Hariti wake from her sleep with Bukaera next to her, shifting slightly as to not wake him up she stood and slipped into the back of the den where the small underground pond was and leaned down to take a drink before slipping into the water for a quick swim before it was time for them to leave. She was happily thinking of the day that was to come.
They were going to start searching for their families today and hope they managed to find them. She looked back toward the navy male sleeping a few feet over. Slipping out of the water she curled on the rock next to the pond where a ray of sunshine shone through the ceiling so she could dry off.
Sitting there she smiled enjoying the feel of the sun on her back as she waited for him to wake up. He mind filled with thoughts of her family, what her siblings looked like now and if they were even going to be able to find them. Hariti could only hope that they would be so lucky as to find her family.

Bukaera felt the warmth of the sun hit him and he opened one of his eyes to see Hariti already awake. He gave her a soft smile. "Good morning lovely." he said quietly before getting up. He let out a loud yawn and he stretched his body. Today they would search for their families and hopefully find one of them. He doubt he would be able to find his own brother, but he wouldn't give up until he found her family.
"How did you sleep?" he asked looking around. He wondered if he should catch a small game so they could eat something before going out on their adventure. His stomach growled, as if answering his question. "If you are hungary I could catch something small. If not we could always catch something while we are looking for out families."
This would be an interesting adventure. He had never spent so much time with a leopardess. He knew he wasn't ready to settle down, far from it in fact, but he didn't mind starting a relationship with her. It would be fun for both of them. Plus everyone needs someone to care about even if it is for a short time. He wondered if Hariti felt the same way. He would be sure to ask her while they walked today.

Hariti's tail curled slightly in happiness at what he had called her smiling happily at the other and nodding at the other and smiling softly at him. Looking at the male stretching as he got up she looked down at her paws slightly embarrassed for starting so obviously. Looking back up at her she smiled softly, there was little chance of finding her family but one could hope.
Smiling at the question she responded by standing up. "I slept well how about you?." As if sensing his hunger her own stomach let out a hungry rumble. "I wouldn't be opposed to it though it might be quicker if we both go hunt. I could distract whatever we find for you so that we can get a quick meal before we decide to head off."
This would be interesting to see what would happen as they traveled to find their family's though they might fail you never know what could happen on journey's such as the one they had decided to go on. After all with the way things were going it would be interesting to see what all would happen here. Maybe she would find someone she could care for even if it's not her mate.

"I slept well enough." He didn't have nightmare at least, he thought. "Sounds good. How does bird sounds. I think I can hear some calling. That should be a nice small meal for the two of us." He led her to wear he heard the birds. He saw one that was rather large and smiled. The perfect little meal.
"How does that one look?" he whispered to her, not wanting the creature to hear them. His mouth watered as he looked at it. He wondered how she was going to distract it. He never had a partner to go hunting with, at least not since he was young. This would be interesting.
"Ladies first." he said moving to let her go by. He watched her careful, interested to see if he would learn anything from her. Who knows maybe they would be stuck together for longer than they planned, he thought as he watched her gently.

She followed him over to the birds suprised to see such a large bird in the are it seemed a bit fat and most likely wouldn't be able to fly very well. She supposed that's what happened when the birds decided to over feed on something. "That ones perfect." she whispered back she recognized the type of bird, it was one of the types that ran along the ground rarely taking flight anyways.
Carefully stalking around the clearing she let her head be just barely visible sending the rest of the birds flying, the one they were looking at however just sat there facing the side where it could see neither of them when she got close enough she pounced sending a few rocks flying with her paws to scare the bird towards Bukaera and not the other directions.
Now it was Bukaera's turn to catch it, she had made it simple, the bird would be flying in his direction all he would have to do is catch and kill it. It was nice, being able to hunt with someone else for once. Watching as the bird went closer she waited maybe they could spend more time then they were originally planning on doing. It just felt nice being around him she didn't want to loose that feeling.

