Bored, bored, bored, bored! Agh! Medu paced around, desprately trying to think of something to do. This being on your own stuff, he had decided, was the worst thing ever. He hadn't even been gone from his mothers tribe all that long and he felt as if he was going to die from boredom. How did other foxes survive like this? How did they handle being away from all the excitement of people? Ugh.

Medu debated going back to his mothers tribe but if he did, he'd lose the bet, and he was so not going to lose. So he had to stay out here for awhile. Maybe if he found someone to talk to or harass things wouldn't seem so bad. Surely there had to be other foxes around that he could mess with. Maybe he could even find something of worth to steal from another fox. Ugh, but that would require him to actually interact with other foxes. Honestly, the foxes of his mothers tribe were the only ones that were really worth talking to. The rest were just.... so... good.

User Image Niosa darted into the bushes, her tail clinging closer to her then ever before. The necklace was wrapped firmly around it, shiny and gorgeous in it's interiority. Once again she was running from foxes in the city, her dark figure darting skillfully through the bushes, weaving in and out around the trees. They wouldn't catch her, she was never caught.

Her street name was Dark Moth, sometimes Silent Chambers though she suspected people were mistaking her for her late mother. Either way, she was a thief. Her gig was simple and clean, she would warn those she would steal from then later in the night take their precious jewels. She liked the chase mostly, enjoyed fleeing and bringing them into the woods where the pathetic city dwellers would become lost, or sometimes the persistent ones would corner her and she would skillfully use the trees to climb away and escape. Never caught once, not once.

Niosa often stolen food for the unfortunate, but today was her night. That is until she rammed into a warm figure, having been focusing on the footsteps behind her and not those in-front. She hadn't expected there to be a person, not a pink and blue haired male either. Red eyes flicked up to blink at the male.

Then she heard a voice, leaping away from the male and darting up the tree behind him. "Don't tell them I'm here or you'll regret it, forest boy." She warned from her perch, tail flipping under her as she crouched. If that boy even so much as pointed at her she'd make a note to find him later and shave his hair off with something sharp.

Medu continued to pace around, wondering what he was going to finally do about his situation, until the sound of crunching leaves rustling branches caught his attention. It appeared someone was approaching him. And from the sound of it, they were approaching fast and not slowing down. His first instinct was flee the scene, but his curiousity held him. This could get interesting.

And it did.

Part of him had been so sure that she was going to dodge around him at the last second, but part of him could see that this vixen was focused on one thing, which wasn't him, so he braced himself as she ran head first into him. She was strong for a vixen, nearly knocked him off his feet. But he had taken way harder hits than that and still stood. He watched her scale the tree and had to fight back the urge to laugh.

"Forest boy...?" Medu couldn't help it, the laughter he had been holding back burst from his chest and the dark male fell to the ground laughing. She thought he was from the forest? The sound of the vixens pursuers were becoming increasingly louder but Medu could do nothing but laugh at the situation before him.

"Shut up, moron!" She hissed back, hearing the footsteps. He was going to get her caught... Leaping from her spot she landed right in-front of him, wrapped her tail around his muzzle, and leaned upwards so she could press him down.

"Shush." Why was he laughing so much?! Well, she would make sure he wouldn't laugh. When the footsteps seemed to end up heading off somewhere else. When she no longer smelled them she released the boy, flicked her tail with the necklace on it, and gazed at it lovingly. With this done, she looked up at the boy, frowned, and flipped her hair from her eyes.

"Sorry I had to rough house with you, but you were laughin' like a demented monkey."

Medu was about to speak when the vixen jumped from her tree and started to sufficate him. It took everything he had not to make a joke about the strange vixen liking it rough and taking charge. The many jokes that ran through his head only made him laugh harder. Eventually, he was laughing at himself laughing so hard, which was pretty funny to him. Of course, it hurt to laugh due to the way he was being held and the tail in his face, but regardless of the noise, or lack of, that he was making, his sides were still contracting in a giggle fit. Finally he was released and he calmed himself.

"No, no. It's perfectly alright. Man, I haven't laughed like that since I was a kit." He said, shaking his hair. It was only then that the necklace on the vixen's tail caught his eyes. So this whole scene was due to this vixen stealing something?

"So you almost got caught, huh?" Thankfully his sides now hurt to badly to laugh anymore. "Pretty close call. You, my dear, are obviously the one from the forest."

Her eyes watched him, shaking her head side to side. "No." She piped back, flicking her tail to her paws, keeping the necklace within her reach as she watched the strange haired male. Briefly she scanned his body, clicking her tongue. At least the boy was pretty, though his laughter almost got her caught.

"I come from the city, not the forest." She corrected, lazily running her nails through her messy hair. "To be a thief one must be able to hide anywhere, city, forest, shack, anywhere." Her eyes trailed him, flicking her ear just once.

"Almost, but not. I like the chase, nothin' better then a good wild chase."

Hrm. Maybe he had the wrong first impression of this vixen. She was from a city, she liked to steal, and she enjoyed the chase. That was something they had in common. Medu eyed the vixen over again, maybe she wasn't so bad.

"It's been awhile since I've had a good chase." He said as he thought back to the last few items he had stolen. His eyes drifted to the vixens stolen necklace. "It's nice, your necklace." He paused looking it over and debating. "Looks like you got it from a sleeping kit."

A dark smile spread on his muzzle. He was hoping his comment would rile up the vixen. It was something he had gotten used to with the vixens back home. It was almost a challenge to prove who the better thief was and this new vixen almost seemed like the type to take up the challenge. Or at least give a good story that he could learn a new trick or two from.

Glancing at the necklace, she sported back a wide grin. "You think so? Yea. It's goin' right in my little den." Then the second comment. Giving him a "oh hell no you didn't" glance, she sneered at the male.

"Excuse me?" Her tail twitched in irritation. Though, in seconds she just offered a faint smile at him. "Honey, I'm a legend from my city. I'm not that low to steal from a kitling. Besides, I tend to steal for the little sparrows, not from them."

Yet, that little annoyed smile still was on her lips, viewing the necklace. It was not from a kit! It was from a foxes den, yes, but an adult fox! And besides, it was valuable? Was he to dim to see that? Or was he blind? Hmpf.
