 Laeh practically danced down the track. This was quite possibly going to be the greatest adventure of her life. The greatest find. The greatest knowledge. They would tell stories of her finds.
She'd heard rumors of a great soquili living in these forests. Powerful, beautiful and with all the knowledge one could hold. Laeh was going to pick its brain raw. She'd already thought of a possible hundred questions and more were sprouting as she walked.
Yes, today was a glorious day for explorers.

 She's still not certed. Here's teepee link for ease! XAlma was standing in the forest, waiting. She'd heard tale that the traders who'd kept her and her family in slavery came on this deserted path from time to time. So she'd set a trap for them, in hopes that she could capture and find vengeance. Much to her chagrin, it was not the slave traders that stumbled into her path but rather bright little pink putti. There she went, stepped right into the trap. Up, up, up the little body went. Was she...squeeing in delight? Oh great...

Laeh felt a tug and then all at once she was in the air, upside down in a net. Her eyes widened, in excitement rather than fear. Maybe she was going to meet another species of soq. Maybe it was pirates. She squeed with excitement and wiggled around so she could look below her.
"Hurry up and come capture me, then! We don't have all day!" She eyed the bushes around, trying to spy who it was that was coming to get her.

For a few minutes, Alma considered leaving the hyper little thing there. She'd rather not get close to the annoying little...
But even though she wasn't particularly kind, she shouldn't let this little putti stay up there and starve to death either. So with a heavy heart, she made her way over to the rope. With a few sawing motions with the little knife she carried, she delighted as the net fell--Putti and all on the ground.
"Get going," she snarls.

Laeh landed with a thud and quickly jumped up, still tangled in the net. "You're not a pirate, are you?" She sounded like her whole world had been shattered. "If you're not a pirate why the heck are you setting up traps? Do you have any others I can play with?"
Laeh wiggled excitedly, looking at the Imp. "Did you come across with the other imps or later? I came later because I was on an adventure. Boy was I surprised when I came back and everyone was gone."
A grin spread across Laeh's features. "Name's Laeh. Explorer, adventurer, studier of these new lands."

"Yeah, no," Alma said. "We're not doing this. I have some very important trapping to do. So go away or I'll bite you!" She snapped her teeth menacingly. Really...of all the things she had to trap?

"Doing what? It seems like we're already doing something." Laeh leaned forward, staring at her. "Your teeth are real sharp. A bird bit me once. Right on my snout. You wouldn't think they could, but get close to their nests and they'll show you they can. I wasn't stealing her eggs, I was just trying to get a better view."
Her head tilted to the side. "Important trappings? Who are you trying to trap? You're weird."

Alma sighed. Really? She had to capture the most annoying thing in the existence of like...EVER? How was she ever going to capture the ones that had made her family suffer. "Why do I care what bit you before? I'm going to bite you if you don't shut up and go away. You're going to ruin my life's work."
Alma shot a spark out at Laeh. "Now go away, you're annoying me...Imagine I'm the bird fixing to peck your eyes out for bothering me."

"Life's work? You spent your whole life making that trap? It was pretty good, I guess." Laeh eyed Alma with an eyebrow raised. "Imagine you're a bird? How can I do that when you don't have any feathers. OR a beak. And your wings are all.. leathery. You're more like a bat."
Laeh's eyes widened and she grinned cheekily. "Could you perhaps be a vampire?"

Alma stomped her foot, "If I said yes would you run away in fear?"
Really, she hadn't thought obnoxiousness could even reach this level. She gathered up her netting while mumbling to herself. "Can you get off my net?"
She needed to re-rig it and get this trap going to try to catch someone more profitable.
The other mare hadn't moved it seemed, "Why don't you go away?" She asked in exasperation.

Laeh giggled as the imp stomped her foot. "Probably not. I've never met a vampire before."
She shuffled off the net and pouted a little. "I don't have many friends who can make nets as good as you can. It makes things interesting. Why do you want me to leave anyway? Maybe I can help you catch the bad guys."

Help her? That was laughable.
But maybe just maybe, she could annoying them to death or use this little...thing as bait. Bait. Yes, bait would work out well. She would be pretty enough, easy enough to take. Maybe she could use her.
"I prefer to be alone," was all she said as she wound up the net. It took her a moment to get the netting untangled. "So are you actually useful for anything?"

"I'm great at fighting dragons, pirates and witches. Rescuing princesses and claiming lost treasure." Laeh's chest puffed out, proud as a peacock. "I'm a great adventurer."
"I can also do this." Laeh concentrated for a moment as a gust of wind shot past. She wobbled a bit afterwards. "It's a little hard to do the big ones.."
Tilting her head to the side, she asked. "What can you do? I know you can set traps. Is there anything else?"

"Okay, let me rephrase that," Alma rolled her eyes. "What can you REALLY do? All that's fake." She gave a large huff.
It was quite impressive the gusting--that actually could be useful. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad for her to stay and help.
"You wanna know what I can do?" mischief danced in her eyes. "Lean close. Really really close..." She waited for the other female to do it.

For once Laeh sounded a little mature. The moment quickly faded when she leaned close. Her eyes widened and her whole body shook with excitement. She contained a squee and asked. "What? Show me. Show me!"
