And really, she couldn't look to her brother for help. While slightly more studious than her and overall better at english, he was also curled up into a tight ball of lean, black and pink cat - one brown eye only cracking open with the soft sound of his sister's sigh. Hopefully this meant she was about to say '******** it', power up, and go out - it was imperative that his parents did not see him, and much less hear him. Ashley explaining that she was hiding a cat in her room was one thing, explaining why said cat had their son's voice was another, much more difficult thing. Sure, he could have wandered around, but... Ehhh. He didn't like how vulnerable he felt right now. He was used to be more on less on top of the 'food chain', after all.
Alunite let out a big, cat-like yawn, and waited for what looked to be the inevitable.

She'd been fired, on Wednesday- apparently a text message did not construe 'calling in' and neither did the fact that she didn't know how long it would be before she was back at work. And no, she didn't have a doctor's note for her mysterious illness. She'd tried not to talk to anyone other than her employers though- and she could only talk to them with help. It was irritating.
She'd checked on a few of her friends here and there, and it was time for one last stop in. Thanksgiving, the day before, had been... difficult. She'd carried her cell phone to Ari in her mouth- it was heavy, and the trip was long, but they'd made it- and made the redhead text everyone she would normally text, to make everyone think everyone was okay. But she hadn't been able to see anyone, and keeping secret the fact that the social heiress Jada Chamberlyn was a freaking tentacle senshi was very important- and getting harder. While a lot of people didn't know, and those who did would keep their mouths shut... no.
Ashley's house was the last stop she would be able to make today. She wasn't intending to go in, just peek through a window like a kitty-creeper and make sure everything was alright. But something... something niggled, as she poked around the house. Something wasn't right. Something- she was sensing an aura? She paused, trying to focus. She knew this feeling. Like cold fingers, rubbing her fur the wrong direction. She darted closer, moving around the house until she reached Ashley's room. The window was open, and she leaped onto the windowsill, hoping that she was reaching it before the fingers could feel her. There was- there was nothing here? Ashley was sitting at her desk, leaned back and staring at the ceiling. And there was no one in the room, just the darkness.
Curled up on Ashley's bed. She slipped into Ashley's room, the tiniest thump of paws. That cat was evil. But what could she do about it?

Something suddenly was very wrong. His fur was puffing, his hackles rising without him truly realising why at first, until it suddenly hit him.
That aura.
Senshi.
He was up in a smooth motion, sitting on the bed like if he very much belonged there, long, fluffy tail curling up around his four paws. It took a moment, but he finally located the intruder. The blue and gold cat standing right inside the window balcony.
There was a ******** white moon cat in his sister's room. This was UNACCEPTABLE. What was a senshi doing in his sister's room ?! Why did a senshi know where his sister lived ?!?
He was just about to hiss obscenities when he stopped himself. Ashley. Right... If he talked, or did anything too out of place, he would reveal that Ashley was aware of what he likely was. It was a kind of connection he did not especially want the white moon to make. For the stupider of them to think they were twins when powered up was amusing... But for them to draw a line in between Ashley and Alunite was too much.
So instead, he settled to glare at the intruder, hoping to get his point across. That point being screw the hell off.
If he was ever himself again, eternal buttwings and all, he was going to hunt this one down and kick. it's. a**.

Her eyes were on the evil thing on her friend's bed. She leaped onto the comforter gracefully, silently, staring at him. Dark star on his forehead. The feeling of corruption, of darkness. And how come Ashley hadn't known something was wrong with a pink cat? Scylla dropped in front of the other cat, between he and Ashley.
There was a ******** Negaverser in Ashley's room, and she hadn't a clue how close she was to darkness.
The other cat's point was gotten, but her own was going to be clear, too. You screw the hell off. There wasn't a chance in hell, now that she knew darkness was so close to her friend, that she was going to leave Ashley unprotected. The fur would fly- oh, yes it would.
She yawned, and started grooming her paw, claws out and tongue careful.

This was bad. This was very bad. This was very, very bad.
There was a freaking senshi in his sister's room, and she seemed to still be completely unaware. He had to warn her, somehow, in a way that would not have her accidentally reveal herself.
And now the senshi was sitting on his sister's bed.
Alunite very clearly twitched and - in spite of himself - let out a low hiss, claws at the ready.
Whoah. "What-"
Ashley turned to look at her brother, but thankfully saw the foreign cat first, and froze for a moment. Her brother's reaction was enough to send off warning signals, and it wasn't like she could just leave to another room and power up !
It would be way too easy for a cat to follow...
"Another kitty ?" She settled for playing dumb. "How did you get in here ?" She blinked, eyes trailing to the window. Ah. That'd be how. She'd kept that open for that Alunite could come and go just as he wished, but...
Well, clearly this had been unwise.

Ashley spoke, and Scylla's ears perked up from their laid back position. A happy purr started low in her chest, and she turned her eyes briefly from the Negaverser to Ashley. Only briefly- this evil little p***y obviously needed to get a swift kick in the a**.
She stood, backing up to the edge of the bed, then turned and leaped down, racing over to Ashley and leaping onto her, butting her head against her chin, friendly. She had to get her friend to leave the room, so she could chase that other cat away. She purred, rubbing against her insistently. She could shed all over her- maybe Ashley would sneeze. And if nothing else...
Well, accidents happened with claws sometimes. Ashley would never know that is was Jada who had done it, but...
Why was her friend silly enough to let a pink and black cat on her bed, anyway! She glared at the other cat, purple eyes narrowing, and butted Ashley again. Mine, she tried to transmit to the other cat. Under my protection.

What in the unholy...
Well.
She had a senshi-cat rubbing itself all over her like a cat in heat, and she was quickly starting to worry that Alunite's eyetwitch was about to become permanent. She had to trust him at this point, having no sense of auras at all right now, but she had to trust that if this cat was any of theirs, he wouldn't look nearly as annoyed. He'd probably look nowhere as annoyed if it was a dark mirror, either.
(She still didn't know what to think about her brother hanging around them, but Leto at least had won some of her respect)
"Did you get lost, kitty ?" Faking being oblivious wasn't as easy as one could think - especially not with her brother going apeshit a mere meter away. "Looking so lovely too... Who do you belong to, hm ?" She faked looking for a collar, but saw none, of course.
How could she get that senshi cat out ? "I can't keep you too... Sorry kitty."

It started with the eyetwitch. Then it was the fur poofing - his tail, in particular, looked downright ridiculous - and then finally he couldn't keep it anymore, and launched himself, puffing and hissing, at Scylla, and did his best to shove her off Ashley.
He wanted no white moon senshi near her while she was at her most vulnerable - this much was certain. Fluorite could have punted this senshi to her star and back - but if there was anything nasty in the wings, Ashley couldn't power up without revealing herself.

Did you get lost, kitty? The blue cat on the civilian's lap lifted her head, then shook it a deliberate no. So, Ashley couldn't keep her too? Well.
She certainly wasn't going to be keeping that Negacat freak.
It started with the eyetwitch. Then it was the fur poofing, and her head lowering, eyes narrowing at the enemy. And then the enemy launched himself, and Scylla hissed, clawing at the other cat, trying to keep herself between the enemy and her friend.
You can't have her! Scylla's intentions were a hiss, and her paw darted out again, claws flashing. The Negaverse didn't want anything but to kill and corrupt, and suck energy and gobble Starseeds, and it would be over Jada's dead body that she lost another friend to the monstrosity of the Negaverse or Corruption.
The cat being here was a threat. Ashley couldn't keep her, it was fine. But Scylla was going to take Stinky with her.
