Maia was in the park patrolling after work, she hadn't even gone home. She gotten off, gotten away, henshined up and started her patrol. She hoped to possibly get done early tonight and maybe have some popcorn and watch a movie.
So of course she was prowling the park, we more like strolling the park, keeping an eye out for the unusual, an ear open for a cry for help, those kinds of things. So far everything seemed mostly quiet, nothing really out of the ordinary and Maia felt confident that she'd be getting home at a decent enough time.
She grinned to herself as she moved through the park, but then she sensed something, though she wasn't entirely sure what exactly she was sensing. It was weird, sort of familiar, but not really. She wasn't really sure, but she headed toward whatever it was.

What the eternal senshi felt was a cat. A specific cat who was again hunting. He didn't see or hear any birds but he was stalking about the park in the bushes. Wet, though not soaking wet, the Negaverse captain turned kitty was busy. Something, he wasn't even sure what, had caught his attention. It wasn't a sight but a sound, and he was on the trail.
What he had head was a squirrel, he just didn't know it. Whatever it was though he was on it's trail, listening to rustling sounds his ears swiveled and twitched as they remained focused on whatever his goal happened to actually be. Maybe he should have been paying attention to his other senses, like the one telling him senshi. But alas he wasn't.

Maia was not really shocked to see what she was sensing was a cat, it sort of put her at ease to see him there ears swiveling. It was odd thought that he seemed not to notice her, but it really matter not, he seemed focused on something else. She didn't really want to disturb him.
Her clicking heels came to a halt a few feet from the cat and she just watched with a light smirk trying not to giggle at the moving ears. Maia heard the rustling and looked up to see nothing, but it was obvious the cat heard it so when went a bit stiff listening herself.
She didn't really feel anything aside from the very odd cat so relaxed after a minute and finally decided to speak. "Hello there, um are you looking for something? Perhaps I could be of some help?"

That voice startled him from his thoughts. Turning he hissed loudly, little claws coming to poke out from their sheaths and digging to the ground under paw. "You could find out how it's come to be that I'm stuck as...as this!" His tail lashed and a paw raised to indicate his currant form.
Lovely, this senshi. It wasn't that this one was particularly violent, rude, or in any way unpleasant. It was simply that this was a senshi and he had been working hard to avoid them. The dark star on his forehead didn't stand out as much as it could have, something to be mildly thankful for as he didn't wish to broadcast just how he was abnormal to everyone; not to mention he didn't need one more way in which to stand out in a crowd.

Maia frowned deeply holding up her hand, "woah, woah, woah calm down there." She knelt down before sitting her legs tucked beneath her bottom and motioning for the cat to come closer. It was dark and she could hardly see the star, not with fur as dark as this one had anyway.
"Now you say you're stuck, as if to say you weren't stuck not to shortly ago," she said with a slightly confused look. "I'm sorry but I'm not entirely sure what exactly it is that you want me to explain. I do not know how you came to be stuck or exactly what you mean by that. The only cats I have seen as not cats, or rather half cats I guess, are ********* and Zirc."
She looked up to the sky sighed for no real reason. It was just a habit of her that she had developed and did quite often. She gazed at the sky sometimes even while talking to someone making it appear as though she talked to the sky.

"I am quite calm, I assure you. I just want this - "He gestured again to himself with a single front paw. "fixed." He finished as he moved closer to the senshi. He knew she wouldn't hurt him, though she may get a good laugh out of his apparent new form. How embarrassing was it to be a cat of all things? He was hoping Painite didn't take any pictures of him like this, he would honestly never live it down if there was evidence of him like this. He was sure of that.
Growling he shook his head rather vigorously, tail lashing rapidly behind him as climbed right up into her lap. Standing on his back paws he placed his front paws on either cheek of the eternal senshi's. "I am not a cat. I am a Negaverse agent you should be rather familiar with. Thus this is not normal for me, it is a state I have come to find myself in." How did she not know who he was? Was it really that hard to tell?

