Somehow during all of the trouble, kitten Hypnos had ended up in a small park that was empty of any kids. She didn't know how she got here but she couldn't resist the grass as it blew in the soft breeze. She couldn't barely admit it but things were looking up! The sky was as blue as could be and clear of any sort of cloudy trouble and with the sun shining it didn't even seem to matter that there was a bit of a breeze.
The grass padded her paws nicely as she roamed over it curiously. Best of all, there wasn't a soul around to potentially scoop her up when she didn't want to be picked up! Her blue eyes made sure no one was hiding anywhere first, and then she carefully stuck toward the middle of the playground and to a nice soft spot. She was tired, and she found herself falling onto her side and laying her head down on her paws. Her eyes dropped and slowly as she began to fall into a cat nap, the child began to feel as if she understood why she'd found ********* laying in the snow eleven months ago.

There was no way Peter was going to be stuck inside all day! Not only was he unable to go home, but he was missing all the pre-Thanksgiving parties his classes will surely be having!
So one way or another, kitten Peter had escaped from his older brother's apartment was was busy exploring the city. Since neither his brother nor Paris seemed to have any idea as to how he was turned into a kitten, Peter thought it was a good idea to figure things out for himself.
It was a little more difficult than he thought it would be — finding his way back to the 'scene of the crime' — especially without his smart phone to guide him along, but soon enough he found his way to the small park where it all happened.
But he soon realized that he wasn't alone! There was another kitten there! And... it looked as though she might be... dead?? Peter felt his heart begin to race as he broke out into a run towards the kitten in the middle of the park. Had this child been turned into a cat and then left there to just... -- no, she wasn't dead! She couldn't! That was just too horrible!
"HEY!" he shouted into the kitten's ear once he was close enough, his eyes wide as he bounced around in a frenzy of not knowing what to do, but not wanting to pounce her and potentially hurt her. "HEY WAKE UP!"

It was usual for Hypnos to sleep as deeply as she was but even the first call hadn't been enough to wake up the sleeping kitten. She didn't even move by the sudden company of the other kitten and she was sleeping as peaceful as a princess without a pea under her mattress would. However, the second call arose the kitten out of her pleasant dreams, her tiny body stretching contently long before her eyes even opened.
She was alive!
"Mmmmmmf?" She managed to reply, far too sleepy to even foreign a pretend meow.

"Oh good, you're alive!" Peter gasped, pausing in his bouncing around as he tried to figure out some way to wake her up. "Are you a kid, too?? Like... were you once a human and now you're a cat?? You have a star thingy like I do! So that means you used to be one, right? A human, I mean. Not a star. Not that you couldn't have been a star, too, especially if you did movies or something like that, but that's not what I'm talking about right now! I just want to know if you're also a human who was turned into a cat and now you have no idea how to turn back!" he rambled, pacing in front of the still semi-dozing kitten in front of him.
It was a good thing that she was alive, though. That would have been horrible!
"And what are you doing sleeping in the middle of the park?? Aren't you afraid of someone coming in and kittennapping you? Get it? Like kidnapping, only as a kitten... although I guess you were kitten-napping... since you were napping..."

The voice that was rambling on in her ear was very loud and it certainly didn't take more than that to get Hypnos to slowly sit up, yawning and pawing at her face. What was going on? She could hear Peter speaking, or at least what she thought was Peter, but all she seen was this little brown kitten in her face rambling on about something about if she was a kitten who was a kid before being a kitten. It took a moment, in fact, it took the whole time he was speaking before the thought settled on her. This kitten had been a human! Was it Peter? It sounded like Peter!
"Peter?" She murmured, still in a half asleep state of mind. "It's Hypnos."
It was proceeded by a long, wide yawn.

