As soon as Oki was revived in the Pokemon Center, me made it abundantly known that he wanted to go battle again. Anise tried to protest, but Oki refused to be deterred. Shortly after, Oki was scurrying around the stadium, looking for the Joltik he'd battled before. That last match was just luck, he could beat it if he fought it again!

Howell had quickly revived Joltik after the battle, and though the boy was against battling again (Joltik was his friend, not a pokemon he used for every day battle!), the electic spider type had made its opinion clear. It wanted another fight. It wanted to prove itself.

Oki raced through the stadium, looking for any sign of the bug. Finally he caught sight of to walking onto another battlefield. Now was his chance! Before the Joltik could notice he was there, he dashed after the Joltik in hot Pursuit.

As the sparking web flew towards Oki, he growled. Not this again! He tried to jump out of the way, but was too slow. A bit of thrashing got the worst of the web off, but he didn't wait to get the rest and just snuck right up for a Faint Attack.

Oki dug his feet in and tried to resist the bolt of lightning, but his efforts did no good. He resisted the urge to yelp as it hit him, then rushed forward to Counter the attack.

Again a bolt of lightning lanced down from the sky and struck Oki. He whimpered slightly from it, but tried to pretend he hadn't and dashed forward for another Pursuit.

Oki started thrashing his way out of the net before it even landed on him, and in moments he was ready to fight again. He howled as he used Night Daze, which made waves of inky blackness shoot towards the Joltik.

Howell was concerned. His poor Joltik... He knew it would only take a short rest at the Pokemon Center for the spider pokemon to be at top form, but still, the idea of causing it pain... It bothered him. "Use electroweb, Joltik!"

The Joltik looks a little wobbly to Oki. Was it getting tired? He tried to leap at it again and got a facefull of web, which too him too long to get off. That stuff really stung! He growled as he got it off, then immediately used Faint Attack to pounce at the bug.
