Roll a Seven: Forest Field: Thick trees, some small while others greatly exceed double your own height, sprout at random places throughout the field. Giant roots provide easy excuses for pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to BUG and GRASS type attacks.This field also reduces damage from FLYING type attacks by 25 HP.

Gangrel took refuge under a root as he waited for his opponent. Walpurgis propped himself up against a tree and allowed himself to doze off as he too awaited his opponent. It wasn't as if Gangrel didn't have more combat experience than him anyways.

Cara walked into the stadium and upon seeing the field type, she stopped suddenly. She looked at it blankly for a few moments before smacking her forehead with the palm of her hand quite hard, leaving the imprint of a palm there. "The fates must hate me again..." She muttered to herself as she walked to her trainer box, having spotted her opponent. "Hey there," She called over casually. "You ready to get this goin?" Cara then called out Calypso. The tentacool sat on the mossy ground for a few moments before reaching out her tentacles to a branch and hoisted herself up onto a decent sized rock that had a pool of water in it.

Cara took a deep breath and shouted out their first move. "Ok Calypso, use Supersonic!"
Calypso complied and raised herself up by using her tentacles and the branches of trees around her. She then scanned the forest floor searching for her opponent. When she found Gangrel, she let loose the high pitched attack.
((sorry for not much in the way of...description but...im out of ideas for word play ^-^; ))

"Well that didn't work." Cara said, looking at Calypso. "Now that we can only use damage causing moves...Use Sludge Wave!" She called out.
Calypso nodded. Her eyes started to glow a purplish color and she waved her tentacles out in front of her. Suddenly, a wave of sludge erupted from around her and came at Gangrel.

Darting behind a tree, Gangrel took cover from the wave of sludge. Running up top, his eyes turned yellow. At the top of the tree, he let loose a chatter, and a burst of electricity radiated out into everything.

Calypso went flying back once more, but got up and climbed back up into the branches of the trees.
"Good job Calypso, use Sludge Wave again!" Cara called out.
Calypso nodded and summoned the wave of sludge once more, focusing the powerful edge of the attack toward Gangrel.

Gangrel was splashed by the sludge, and run up the tree nearest to him for cover. Hissing, his eyes turned yellow as electricity danced along his coat, sending a gigantic bolt of lightning straight for Calypso.

((Im in a lot of battles at the moment, forgives me for lack of mental prowess sweatdrop ))
Calypso went flying back from the painful attack. As she got back up, her movements were slightly slower. Luckily, she was not paralyzed by the electric attack. Cara was now worried about Calypso. If that Rattata knew an electric move that powerful, they were in trouble. "Calypso, use Giga Drain!" Calypso got back up and focused her power then sent the orb of green energy right at Gangrel.

Gangrel shuddered as he felt the strength sapped from his body, and a ray of realization hit him harder than any of the attack he had thus far suffered. Despite being a water pokemon, the tentacool had the advantage in the forest. He was actually in danger of losing. He looked to Walpurgis for advice.
Walpurgis thought a bit before declaring, "Try to paralyze it with Thunder!"
Nodding, Gangrel's eyes returned to a yellow color as a large bolt of lighning zoomed towards Calypso.

Calypso's movements were suddenly slowed immensely. The static-y charge of the paralysis nearly stopped her movements. She struggled to move more fluidly but was unable to. Cara ground her teeth agitated. "Calypso, try Supersonic again!" Calypso nodded and tried to shoot the high pitched vocal sounds at the Rattata once more.
