⋆ History :: Eric wasn't born wealthy, being in a miner's family in 12. But, he was born smart, kind, and beloved. Everyone liked Eric, even those who tried not to. He was just a a lovable guy, and handsome to boot. Needless to say, he had many a girl chasing after him, and he let them down as gently as he could. He had his eyes on another woman, one who would later become his wife. Anyways, back to the story. When he graduated school, he went to work straight in the mines and was horrified by the conditions there. Sure, he'd heard of it before, but hadn't known the whole truth of it until he got down there. He started working to get into the administration of the District in an attempt to gain better conditions, or at least benefits, for those who worked in the mines. Eventually he became so popular among the people that they wouldn't rest until they saw him as Mayor.