He took the chance and pounced on the bird. It didn't take him long to kill. He was fairly proud of his catch. He grinned up at Hariti and brought his kill to her. "That should satisfy us for now." He said. Carfully he set it down between them and started to eat.
"So where would be the best place to start looking? Where have you looked already?" he asked trying to narrow down their options. He knew that this was going to be a hard task and the fact she didn't really remember her family made it harder. It would be interesting to see how long it would take to find the family. It would be more interesting to see how long he would stay with her, he thought.
"They would probably be near some sort of body of water is what I am thinking. Do you know of any major watering holes around here?" He thought that would be the most likely spot to find her family.

Hariti smiled as she watched looking at the other as he brought the bird closer to her. "Yes this should be good for now, you caught the so quickly." Hariti leaned down taking one of her dainty bites. It was an odd taste for meat but it had been so long since she had had bird it would taste a bit odd for her. Looking up at him after she had eaten.
"I have looked all over this particular area. We would have to travel a few day's to reach and area I haven't looked into yet." She frowned slightly looking away from him to look down not really sure if she wanted to leave the area, the thought scared her slightly as the area had been her home for such a long time. Leaving the area that was her home since she was a adolescent.
"I suppose they would have to be we will have to search to find one outside of this area though." The more she thought of this the more uncertain of if they would find anything she became. What if her family had joined a pride... Or if something had happened to them...

"Hunger made me want to catch it quicker," he responded with a grin, taking another bite. He listened to he speak. He noticed that she sounded a bit hesitant. Was she scared. He couldn't imagine why she would be. He put his paw on hers to comfort her.
"Don't worry Hariti. I will be there for you. Nothing bad will happen to you. I will stay with you until we find your family," he smiled at her hoping to cheer her up. "I am sure they will be excited when they see you. Maybe they are looking for you, just as much as you are looking for them."
He cleaned himself off a little bit, not liking the blood on his paws. Messes were something he detested. "I don't mind traveling to find your family. I'll stick with you for how long it takes. Even if they are on the other side of the savannah." he promised. He held her paw tighter. "I love going on little adventures like this. It gives me a chance to see new places, so in a way you are doing me a favor by letting me tag along.

She calmed slightly when she felt his paw covering her's. that was strange she had never been comforted so easily. Well at least he was able to if she had been unable to calm herself it would have been a bad thing. The trip out or this area was an amazing thing to be able to change from. Going to find her family would be a fun trip even if they didn't manage to find her family they would at least have the joy of being able to see more than the area they were in.
Hearing what he told her she smiled looking at the other." Smiling she looked at the other and nodded. "I would hope that they are. I miss them even though I never really did get to know them." She smiled looking over at him and letting her tail flick from side to side.
He knew how to travel then something she didn't know. She could hunt and had incredible luck but she had no idea on how to actually travel around. "You will have to teach me how to do so... I have no idea how to travel, I have spent my entire life in this area. It's all I know." She hoped that Bukaera would be able to help her while they were traveling.

He took one final bit, finishing off his portion of the bird. Once he was ready he looked at her. "I'll teach you everything I know. I've been travling every since I escaped from my old pride. It's much harder than staying in one place. You never know what is in store for you when you travel. What ever happens to us out there I will keep you safe."
He looked up at the sun. "We should probably get going we don't want to spend too much time playing around when we can get traveling. Are you ready to go?" he asked, realizing it is her journey not his. They should go when she is ready. He was excited to go, he loved adventures. She was going through an ordeal, he thought. When they finally found his family her whole life would change. He couldn't imagine what she was thinking about now. Hopefully her family would accept her and welcome her back with in them. If not he would find a proper home for her where she would be safe.

She smiled softly looking at him nodding. "Thank you. You really have no idea how much this means to me. I trust you to keep me safe while we are traveling. That was never at question." She looked up at thee sky at his question. "I am ready to go whenever you are." She was starting to get a bit excited now not that it was easy to see just from looking at her.
The nervous energy was building inside of her ready to set off. Would they like her? This family she had not seen since she was a cub. Would they let her join them again? She didn't know but it was going to be a nice journey either way. "Yes... I'm definitely ready to go. Lead the way?"