Maia watched as he motioned awkwardly with his paw, a very human gesture and she again found herself trying not to laugh more than understanding fully what exactly he meant. She was a smart girl, but as a things got very bent quite often, so sometimes, yeah.
She was growled at and then she had paw on her cheeks and the kitty was explaining and Maia eyes grew wide. Her hand went to either side of the cat, picking him up and looking at him, "you have got to be kidding me. You look like any other guardian cat, but not really I guess not."
She sat him down in her lap absently scratching behind his ears and thinking for a moment, "I'm sorry, but I do not really recognize you. I mean you don't exactly resemble yourself. If I had to guess I would say, just by the fact that you seem not to hate me is that your the blonde negaverser I talk to."
She looked to him to confirm or reject her assumption.

"Of course not." How he wished he could roll his blue eyes right now. How stupid, of course he wasn't normal from the basic guardian cat. "I'm not supposed to look like this." He was really not amused with being a cat, he wanted this to end and now...before he went and killed and ate another rat - ick. He was not hoping for a repeat performance of last nights incident with the rat.
He didn't even realize he was purring, from the scratching, till he heard it and whittled down every other option on what that deep rumbling about be. It was very odd...but not necessarily a bad thing. The list of other options it could be was short, a car, her, some growling animal but he hadn't heard any other animals in the area that were big enough to make the sound he was making.
"Yes, Benitoite." The first time he ever spoke his name to her, the name to his second half - his other persona.

Maia frowned, "this isn't good. When stuff like this happens things never go alright." She shivered slightly. Enough was really enough, after the surrounding it would have been nice to get a break, but it seemed that wasn't going to happen.
She looked at him and nodded, "Benitoite," she repeated in a whisper committing the name to memory. She placed the negaverser kitty on the ground before standing and looking around. "I'm not sure just how you got this way, but I'm going to try to find out okay, before things get nasty." Maia couldn't help but to think another great youma was the last thing they needed.
"Before that let get you something to eat. I sure having been human yesterday you don't want flambeed rat," she said with a slight smile.
Beni was a negaverser and she knew she probably shouldn't feed him, but right now he was just a cat, so she didn't feel guilty. Besides she bet Alex would feed Beni, so she'd just do it for Alex.

Should he explain what he'd felt? He thought it would be a good idea, perhaps she could aid him as unusual as it was to seek aid from the enemy. It may help, he'd already met that cat *********. "I've met one cat, *********, earlier. As for what happened I know I felt something, energy, pass over me and then I shrunk." And obviously he became a member of the feline family.
"I did raw rat last evening, a repeat would be something to avoid. So yes, proper food would be appreciated greatly. I am not intent upon being coated in blood and eating from an open caucus."Blunt and right to the point of the matter, he had had his nose stuffed into an open and dead rat's body. Thinking on it he gave a full body shudder and is tail twitched even.
"For now I will trust you not to turn on me whilst I am in this form, and only because we have thus far not fought each other." He did not like trusting the enemy, even this senshi, considering his highly vulnerable form.

Maia nodded, "Yes I know *********. I met her many times. Did she say anything about this situation? I didn't feel anything, but maybe I wasn't in the same area as you when it happened."
Maia frowned deeply when he said he eaten raw rat, she had to hold back a gag. "That disgusting. Negaverser or no, you certainly don't deserve rat casserole. Just tell me what you want and we can try to find it, I've some money in my fuku, so I can get you a little something."
Maia shook her head slowly, "Im not going to hurt, don't worry. Even if you had try to kill me before this I couldn't hurt you. Your just a cat. I hope you're not insulted."
She was on her feet again motioning for the other to find her. She hoped to find a late night place, but first she needed a hoodie. "Wait here okay. I just have to get something." With that Maia quickly tree hopped off to grab a plain black hoodie, one she usually only wore on the coldest of nights. She needed it to cover her fuku. She most certainly couldn't walk into anywhere and buy anything looking as she did.
She came back pretty quickly hoodie in hand, plain black, before quickly pulling it over her head cover the majority of her fuku. The bottom of her skirt peeked out and the ribbons from her sash hung down, but otherwise she did not really look out of the ordinary.
"Now we can get you some food."

