Roll a Twelve: Graveyard Field: In this particular field selection, the stadium ceiling is shut tight, covering the entire inner area of the stadium in a veil of pure darkness. The ordinary dirt field is swapped out for a field full of grave stones scattered across the lifeless soil. Near the northern end of the battle field, a single withered tree stands hunched over as though in constant mourning of those who rest for eternity here. A dense fog weaves in and out of the headstones and hinders vision. The fog itself seems damp and heavy, like the tears of the living mourning for the lost. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GHOST and DARK type attacks.

Genesis scratched the back of her head, eying the graveyard field. Leto had ended her battle last night in one, and now she was starting the day with another. Thankfully, neither were the superstitious type.
"Go, Leto," she commanded, staring hard at the Rattata. Leto was prone to attacking on her own, and while that was fine, she had to learn it should only be done on Genesis' word, not hers, and so Genesis decided she would be leading the battle today.
Leto chirped in response, unaffected by Genesis' dark attitude. She ran towards the field, tail twitching as they waiting for their opponent.

As the lights went out Abby got rather scared. This was her first pokemon battle ever! Why did the setting have to be so creep, she let out a little scream as she thought she felt something brush her back. She whipped around to see nothing, her face started to burn as she realize that it was just her mind playing tricks. "I'm ok!" She yelled out and waved. 'Right I can do this!' she told herself.
"Go Rattata!" It stared at her, Abby felt bad that the poor thing got stuck with her for now. She made a silent pray to not let this Rattata get to hurt.
The Rattata stared at the newbie and shook it's head then ran off to the field.

Abby's gaze turned hard as she sized up the competition. She might be new and sure as her love for cupcakes, is she scared but her drive to win and be great was strong.
She stood straight and tall with her shoulders back. "Rattata! Use Crunch!" She yelled out with confidence.
The Rattata charged the other with like hesitation.

Genesis quirked a brow curiously at the approaching trainer's paranoid actions, drumming her fingers against her arms while the other entered the Stadium. "Good luck," she called out, more out of habit than genuine good will, before turning her attention to the battle.
"Let's start this off with Tail Whip!"
Leto perked up when she saw another Rattata enter the field, giving a quick, "Ta!" in greeting before steeling herself for the upcoming fight.
Her opponent moved quicker than she, wounding her with a Crunch before she could take more than few steps. Still, they were much closer to each other now, and in that moment, she whapped the other with her tail, lowering its defense.

The Rattata took the hit and stumbled.
He heard his trainers order and had no clue what this chick was talking about but all the same he lunged at his opponent with the intent on replaying the favor.

Genesis watched, weighing her options for retaliation. If this continued, she feared another stat-battle, and, having experienced a handful of those already, she decided to go with: "Toxic!"
Leto gnashed her teeth with pain and annoyance when the other bit her again, tail lashing. She would have tried to bite him back, too, had Genesis' sharp tone not stop her. Grumbling, she let spew a noxious liquid from her mouth.

Just who did this chick think she is, using toxic on her poor little Rattata, he wasn't even her own pokemon. She had to get her back. "Crunch it!"
Rattata jumped but he wasn't fast enough, most of the toxic liquid splattered on him. He clicked his teeth at her as he leaped again at her.

"He's weakened now; dodge it! Follow it up with Rock Smash!" Genesis ordered, her words quick, decisive, and much less contemplative than before.
Leto did as she was told, giving a taunting chatter as she loped away from the male's bite. Circling around, her paw glowing with the attack she was about to use, she rushed towards him.

"Dodge now!" She yelped, and let out a breath of releaf as Leto's attack missed. "Move in close and crunch".
Rattata didn't have Leto in his site and had to trust his trainer when she barked out dodge and he was rather glad he listened. He strafed to the left as she came in, then spring into another crunch.

Genesis didn't pause when Leto missed, instead calling out, "Try again!"
Leto stumbled when, unexpectedly, the other Rattata dodged her attack, as well, before giving her a nasty bite on the leg. Huffing angrily, she shook herself before trying another Rock Smash.

Abby looked horrified as her poor Rattata was hit by a rock smash. "Return the favor!" She called out.
Rattata tried to shake it off but it was a hard hit and the poison was getting to him. All the same he got to his paws a aimed a Rock Smash at Leto.

Leto was thrown back by the force of the male's attack, but she recovered in time to try another Rock Smash of her own.

"Dig deep and hit it again!" She cheered him on, hoping he could pull this off. Just one big hit is what they needed.
Rattata felt only a little better as the poison left hm but his body was sore and hurt all over but the cheering helped and he leaped at Leto using Rock Smash for what would be the last time this battle.
