Roll an Eight: City Streets Field: Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road are sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there. Fake building walls, complete with broken glass windows and grime lining the surface, limit the amount of maneuverable space on land. Trash cans and trash bags decorate the street. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air which, unfortunately, helps spread the horrible stench of the trash. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to POISON type attacks.

As soon as Oki was healed up from his last battle, he trotted off to look for a new one. It was a wonderful thing, having a trainer who could heal your wounds. And he was glad she was at least willing to keep healing him, even if she didn't really like battling as much as he did.
He walked into the first empty stadium he found and initially thought he'd ended up outside somehow. It looked a lot like a city street, though a very broken and abandoned one. Then he noticed the stadium walls that were still all around and realized this was one of those strange stadiums that looked like someplace else. He'd liked the forest one, but wasn't sure about this one. He looked around while he waited for an opponent to show up.

Recently back from the pokecenter herself, Syt walked onto the field with Orchid on her shoulder. Letting her rattata down she ran to the middle of the street like field, chattering her teeth. Syt moved towards the trainers box as she eyed up her opponent. A Zoura huh? Should be interesting.

Stepping onto her spot on the podium, she pointed towards her pokemon before she called her attack. "Orchid, use Rock Smash!"
Her pokemon ran forward, using her tail to flick a large rock towards her opponent

It wasn't until his newest opponent, a Ratatta, was on the field that Oki realized he'd forgotten to use his Illusion ability to disguise himself as another pokemon. Oh well, too late now. He jumped out of the way of the attack in time, then began clawing at the ground like a cat sharpening its claws, since he decided Hone Claws would be a useful opener.

Her aim must have been off, since the Zorua seemed to dodge it easily. Keeping a careful eye on the pokemon, she lobbed another rock towards the fox pokemon

Oki wasn't about to dodge out of the way this time and was slammed by the attack. He growled, then the stench of garbage in the arena gave him an idea. He reared back and took a deep breath, then with a heave he spat a thick glob of Toxic muck at the Ratatta.

The feel of being poisoned was not fun, not at all. She felt it course through her. Trying to shake it off, she ran to gain some distance before throwing another rock.

Did this rat have poor aim, or was Oki particularly nimble today? Either way, he dodged this attack quite easily. Then with an overly casual yawn, he started sharpening his claws on the stony ground again, except in a leisurely manner as if he had all the time in the world to use Hone Claws to his heart's content.

Attacks didnt seem to be working, so Syt tried another tactic.
"Orchid, use attract!" Orchid chattered her teeth, moving closer to the Zorua, batting her eyelashes and walkng sideways towards him.

Oki watched the Rattata carefully, and slowly realized that her movement were rather enchanting. She was quite pretty really, and he was suddenly reluctant to hurt her. But He had to keep trying. He took aim and spat another Toxic blob at her, but he wasn't as careful with his aim as he might have been.

Being able to doge this toxic attack, she jumped back a good distance, scratching at the ground with her paws as she began to work herself up to continue the fight.
