I can't have long nails for work so I tend to paint the toenails instead...which reminds me...I am due for a pedicure.

I'm not supposed to have painted nails at work but I haven't been told off yet. My toe nails are deep blue with actual glitter on top on the tips. I found this really fine glitter at Walmart for $5 bucks and it's the same grain of glitter they use at nail shops but costs about 80% less. I'm trying to be all creative with my toes. Since that polish stays on way longer.

I am so not a nail polish girl
Firstly my nails are ALWAYS dirty. always. looking at them right now, yep, bunch of unknown crud under my nails. i always keep them short but I guess I just grab at everything with my fingernails without realizing.
also for this reason it only lasts about a day or two before it's all scraped at the tips

I LOVE THIS IDEA
My nails look awful pretty soon after I paint them, but I looooove painting them. I dislike painting my toenails because I don't like showing people my toes, even if polish on them usually lasts longer.
But here's a picture of my nails from a few weeks ago:
Right now my nails are burgundy and my toes are pale gold.

I used to be an avid nail biter but post-braces I was cured from my unsanitary ways!
I recently switched to Essie nail polish cos I loves it and the quality is noticeably better than the cheaper $2-3 ones I used to buy. It's like 7$ a bottle but I think its definitely worth to buy a few a month. Especially if you go to Harmons and you have coupons to take advantage of!

I bit my nails while I had braces. It was hard, but eventually I figured out how. XD

I don't like the way my nails look without polish (only because it seems plain and boring to me, though I couldn't care less if other people don't paint theirs) but I pretty much only have them done at salons because I can't paint my own for the life of me, not even my left hand (since I'm right-handed) it all looks the same: bad.
Also while I like having them painted, I don't like any of the fancy stuff, like fake nails or acryllic or whatever? No thank you, I just want a color (or even a design is fine) but nothing along the lines of fake nails, nothing too long. I just always have my natural, real nails and color, and any kind of stuff to keep the polish on longer is fine. I've never tried them but those things where you actually just stick the design on (but it's not a fake nail) look cool.

Undecidability
Right now my nails are burgundy and my toes are pale gold.^5, my toes are pale gold too! My fingers were for thanksgiving but I took that off and did them hot pink with a silver crackle top coat. THEY LOOK AWESOME.
