Roll a Seven: Forest Field: Thick trees, some small while others greatly exceed double your own height, sprout at random places throughout the field. Giant roots provide easy excuses for pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to BUG and GRASS type attacks. This field also reduces damage from FLYING type attacks by 25 HP.

Leto was going to be good this time, really! She had been allowed outside of her Poké Ball, Erebos was keeping a close eye on her, and a recent defeat by her steed-could-have-been should have been enough to keep her in check. Should have been, yes, but sadly, it wasn't enough.
A sudden, familiar smell came to her in the breeze, and she perked up quickly, nose twitching wildly as she scrambled to make sure she had smelled right. If her nose wasn't lying to her... Willy was here!
Both Erebos and Genesis had, by then, noticed her strange behavior, but neither was fast enough. The small mouse Pokémon used Quick Attack to follow the trail, but before she could reach him, she stumbled onto a Stadium, its field randomizing into a grass field when it sensed a Pokémon enter. And now, she was stuck in it. Oh, no!

"Good job, William!" Patrick praised as his pokemon ignored him for the few berries that were in his palm. The trainer thought that the last match went really well, since it was the rattata's first battle.
Said rattata wasn't very happy though. He could have done better! There was room for improvement, and by god, that was just unacceptable. He, need improvement? That concept was ludicrous! Why, he was supposed to be the best of the best! However, he knew that he did. He just didn't want to accept the fact. After all, he was the one and only mighty William!
The rat-like pokemon turned his head once he noticed the stadium landscape shift. Well, that was odd. But, he didn't think about the stadium change when a familiar purple and cream rattata caught his eye. It was Leto--he knew that marking scheme anywhere!
Giving a joyous squeak, William dropped his berries and rushed over towards Leto as fast as his little legs could carry him.

Leto despaired, wondering how she would ever get out of the large field in time to find her friend. She mourned for a second, her whiskers twitching pitifully, when she heard the rustle of grass and heard quick, approaching steps. She looked up.
"<<Willy!>>" Fang glowing, she ran joyfully up to her fellow Rattata, Rock Smash at the ready. "<<I missed you!>>"
Meanwhile, Genesis and Erebos rushed to the scene. They both grew irritated when they saw Leto had gotten herself into another unintentional battle. This irritation grew when Genesis recognized who, exactly, she was fighting, along with his owner.

William squeaked in response to Leto's cheerful call, eager to see his joyful friend. She was okay for a pokemon, better than all the other ingrates that deemed themselves rattata's at least. Therefore, he didn't mind hanging out and chilling with her. In fact, he actually took pleasure in their small get togethers. It was nice to have someone of his kind around that he could talk to, even if she wasn't as great as him (but of course, no one could be as magnificent as he was. Ah, such a travesty!) at least she had looks that were up to par with his.
"Toeeee-," he exclaimed, only to cut off in mid-calling as the rock smash collided with the side of his body, making him fall to the side. By Jove! That hurt like no tomorrow!
The rattata gave out a pained grunt and quickly got up to wag his tail back and forth in a tail whip.
Patrick quickly gathered the forgotten berries and put them back in his pockets before looking across the field. It was somewhat of a shock to see Karin and Leto there, however, he didn't wear a shocked expression on his face, just one of puzzlement. Maybe she came into a battle too? Well, he wasn't going to stop the fight out in the arena if she did. He gave a slight wave towards her direction before turning his eyes towards the battle.

Leto gasped. Willy didn't just wag his tail at her, did he?! Believing it to be an inviting action meant to represent friendliness, she whipped her own tail back at him, too.
Erebos had, thankfully, noticed Patrick fast enough to crouch and hide himself within the Stadium's shadow before the other caught sight of him. Genesis, trusting he was okay, did not suspiciously cast about for him, but, instead, turned her face away from Patrick as she normally did.

Willliam continued to whip his tail back and forth as attempted to walk a few steps away from his friend. Although he did take pleasure in her company, he needed to catch his breath! That rock smash had severely winded him (not that he'd ever admit it though).
Patrick gave a small huff at Genesis' turn of the head. Prissy, prissy. What the hell had he done to her to earn such lack of respect? Meh. The officer shrugged it off and went back to watching the battle.

Genesis was the type of trainer who trusted and preferred her Pokémon to do their own thing and follow their own instincts -- especially since it was them that were in the heat of battle, not her, and they who could respond faster if they didn't need to wait for her to yell some simple words out. And so, she stayed silent, tilting her head only to watch the battle (as Leto had proven once before how powerful she could be, and Genesis wondered if it was a fluke or no).
Leto imitated William some more, although she went neither farther nor closer to him. Her tail whipped about faster now, and the grass made sharp noises each time they were hit.

Patrick watched in curious interest at the two. Maybe William was better at this battle thing when he didn't rely on his commands. And if he was, then why should he bother to command him in fights that they had in the future. After all, they were probably going to battle multiple times, either for his job, or just on random occasions when he was bored, like right now. Therefore, he thought it best to be a spectator of the battle below and not yell out any moves. Why hinder him when he could do better using his instincts?
William gave out a shrill squeak and shot out an ice beam, happy to see his friend yet also wanting a bit of a pause. He was still hurting from that previous rock smash.

Leto began to inch ever closer, rear up, tail whipping about. She didn't think they were doing such movements simply for show and, as a show of friendly affection, she planned to give him a few whaps on the face with her precious tail.
Unfortunately, before she could reach him, he shot an ice beam at her a**, freezing her solid.

Smirking, William contemplated what to do to his frozen friend. It was true that he wanted a rest but, now that he thought about it...A frozen Leto that couldn't defend herself? Well, that sounded just grand and oh so perfect for revenge. So, he used the same move that she had used on him when she came running at him: Rock smash.

Thankfully, the attack was enough to free Leto from her ice prison, and she chattered her teeth angrily at him. She, too, responded with a Rock Smash, her ears pinned back with indignant anger.

William staggered backwards as the rocks hit his body. Good lordy, that hurt! In retaliation (for how dare she strike him with such force!), he shot another ice beam towards his friend. Hopefully this would make her stay frozen for a longer period of time. There was something satisfactory about that ground move, especially when using it against Leto.
