User ImageIt was cold. So cold that the leopardess wasn't sure why she emerged from her den this morning. With her ears pinned against her head, her tail low and unmoving, she still felt cold despite walking around for hours trying to warm up. It wasn't until her stomach rumbled did she remember why she'd come out of her nice warm den.

"Right. I'm hungry..." she murmured to herself, golden eyes looking this way and that. There wasn't any large game about. Something told her today was going to be rabbit day and that wasn't something she liked. Sure, rabbit was good and all, but she had to catch a few before it even took the edge off her hunger. She'd much prefer a gazelle or a waterbuck. Something big that she could really sink her teeth into. Sniffling a bit as she felt her nose freeze she whined and stopped again.

Looking around, she found a cave in the base of a small cliff. Risking it, the leopardess went in and sat at the mouth of the cave, sighing at how much warmer it was to get out of the wind. "Gods above, it's cold!"
