who he’d run into as he was.
Not exactly well versed with the Negaverse—having met only a few stray agents—it was hard for Remarque to develop a clear opinion of them when he was fond of one agent and rather repulsed by another. His eyes drifted to where Leto was waving, mildly interested in meeting her. It wasn’t that he was jumping to snitch on some agent of Chaos that was a little overprotective of a child that just so happened to be fighting on the wrong side.
Not that Remarque wanted her on his side—Lenka was a little brat and he’d have much rather preferred she just stayed inside and left this battle to people far more capable in fighting in it.
He followed after Leto only a short step or two behind her, not wanting to slow her down or make a bad impression. She was his superior and, while he didn’t like playing tattle-tale, he was grateful she was willing to access her connections so he could find out just who it was that was picking fights with him. It would have been different if he and that overzealous Negaverse agent exchanged names—it wouldn’t have been bugging Remarque to know who he was that had given him such a good whack.
He had assumed he’d have run into the odd, moustached man again in the park, though he hadn’t seen him at all in the days following their initial meeting. Running into Leto—who could ask Howlite for help identifying him—seemed like better luck than actually running into the man since it seemed like the perfect opportunity to scrape together more information about him without having to worry about bumping heads again.

"Leto, my love, power suits you." Howlite's greeting was nothing short of warm congratulations, a gloved hand reaching out to grip the eternal's forearm in the shake specific to of a comrade-in-arms. Her dark eyes shifted past Leto to find the blonde male behind her, and the lanky young woman's smile didn't falter as she reached out to greet him, as well.
"You must be Remarque. A pleasure." To say she was diplomatic was an understatement. Communication between the Negaverse and their DMC allies was not as easy, or streamlined, as communications within the factions themselves, and so, she wasn't quite sure of the details of their meeting. The texts she'd recieved to her disposable phone had, out of necessity, been vague.
"I assume we're not here to have coffee and discuss the latest episode of Glee," Howlite smirked, "So, please, come in." Her chin tilted toward a nearby doorway, stepping in front of them and turning the knob. It led into a small office of a warehouse, the goods of which were undecipherable. Gesturing to the few chairs in the room, the blonde girl winked at Remarque. "Shut the door behind you, hmm?"
Taking a seat, the captain seemed relatively at ease, despite being alone with two Dark Mirror senshi, her smile losing some of its wattage as she became more direct. "How can I help y'all, tonight?"

Leto took Howlite's arm with her own hand with a wide grin. "Thanks, I'm particularly fond of the giant wings plastered to my a**."
Okay, so she wasn't quite as diplomatic and professional as her Negaverse friend. That was something Leto would have to work on- this Vice Captain was a work in progress, damnit.
She stepped in after Howlite and immediately took a seat in one of the chairs inside of the office, taking a quick look around herself. As a first stage Senshi, she would have sat cross-legged in the chair, but now as she was painfully aware of how much shorter her skirt was (when she was once blessed by the Cosmos with shorts instead) she carefully crossed one leg over the other and folded her hands in her lap.
While Remarque and Howlite situated themselves, Leto wasted no time. "My comrade here was attacked by one of you in the park. Ideally I'd like to know if you've heard anything about an attack on the Dark Mirror Court, if anything was planned... I know they're your people and I don't expect you to rat anyone out, especially not if you've all decided that we're the enemy... But if someone on your side is ******** with us and no one knows about it or ordered it to happen, something is wrong."
Her right hand moved to fiddle with the bracer on her opposite wrist, a nervous habit she had developed. "I don't want to have to hunt down a Negaverse Agent."

It wasn’t that Remarque felt particularly out of place in the setting—though, he did, a bit—but rather that he felt very much like a dirty little snitch with the way that Leto was presenting the situation. He didn’t feel helpless or inadequate when that Negaverse agent had attacked him, and while a part of him regretted having brought it up to Leto, he reasoned that this wasn’t him playing tattle-tail, this was merely him collecting information.
He had taken a seat in a chair and threw his arm over the back of it to make himself comfortable. “I don’t think it was some sort of malicious planned attack,” Remarque interjected. “He was just pissed that there was a chibi involved. And, don’t get me wrong. She started it. I have better things to do than pick on little girls, but this guy just kind of freaked out on me for basically. He didn’t seem like he was that important. Wasn’t that strong either, just, you know.” He shrugged indifferently. “Really likes little girls or something.”

"I'll assume by 'one of you' you mean 'Negaverse Officer,'" Howlite mused, settling back into her chair until it rested only on it's back two legs. She was quiet during the rest of Leto's comments, her dark eyes drifting over to Remarque only once he began to speak, interjecting an explanation.
There was a moment of silence, afterwards, before the blonde sat up, letting the chair drop down to the concrete floor, and propped her elbows on the small table before her. "I don't count anyone attacking my allies without sanction as one of 'my people', Leto."
Her tone, and her choice of words, made it clear that the officer in question was not acting on behalf of the Negaverse. "If we decide that we no longer wish to work with your court, you can be damn sure that you won't find out by some thick-skulled lieutenant attacking one of your recruits." She grinned then, releasing some of the tension in the room, and turned her attention back to Remarque.
"If they're powered up for Order, and they interfere with our activities, they're our enemies. I don't particularly care how old they are." One shoulder lifted in a shrug as she dismissed any concerns that she might care about the wellbeing of a chibi senshi.
"Would you describe him for me, please? The name of the senshi would also be useful." Her lingering smile wasn't as kind, as she considered what Zinkenite might have to say, later. "We can't have the poor man running around, unsure of whom, exactly, he should be fighting, now can we? Best to... Set him straight."

She only nodded when Howlite asked if she meant a Negaverse Officer- she didn't mean any offense by the way she said it, so she hoped the other girl didn't take it that way. Nor was she trying to make Remarque feel like a snitch. Clearly she wasn't very good at this being-professional s**t. Maybe it was time for her to reconsider how she wanted to approach being Vice Captain. Leto couldn't help but laugh when Howlite grinned. The Negaverse Captain definitely had a point- if there was a planned attack on the Dark Mirror Court, she was sure that Remarque wouldn't be their first target, nor would they have some newbie doing it. "You're right. Which means someone recruited a man who is defending Order. Which... As far as I'm concerned, is a little counter-productive." She leaned back into her own chair now, her arms crossed over her chest. "The Senshi is Lenka, of Watermelons. I believe a few of us have had encounters with her now, so it's safe to say that she has no qualms with confronting us." When Howlite asked for a description of the Negaverse Lieutenant, Leto simply looked at Remarque for that answer.

Remarque’s eyes drifted to Leto; he hadn’t been aware that Lenka was so ambitious to have engaged a few of the other Dark Mirror Senshi. For a while it had bothered her that he was ‘picking on some little girl’ but, hell. If she was off getting in fights with the others, served her right whatever happened to her.
He had crossed one leg over the other and sat, drumming his fingers on his knees as he tried to recollect the what he could of the man. He then focused his eyes drifted to the ceiling as if that was going to refresh his memory. “Taller, older if I had to guess. Blonde, no really distinguishing features other than a moustache. He was fighting with some dinky sword but seemed to know what he was doing with it. Dressed like, I don’t know, Union soldier. Looks like you could have pulled him from a history book. I asked for his name, but he was pretty adamant about keeping it to himself.”
