Roll a Ten: Playground Field: The field looks like an average playground. Grass mostly covers the field floor, but sand surrounds the areas where the jungle gym, see-saw, swing set, merry-go-round, monkey bars, and trapeze rings are set. Scattered around the field are a baseball, a soccer ball, a football, and many other types of balls. A tree stands at one corner of the playground with a tire swing hanging from its strongest branch. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to NORMAL type attacks.

Gangrel's red eyes lit up at the sight of the playground. He bounded over to the tire swing, leaping into it and swinging back and forth.
Walpurgis smiled at the rattata's silliness, sitting on a swing to await his opponent.

Doyle walked into the stadium and immediately saw the playground field. This was different. He let Ark out and watched as she took in the field. "So are you ready for this?" He called out to the other trainer.
Ark took in the playground equipment and dashed towards the merry-go-round. She hopped up on it and looked at the Rattata on the tire swing.

Walpurgis regarded the other trainer. "I'm ready!" called he, as Gangrel swung forward, flashing his blue eyes. Swinging past the tree trunk, he sent an Ice Beam zooming at the zorua. He was ready too.

Doyle nodded. "Then let's go!" He called back. He watched as Ark dodged the Ice Beam easily. "Okay Ark! Let's start off with Hone Claws!"
Ark moved off of the merry-go-round and hid behind a see-saw. She began sharpening her claws to give her an extra edge in the battle.

Ark's head snapped up while she hissed at the rat. "Zuuuuu...." She left her hiding spot and quickly glanced around. Spotting Gangrel she darted for him. <> She snapped back before using Counter on him.

Gangrel nimbly dodged the zorua's counter. It seemed to have forgotten in it's rage that a counter usually works best when used to, y'know, counter something. Blue eyes glinting in the rays of sun poking through the leaves overhead, Gangrel launch another Ice Beam.

Ark was preparing to use another Counter, frustrated that she had missed in the first place, when she was hit with the Ice Beam. It was quite weak and already she could feel the ice breaking.
Doyle was standing by and watching the pokemon battle. He couldn't believe how easily Ark had fallen for the Taunt. He shook his head as she stood frozen.

Ark broke free and just missed getting hit again. "Zuuu" She lashed out with another Counter hoping to hit him this time.
"Focus Ark!" Doyle shouted, hoping that it would help Ark snap out of her rage from the Taunt.

Angered as it was, the counter, which actually countered something, made it's mark, striking Gangrel, who was knocked back a fair distance. He looked up, blue eyes filled with anger as he shot off another ice beam.

Ark was in the process of darting away when the Ice Beam hit. It was a solid one too freezing her really well.
Doyle sighed and hoped that Gangrel would miss a lot of the coming attacks.
