This is SELF RP of Chessur, but by Cheshirekttty and Nyx Queen of Darkness To recap, he's bat crap crazy. So....we're having him argue and talk with himself. XD

For years, I had lived with my Clan. Raised in the way of Cheshire cats. I had a unique ability of being able to shift in and out of sight, though limited. Yet, I was still not the favoured one.
That was when I was whole. That was when I was only Chessur.
When my cousin, Redondo left. Life changed. The old bat was barely tolerable to be around, but she was the leader of the our clan so we all tolerated her until one day--I didn't.
I'd had enough of her, of never being as good as Redondo--of being more dark and menacing rather than a Cheshire in his more classic way.
That was when I left. But something happen, I shifted so much between visible and non-visible that I finally became stuck unable to shift or change ever again. There are parts of me now that are forever missing...and I'm not the same. There are moments...moments that I can't remember. Sometimes...I feel like there's someone else that I'm sharing this body with....

Chessur rolled his eyes at the statement. "Of course there is." He snorted. "I'm surprised it took you this long to figure out you dolt." He grinned maniacally. Goodness how could he be so stupid sometimes? Sure there had been some point when they were normal, but how long ago had that been? Who was the dominant one and how long had he been in existence? Perhaps it had been the isles that had caused the split. All of that shifting in and out and then finally one day, pop. There were two of him. Whatever the cause, they were here now.

Chessur blinked his eyes. Had he just responded to himself? No, that couldn't be. There...was more than one of him? "You're there? Really, truly there?" So it was true. There was more of him than one.
He was...broken. Maybe he could put himself back together. But the voice, was refreshing...He'd always felt so lonely. Now he'd never be alone again. "How come we haven't talked before?"

Chessur inwardly sighed at himself. Wasn't he a bit dimwitted today? Well, he ought to enlighten himself at least. "Of course I am dimwit," He paused for a moment thinking over his next words. "I suppose I've just never said anything before. But then again, I'm not so sure how long I've been around. Perhaps you simply had to realize I was here? Why haven't you ever spoken to me before? Why must it always be so one sided with you.?" He continued on a tad irritated but mostly humored by the whole conversation.

"Well, if I'd known you were here, I'd have talked to you!," he uttered with exasperation. "You're a little annoying, you know that? But I like you nonetheless." He paused a minute, "So maybe you were only here when you first talked? What do you remember before that?" He titled their head.

Chessur felt himself twitching their tail both thoughtfully and playfully. "I suppose I don't remember much." His voice a bit of a purr as he spoke. "Perhaps you're right. I remember a bit of appearing and disappearing, this and that, a memory here and there. Really it's all fragmented and broken. I'm not sure what is yours, mine, and ours. Then again I really do suppose that everything that is yours is mine and everything that is mine is yours so really everything is ours don't you agree?" He asked mischievously.

"I don't think that would have made much sense before, but it makes perfect sense now. We are the same and different, so it's both ours and not. And also neither." He chuckled a bit, flicking their ears. "I quite like the way you think, remarkably in tune with us. I think...knowing you will work quite well. I wonder if either of us will disappear for a time? We must make sure when we talk that we know what's going on, just in case."

He pondered this a moment before replying. "Oh yes, this would be good indeed. After all, we have only just met and so therefor it is quite possible we may not remember all that we know. Perhaps little talks like this would be quite useful. However, when we are both here it could also be quite helpful, yes quite helpful indeed. You may never know when you need your own opinion. Perhaps I can see things that you can't. Don't you agree?"

"Agreed." He replied immediately. After all, it did make perfect sense to him. It would be rather silly if he had no idea what he was doing or had done. "How will we know when we are not we but only an I or a you?" He asked, rather curious. After all, they would look might silly talking to himself.

"Maybe if we whistle like the birds, maybe we'll know the other is there? That way we don't look crazy, but we'll know and no one else will know. Though we can just say it if we need to?" He asked.

Chessur nodded their head in agreement once more. "Makes perfect sense, perfect sense indeed. We wouldn't need anyone thinking us crazy now would we? Then again a little dose of crazy never really hurt anyone now did it? Look at us! Why we're quite fine, in fact, I'd say that we're better than fine. I'd say we're better off than all the non crazies. Then again perhaps we're the ones that are truly normal and they're the crazy ones? In any case I don't understand why anyone would want to be normal. It looks quite boring and rather lonely. Having us makes life much more enjoyable." He continued on in a bit of a rant.

Chessur tilted our head, "I never thought of it that way. Maybe we're the only ones that aren't crazy. What a thing that would be! To be the only two (one) non-crazies in the world! But then we'd be the envy of everyone...so I supposed it's best to keep it to ourselves right? I mean we don't want others to want to be us, jealousy and rage. Hmmm..."
Another thought came to their mind. "What do I call you? Are you Chessur too? Or do you prefer another name?" Do we have other names he wondered with him. I wonder..."Are there more of us or just us two? Will we ever know or need to know?"

He contemplated his words for a moment. Were there more of him? Was there anyway to know at all? He supposed not. Or at least if there were more of him they would likely have shown themselves by this point. Then again perhaps there would be more of him in the future? No, there was no way of knowing.
"No, I don't suppose that there are more of us, or you, or I. I believe it is just we. Perhaps in the future we might find more of ourselves, but for now it is just us. Really only time will tell." He chuckled to himself. "As for a name, well, I suppose that we know who we are but maybe others would not? Then again if we are to be hiding or non-crazyness then names might not help anyway. However, just for the sake of having a name, I want to be the GREAT Glasgow. not just the Glasgow, but the GREAT. It's very important you know. Although I suppose in general most will call us by either name or by both." He continued on to them.