"I don't know if that is her proper name, she gave me a list of names by which she answers. Though The others seemed too distant or in most cases too intimate. Being that I'd only met her ********* was the name I've settled on calling her by. I'm glad I've seemed to settle on a name by which you know her as well." It made things easier really. "She said only that she is looking in to things, gathering information, and I gathered that I'm not the only one in this situation. I do not know how this occurred nor anything else." A fact he disliked immensely. He needed to know!
"Anything normal, I'll refrain from being as picky as I usually am. Though pasta would be quite nice." He liked pasta, with vegetables, and a nice wine sauce. There was also beef in a red wine sauce with mushrooms. He had more expensive taste in food normally, he was not the sort to heat a can of soup or microwave a tv dinner. "Something fresh is all I really ask."
"I'm not insulted by your words, I'm more insulted by being a cat." He stated while he reminded himself that she had never hurt him and wouldn't now. He could, for now, trust this senshi and he needed her right now anyway. Sitting he waited for the senshi's return as he glanced around, how odd this must be and how would it look if he and here were seen? The thought was brushed away as he focused on waiting for the senshi's return.
He wasn't expecting a hoddie, but then again what should he have been expecting? He couldn't think of anything else, she certainly wasn't going to take her civilian form and come out to take him for a meal. Senshi weren't that stupid, even if some were really stupid.
"Sounds good, lead the way." Nodding his head for her to start for wherever she had in mind. He wasn't going to pick a place for them to eat. Standing and stretching his blue eyes focused up on the hoodie wearing senshi, well most people wouldn't notice. He just hoped no one came across them, especially some Negaverse officer. This could, and would in all likelihood, look really bad for him if it were to happen.

Maia looked slightly confused, but didn't voice her confusion. She had only ever heard of ********* being called just that and every that she knew that knew ********* called her ********* as well. She guess in the end it didn't really matter so she just listened to what he was saying.
"Your not the only one huh and ********* doesn't really know what happened but she's on the case. It sort of like a mystery, never minded a good mystery book. I think I'll try to find ********* later or maybe Zirc see if anything new comes up or if maybe I can help in some way."
After she had gone and returned with her hoodie making sure most of all the wings didn't show she grinned at Beni before pulling up her hood and moving to exit the park. Obviously we will have to get take out because hoodie or no I can't walk around like this for too long, but I think if I can find an open pizza place I can get spaghetti or ziti."
She looked down the cat Beniotite following her with a small smile before looking up to the sky. What an off sort of truce the pair had and it seemed to be holding up which was quite frankly surprising. "I really don't get you sometimes," she said mostly to the sky, though it was obvious she meant Beni.

"Either she doesn't know or she won't tell me. I figure it's likely that she won't tell me." Rolling his eyes. Honestly, if anyone should know what was going on he should; considering he was affected by it. But he didn't mention that he had a right to know whatever had happened!
"I offered to help *********, however I don't think she wishes for me to help. I do plan to find out whatever I can." Which would be given to Painite, he wasn't about to tell a senshi everything he knew especially when he figured they wouldn't tell him whatever they found out. And he couldn't exactly get the senshi here and Painite together to discuss, it simply wouldn't work. For a brief moment he wondered what would happen if senshi and Negaverse came together to figure out a problem, like this one.
"Hopefully someone will figure this out, before it causes a panic of parents and other civilians." Who knows how many people were cats and how many families it may upset. Some family, odds were for it, would start something and get the media involved for sure.
"Spaghetti with a nice red sauce maybe some veggies with it?" He asked, hopeful. He was reall hoping for some nice vegetables to go with his meal, Alexandre did like his veggies unlike the supposed normal teenager who didn't. That whole assumption was a bunch of B.S as far as he was concerned anyway, some old perceived normal teenage thing.
"Oh? Why's that? I figure I'm not hard to get, at least I don't believe so." Curious, sincere, eyes turned up to the eternal senshi as he followed at her side. "Because I'm a member of the Negaverse and serve Chaos? Is that it?"