Peter stared at the kitten when she got up and suddenly said his name. His eyes narrowed suspiciously and the fur on his back stood on end for just a moment. And then she announced that it was just Hypnos.
"Oh... OH! You're a cat too??" he gasped, looking her over and pawing at her face as if to try and get a better look at her. No, she didn't seem to be hurt. That was good at least. "I was gonna go to school the other day but I turned into a cat instead!! Why are we cats?? Are you usually a cat? I didn't think you were!"
He paused, frowning lightly. "Why were you sleeping in the middle of the park?? Something could have happened!"

Her sleepy eyes were blinking very slowly as she looked at the kitten in front of her. The voice matched but the face did not and although she was a cat, it took her a moment for it all to click. It was almost like the glamour of the senshi magic but not nearly as strong. It helped that he seemed to recognize her and say the magic words: you're a cat too? Yes, that was definitely Peter. Why on Earth was Peter a kitten too? Wasn't it just limited to senshi? Why was poor, innocent Peter a kitten? Did his parents know? How worried were they? Hypnos had a million question begin to flow into her head as she began to finally wake up.
"I'm not normally a cat!" She cried out meekly.
"Are you okay? Do you parents know? Are they worried? What happened? Do you have a place to stay? Oh my goodness, Peterrrrrrrrrrrrr," there was a large amount of concern flowing from her lips. Something about her sleeping in the park? That didn't seem nearly as bad as what Peter was forced to go through. He was a kitten!
"Something did happen, Peter... we're cats!" Apparently nothing could really top that at the moment.

Peter paused in his bouncing around to stare at her. "Of course my parents don't know!" he squeaked, making a horrified face. "They think I'm at my brothers. I mean. I am staying at my brothers. He has a friend like you. A senshi, right?? Yeah... Anyway, he's helping me not get in trouble at school. And called my parents to say that I'm staying with my brother. Things like that..."
But that wasn't really anything to worry about. He already had his situation taken care of. Now it was a matter of being bored out of his mind and not being allowed out of the apartment. Well, he'd found his own way out, hadn't he??
"What about your parents??' he gasped, giving her a stern look. "Do you have any place to stay??" That would be horrible if she didn't! And he'd definitely let her stay with him and his brother, if she wanted. If she didn't, he wouldn't blame her. His brother could be a total jerk.
"Well, yeah, we're cats, but... I mean... we'll turn back, right?? Doesn't this stuff happen all the time??" Somehow he didn't think so, but for the sake of conversation...

Hypnos gasped, her fur sticking up and her maw lowering as if her jaw had dropped, when she'd heard that Peter's parents did know because that basically meant doom for him but when he finally caught the words to explain the situation better she was was able to relax. Her fur didn't unpuff, and shaking her body only seemed to make the situation worse to the point she decided to pretend it was fine even though she probably looked a lot like a fluffball.
"Oh! I'm so relieved. Did you brother handle it well?" Xavier kind of was shocked and he was a senshi. It wasn't every day that your girlfriend's younger senshi sister came home as a cat. Nor was it everyday that your cat would kidnap your girlfriend's younger senshi sister as if she had been a kitten delivered to her from the Gods.
"My family knows," she decided to sum up. Just the family she was currently living with, being her sister and Xavier. They were a family of senshi! How neat was that? She kept it to herself, if only because Peter quickly asked her another question.
"I... I don't know. This has never happened to me before. I hope we turn back. I can't imagine all the work I am missing at school!"

Peter frowned thoughtfully as Hypnos explained her situation. "Your family knows, huh...?" Well... that was good at least. At least she had someone to take care of her, right...? "My brother knows I'm a cat... but I don't think he really had a choice." It was either that or let his parents find out... and his mother would probably have a heart attack OR would cuddle him to death.
Either way it was not very desirable.
The kitten looked Hypnos over for a few more moments before turning to look towards the street. "Well... I'm supposed to get home before they know I'm gone... And tell me about it... I hope we're not like this for long. My birthday is coming up," he added with a sigh. Not to mention Thanksgiving! It just sucked all around.
"Come on, I'll walk you home, okay?" he offered. "The city is dangerous for us cats! We should stick together when we can!"
