The Stadium
With no randomized specialty in place, the stadium is a Plain Stage, with two platforms on either side for the opposing trainers to shout their commands. Between the platforms, the concrete stadium sat, ready and waiting for the next battle to commence.

The 15 year old trainer strolled the hall ways with his Entei beside him as if it was a normal thing to do. After all, most trainers these days at least had one pokemon by there side, why was this so weird? Well, when it was a legendary standing beside someone so young, it was considered weird. Not to mention half of the people just thought he was trying to gloat about having such a rare pokemon, while the most of the oher half were too afraid to battle him. Even if he was young, the Entei was not young, and still held quite the powerful aura about him.
Natsu didn't care though, he wanted to fight trainers that were brave enough to face him and his pokemon, and wanted to honestly just train. Just like he had came here to do. He didn't plan on using the legendary anyways, unless of course Ozai wished it. They were friends, Entei was more like a protector then anything, and stayed by his side at will. It helped that Natsu wouldn't even dare drag him back into his pokeball unless it was for good reasoning.
But enough about Him and Entei, today was about Natsu training his now fully recovered Torchic, Enkou. Natsu took the red & white pokeball from his belt and held it up with much confident as he studied the little ball. " Alright, little flame. It's time to show everyone what your made of.". Surely, this was just practice so rather he lost or won it didn't matter, but he sure hoped that they would put up a good fight. He entered the stadium grounds and looked around, wondering when another trainer would appear.
Ozai stood only a few feet behind his trainer, wanting to watch the battle and study Natsu's behavior. If the young boy were to make mistaes, Ozai would catch it and make sure to turtor him later on what to do next time. After all, the boy was still young, someone needed to be teaching him. Who was better to teach then another pokemon?

((Feel free to just RNG after my post instead of typing up a new response. (Since I'm assuming you meant to roll before as you did with Sango's. XD) ovo))
Genesis raised her brows when she caught sight of her opponent, noting the large Entei taking up most of his trainer platform. For a moment, she wondered if he intended to battle with the fiery legendary, and was about to signal her Lucario, Erebos, to enter, but then a flash of white appeared and, after a few squints and intense staring, she realized the trainer had released a Torchic instead. Oh. Okay.
"All right, Leto; you're up," she said quietly enough for only her to hear before throwing her own ball to the ground.
When Leto ran to the field, she waved at the other trainer, both in greeting and as an attention-grabber. "Hey, there! Ready?"
Leto cocked her head as she entered the field, sensing the presence of a powerful being from her opponent's direction. She soon caught sight of the Entei, but before she could form any concrete thoughts about him, her paws rubbed themselves gently on the plain floor and she was instantly distracted.
Where was the grass?! she wondered, trying to tug at the invisible blades she saw in her mind's eye. The ice? The graveyards? What kind of field was this?!
Of course, she had battled in a plain field before, but she had, by this point, completely forgotten about it.

The young suddenly noticed another trainer entering the field, a girl no less. She had a small little Rattata on her, who'm she sent out to attack against his metal legged Torchic. This seemed like it might be an easy battle, but the pokemon seem a bit better trained in the art of battling. So.... We shall see." I wouldn't be here if I weren't ready." Natsu called back, looking down at Enkou who'm also seemed at the ready.
"Go ahead, we'll let you have the first attack. Ladies first after all!" Rather he was mocking her, challenging her, or just being a polite young couldn't be read in his voice. After all, his voice was actually quite monotone for such a young boy.

When Genesis heard an affirmative to her previous response, she nodded in acknowledgement. ignoring the rest of the implications. She was here to battle, not chit-chat.
"I'm leaving this to you," she directed towards her Rattata.
Leto spent a while longer furiously sniffing at the field, searching for signs of anything one would normally find in the wild -- grass, dirt, air... Air! AIR! Could she breathe?!
After she had desperately inhaled a few times to ensure she was, in fact, breathing, she calmed. And just in time, too. When Genesis spoke, she gave a brief flick of her tail to show she heard and understood before she dashed forward and attempted to poison the foe with Toxic.

The Black torchic's feathers fluffed up in surprise, before tripping itself to the side and, barely, out of the way. Thank goodness for the metal leg. But now it, was its turn.Quickly picking itself back up, it now turned towards it's opponent and let out a flame thrower from its throat.
The young trainer watched the two, waiting to see what would happen next. It seemed as if this trainer and her pokemon were actually quite in tune with each other.

Leto gave a shrill squeak when she was hit, the move singeing one of her whiskers. She touched the blackened end mournfully before attempting another Toxic with renewed vigor.

Torchic was able to move out of the way again. Few! The only thing saving this torchic was the ability to trip away from his opponent. It moved in again for another flamethrower.

Leto threw another burst of toxic towards the flame, the result of which was steamy poison in her face. Coughing and closing her eyes from the tear-inducing mess, she waved a paw as if to attempt to ward it away before throwing out another Toxic.

Enkou turned, almost getting away but not quite... Wait? Looking down, the Torchic realized that the other had only hit it's leg, and the metal one at that. The torchic sighed in relief, before turning again to make another attack. It'd try another method this time, another flame thrower, but this one was different. It was a quick flame, rather then a large one, hoping to hit the opponent rather then do over time damage.

((I fear we've a battle of misses on our hands. XD))
Leto felt the heat long before the flamethrower was within reach. She was glad for the warning, for it allowed her ample time to dodge, and she aimed another Toxic once she was safe, glad to have escaped the burning pain this time around.

The Torchic was finally hit, this time the toxic his other leg a bit, causing him to feel the effects of poison. This wouldn't stop the little chicken though! This time, Enkou decided to use something from the bird inside of him. it ran towards the Rattata as fast it could, then jumped, trying to land an Aerial Ace on the other.

((Fff nooo why would you guys do this to us?! >8C Are they fighting?! IS YOURS JEALOUS OF THE EYEBROWS THAT HATH GRACED THE UPPER-EYES OF MY TOY?! -killed-))
This time, Leto was unable to dodge the move, and she let out a shrill chatter when she was struck. A gash now decorated her side, but it wasn't so bad that she would be unable to fight.
Shaking herself, she let loose a Toxic once again.
