Rolled a Four: Water Field: Five large platforms float on the surface of the deep pool. Four form a diamond formation around the single platform in the center. While land pokemon can move around on this field, it is mainly built for water-types. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to WATER type attacks.

Genesis sighed. She didn't think she'd be here again, facing the same trainer. And yet, here she was. Her opponent's adamant desire to win was admirable, really, but it bothered her how close the trainer had gotten to the rental in such a short amount of time. She herself was the opposite -- lacking empathy, she measured worth on what she could gain in terms of the physical -- strength, wealth, etc. -- not the emotional. Perhaps that was why she found herself accepting the girl's request, and she let our her Rattata once more.
"Try to lose this time," she muttered sarcastically under her breath, pushing in the random number generator to see who'd go first.
Leto leapt onto a platform, the action acrobatic and graceful. Until she tripped, rolled, and fell into the water.
Spluttering, she dragged herself out and shook the droplets from her fur before eying the now-familiar Rattata.

"Water...that's new. Ok Rattata, I don't really care if we win this time. I just want us to hold our own and prove to our self that we have become strong trainers....but a win wouldn't hurt." She chuckled and scratched the rat pokemon behind the ear. She had grown attached to this little guy, maybe too attached. She knew their partnership would be ending with the end of the battle marathon event the stadium was having. So maybe that's why she didn't care about the win so much this time. She just wanted more time with him.
The Rattata chirped with the pat then jumped onto the platform. He noticed the female he battled before and nodded his head at her. Then she fell in, he ran over to help her out of the water not thinking to it might look like he was trying to attack early.

Leto had already picked herself out by then, so when the Rattata approached her so suddenly, she stood stock still, leaning comically far away from the other and staring down at him from her position.
When nothing happened after a moment, she whapped him with her tail again, reminiscing on the first time they had met.

He stood watching the sopping wet pokemon. Maybe she didn't need his head *whack* "Taaaata" Rattata shook his head and rubbed the spot she hit him. He then returned the favor.

Leto twitched her whiskers when she was struck, using her forepaws to rub her cheeks self-encouragingly. When she felt herself ready, she suddenly opened her mouth and tried Toxic.

Rattata tried to shake it off, it was so gross, why did she do that, he just wanted to see if she was ok then this!? He felt something rise in his throat and then. He spewed his own toxic....as an in the moment thought he tried to aim it at her.

Leto dodge the batch of poison and leapt to another platform, hissing shrilly. When she thought herself safe, she taunted the male, wiggling his tongue at him between her teeth.

Rattata growled, this chick was messed and he was about to mess with her. He leap to her platform, paw glowing aiming to take that smile off her face.

Woop! Leto dodged the move quickly, scampering to another platform momentarily for some safety. Before she could put more distance between them, however, she turned quite suddenly and leapt back, her own Rock Smash at the ready.

Leto wasn't as quick to dodge this time. She skirted back from the blow, and a paw dangerously immersed itself in water as she was nearly forced off the platform. Shaking her paw to express her disdain, she struck back with a Rock Smash, as well.

Arceus, that hit had hurt! Thankfully, the attack had pushed Leto down, not sideways, and she still maintained her footing on the platform. Stretching a little to ease her tensed muscles, she tried Rock Smash once again.
