Natural Ability: Intangibility - Poes can, with practice, cause their bodies to become almost completely incorporeal for short amounts of time.
Personality: Trill is always sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. She's a curious type, always looking for people to bother, and occasionally play a trick on. If its not fun, she'll lose interest quickly and move onto the next thing. In this way, she's not very tenacious. She quickly picks things up and then forgets about them completely.
She's a bit of a trickster, and no one is safe, not even close friends. When it comes to pranks, she doesn't mean it out of harm, its just her favorite form of entertainment. Sneaking around and lurking in the shadows is what she does best!
Regardless, Trill is actually quite smart. Trill is quick to catch onto things, and her study habits aren’t too bad either. Being a ghost sometimes hinders her “street” smarts, but if you take the time to mention it, she’ll pick it up pretty quickly. In a more specific sense, Trill picks up things best by doing; things like labs or writing notes down make learning easier for her than reading a textbook does.
Bridging on that, Trill loves puzzles. Crossword puzzles, wordsearches, funny riddles, she loves it all. Especially ones with a timer that make no sense at all so you have to look up a walkthrough and even that doesn't make sense so you just turn the game off. The walls of her dorm are just covered in odd writings that can be interpreted as notes from when she’s trying to solve the puzzles. She even has a special pack of chalk just for doing so! Don’t be surprised if she asks you for an answer to a crossword, or another word for “exhilarating.”
Part of it has to do with a sort of hand fixation habit. Trill really likes having something to fiddle with, whether it be a puzzle or a small car, a candy wrapper, anything. It calms her to have things to move in her hands, and she can often be seen tugging on the edge of her own cloak (that’s part of why its so tattered). Sometimes, she doesn’t even notice that she’s doing it!
Just some extra quirks you may like to know about;
- She prefers to float, not walk around campus most of the time. Who needs the ground anyways?
- Her room is filled with bottles and cages, and that’s about it. Who knows why. There is one bottle labeled "bed," though.
- The sound of horses neighing, or horse hooves clopping freaks the Jack out of her, but she doesn’t know why.
- Trill is incredibly frugal with money. She doesn't spend much and tries to penny pinch whenever possible.
- Graveyards are her favorite place in the whole world, but then, a lot of ghosts like them.
- She can write in Hylian.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
Hanging out in the ghost junkyard gets pretty darn boring. After staying in the junkyard for a while and establishing a "home" for herself (really just a shanty lean-to made out of some sheets of metal she found), she decided that was boring and it was time to move on. She has a bit of a wanderlust, you see, and although her home is fine and dandy, she needed to see more than just the junkyard day after day! So she enrolled to gain her passport, become scarier, and see more of the world.
FEAR Ability: Mechanic: Battle Cry
Trill spins in a circle with her trusty lantern, smacking into anything else along the way. It's a little risky though because have you tried hitting things when you're spinning? Not really the best aim.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Orange, with yellow accents, and permanently crescented. One of them is glowing red (based on the poe collector).
Hair Colour/Style: FOR HER ART she should have her hood up no matter what, but for reference her hairstyle is something like Chie's, but a tad longer. Should be the same black shade as her skin.
Skin Colour: Pitch black.
Clothing Style/Colours: A sort of shawl-hood, and purple dress (just below the hips), both tattered. A lantern hangs from her right side on a rope-belt around her waist. Can have stitches anywhere like the twilight princess poes.
Lantern should vaguely follow these designs, but up to artist~: OOT, OOT2, TP, TP2, WW
No shoes or any sort of arm decorations to speak of.
Extra: Her teeth art pointed, jagged things. Artist's choice if they're visible or not
Her hands have sharp, claw-like finger nails.
She’s a bit short, not abnormally so though. Maybe a tad on the pudgy side.
She also has a sort of wood cookie accessory dangling from her waist carved with Din's symbol.

How Trill got to Halloween:
Trill was created from a concentration of ill-will. A person wished bad intentions so vehemently upon someone that at the time of their death, it concentrated into Trill. Of course, Trill doesn't remember any of this- she's simply a ghost with a penchant for troublemaking.
Not really knowing what to do with herself, Trill wandered to the infamous ghost junkyard. While others built up houses for themselves, Trill just crated a shanty shack for herself on the edge of the graveyard, with the help of some of the other junkyard community members. The "house" is mostly compromised of scrap boards and metal. There is no light to speak of inside, and the outside is just barely lit by a single hanging lantern. There is a small sign next to her house that says "Trill's House." She thought it a fitting label.
The inside looks roughly like this, but much smaller, and much less barren. Inside the lean-to is an amassing of all her little trinkets and treasures from the junkyard that she either found or traded/bought at the ghost marketplace. She spent most of her days hunting for this treasure and putting it in chests, and making a little "house" for herself.
How Trill Got to Amityville:
Well growing bored of her house, she locked it up, and threw the key in a chest who-knows-where. Wandering around for a while, she eventually learned of the infamous school called "Amityville High School" and immediately decided she wanted to attend.
