The days were getting chilly, but it didn't matter to her. She loved the cold air. The brown and teal lioness was running around the pride in an almost frantic manner. Gowe was gathering up various herbs, rocks, anything she could get her paws on to addd to her collection so she could make things. Her bag about her neck was full to the brim with her findings and yet she was making more. She really wanted to make all the expecting couples, or couples who've had cubs somethhing nice and special instead of just giving them her best wishes.

Light blue eyes gazed around as she loked for more pretty bird feathers. They were common in the pride, but she only liked specific ones. "Hmmm...."

Azrael carried the bright blue bird in his maw, having caught it for a quick snack, he didn't expect to need to share with anyone besides Rashida. Castiel and his siblings were at home, safe in their den, fed and being watched by the oldest boy. Castiel would likely stare at them to make sure htey were safe, and so he was likely the only baby sitter that would give them that much attention.
The bird had been a fluke. Azrael had tried to catch a zebra calf, but he had faltered on that. The next best thing had been what he had seen next. The bright blue and white bird that had been preening next to the watering hole.

Rashida smiled when she saw him approaching with the bird in his jaws. Her belly rumbled, but she knew the bird would do little to satisfy her hunger. Still though. It was something, and it gave her the added energy she needed to hunt something down for her babies that were waiting for her within the comfort of her den.
"It's very pretty." She said softly, as he dropped it at her paws. The scent of blood hit the air, and she lowered her maw, to start tearing the feathers off the bird.

Gowe had spotted the male carrying a pretty blue bird in his mouth and whined. That's the kind of feathers she really liked! Maybe if she followed him he'd give her the tail feathers.. It was worth a shot. So the lioness wiggled a bit as she tried to catch up to him and then binked when he gave it to a female. That must mean he had a mate. Well, she wasn't trying to get a mate, she was trying to get a few feathers, so she wasn't disappointed. But when she started ripping off the feathers, Gowe squeaked.

"Wait, stop! Don't tear the feathers!" She raced up to them and stopped just a couple feet away, staring at them. "Can I take the tail feathers? Please?"

Azrael hadn't even had time tog et defensive of his mate with the running girl coming towards him. It had surprised him more than anything, and he backed up with wide, confused eyes. She didn't seem to be a threat, and so he just stood beside Rashida protectively.
Rashida smiled, and nodded. She was caught off guard as Azrael, but she was more than happy to give such a sweet, polite female what she was asking for.
"Why of course you can have the tail feathers. They are yours, my dear. But.. I'm curious." She smiled. "What are you using them for?" Rashida's voice was soft, and there was just that tinge of sadness. But Rashida was learning to move on with the loss of her children. She had to..

"Yes, that is a very good question." Azrael said, looking at the female as if she was odd. One warning gaze from Rashida, and Azrael nodded. He could behave, he would behave.. But it was odd to him, of course he had never had any past times.

Gowe hesitated at the protective stance the male took and her ears went against her head. Likcing her lips she gave a small nervous laugh and rubbed her face with her paw. "I'm sorry for being rude. I'm Gowe. Gowe Galvquodi from the Wolf clan.. I'm collecting things to make for the new or expecting mothers..." She gave a tiny laugh and sat down on her haunches before looking at the two.

"I've seen you before, haven't I? You two look familiar..." she tilted her head and looked them over, slightly confused.

Rashida smiled. "Well we are from the sky clan, but you might have. We had a rather large litter not long ago.. Er.." She frowned. "Well they're almost adolescents, geting bigger each day." She tried not to look sad, she tried so hard, but it was near impossible.
"How pleasant of you!" She said though, a small smile creeping on to her features. "Im sure those mothers would like it a great deal."

Azrael didn't mention that he was wanting more cubs. He didn't meantion that he wanted to replace that void in his mates heart as best he could. He felt awful even thinking it but he knew it was in the back of his mind. He felt the tightness in his chest, but he smiled as best he could. He wasn't happy, he wasn't sad. He was merely...living.

"Well, I try to make things for everyone in the pride. I'm no professional crafter or anything, but I do it when I'm not out hunting.." She laughed a little and watched the two, trying to remember. "I remember now! I welcomed you into the pride when I was a cub!" Gowe giggled and got to her paws, geting really excited about finally knowing someone outside of her clan. "Remember me? I mean.... I was little and I didn't have as many tattoos, but... Maybe?" She gave a hopeful look and bit down on her bottom lip. She really hoped they remembered her.

"I can make something extra special for you two. I remember mom's face when we turned that age... She didn't like us all leaving and she was really sad..."

Rashida thought of when they had joined, and slowly a smile spread across her features. She remembered that sweet, playful little cub that had welcomed them home. She had been such a comfort.
"Ah, yes. I remember you well now that I think of it. You have grown." She said, a smile on her features for the first time since she had lost her boys.

Azrael shrugged, looking away and obviously trying not to conversate much. He was still a bitter man, getting even more bitter as time went on. It was like a curse, to live as he was, yet still he did just to make sure that Rashida and his remaining cubs were okay.

"I.. I would like that very much, Gowe. I'm sure Azrael would too. We don't get gifted many things besides your occasional field mouse from Ani." She grinned. Looking to Azrael, and with her eyes prompting, he nodded.
"Yeah. That wuold be great."

Gowe laughed and nodded a bit, jumping around excitedly like she did when she was a cub. They remembered! She was so glad that they remembered her! "I was wondering how you two were settling in! I'm so glad to see you again! I'll come visit all the time now that I know where you two are." No, she knew nothing of personal boundries. So she came and sat beside the other female and actually nuzzled into her affectionately. Gowe loved phyisical affection, it didn't honestly matter who from.

"So.... I'll make you both something realy good. It might take a while because I want it to be my best work." She gave them both a toothy grin and stayed right where she was..

Rashida smiled softly. "Yes, yes we settled in well. We even bore quite a few cubs though..Though two of them have wandered off and are now in the roguelands somewhere. They got lost, you see. If it weren't for our son being a seer we wouldn't know they lived." She said, hoping to give a little insight to how their lives were at the moment. The boys had been gone long enough to where the pain..The pains hould have faded, but yet it didnt.
Azrael wasn't comfortable with the nuzzle from the lioness to his mate, but he let it go with a sigh. He had to loosen up.. He couldn't lose his mate too.

"You are so kind. I cannot wait to see it." Rashida smiled.

A frown came to her lips as she heard the story and her brows knit. That's why she didn't leave the pride; she was afraid of getting lost and sperated from her family. Sighing heavily she got up straight and took the feathers and pushed them carefully into her bag. "Well..." She said, looking at the two again. "I'll come back tomorrow and we can talk a lot more, but I need to get started on these gifts!" She laughed and bounced a bit before walking back to her original spot.

"So, until tomorrow, stay safe, alright? I'll bring a zebra to eat tomorrow!"
