Rolled a One: Ice Field: The temperature of the stadium suddenly drops several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifts for the upcoming battle. The floor turns into extremely slick ice which makes maneuverability, even simply standing, difficult. Randomly placed crystal-like pillars reach skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks.

Genesis hugged herself when the stadium changed, its floors gaining a sheen of ice and its temperature quickly dropping. It wasn't long until her breath became visible and she looked down to see Erebos, out of his Poké Ball as always, in a similar state. The cold would be good for training, and she was glad it had been chosen. She only wished she had brought a jacket.
With a sudden flick of her hand, she signaled her Lucario to enter the field.

 Cara eyed the icy field warily, knowing that this would not be an easy battle. She gently patted Rio's head as he stood next to her, carefully surveying where he would be battling his opponent. Cara's previous experience with the field had not been all that great, but that was the luck of the draw and it couldn't be helped. She felt the icy wind come off the field and shivered. Today would have really been a good day to have worn something warmer under her top or to bring a sweater along. Taking a deep breath, she walked toward the trainer box and wordlessly gestured for Rio to head onto the field. He nodded back and made his way onto the frigid and frozen terrain. 'Here goes nothin' She thought to herself as she got in to the box and looked across to their opponent.

((Don't worry about it, bro. ovo I've done everything from thinking a move is the wrong type to thinking freeze = damage, not status condition, to forgetting a few rolls myself. XD /s-sob))
Genesis looked up when someone came, then leaned against the railing, eyes assessing their opponents. Her brows raised when she realized what Pokémon Erebos would be fighting. No doubt, this would be one interesting battle.
"I'll leave this to you, as always" she said simply.
Erebos tilted an ear back towards her, acknowledging and accepting the words. Treading carefully on the ice, he half-ran, half-skated across to the other Lucario, a Force Palm attack at the ready.

((yah, I keep forgetting to roll...total derp-dom falls on moi X3))
Cara assessed her opponent. When her eyes landed on the pokemon she and Rio would be facing her eyes widened a bit. 'Well this is gonna be interesting.' She thought to herself. She soon saw the speed that the other lucario was coming at them with and made a call. "Rio dodge it and use Blaze Kick." Rio kicked off of some frozen rocks but was unfortunately to late to avoid being hit by the other lucario's attack. He was sent skittering but regained his footing, what little there was, and powered up the attack, running right at Erebos.

Erebos noted the success of his attack when the other Lucario's movements slowed, giving him enough time to dodge. In that brief moment of paralysis, he used Calm Mind to ease his mind and strengthen his body.

Rio's movements stalled as the effects of paralysis slowed his movements and stopped him in his tracks. "Its ok Rio, try it again." Rio again started running for his foe, gathering hot energy in his legs.

Erebos twitched his ears, searching for signs that would betray the other's movements. However, he heard little save for the other's trainer and a few fumbling steps that showed the Lucario was still having a difficult time moving. Eyes still closed, he continued to use Calm Mind.

Rio's attack was again stopped by paralysis. His body stopped and cringed as the paralyzing charge from the Force Palm rendered his movements futile once more. Cara took a deep breath and sighed. "Alright then...use Bulk Up to gain some stats!" The lucario nodded and wedged himself between some rocks and started pumping himself up.

More movement could be heard, still slow, still sluggish, but gaining speed and stability, a sure sign that the paralysis was wearing thin. Eyes shut in concentration, he allowed one more Calm Mind to pass through.

The static-y charge surrounding Rio suddenly dispersed as he shuddered a bit from the chilled air around him. 'Good, Paralysis has worn off.' Cara thought to herself. She knew by looking over at the other Lucario that it had built up it's Attack and Defense stats which meant that she would need to do the same for Rio in order to stand a good chance. "Rio, use Bulk up." Rio nodded and started pumping up his muscles.
