The breeze was a bit cooler than it had been in days past. Amira loved this time of year. The cooler weather was a nice change, and she normally spent the day high in the air. She loved the wind flowing through her wings, but more importantly, she was normally left alone while in the air. when she got tired, she spend a few hours resting her wings, and then it's back to the air for a while again.
Lately Amira had been doing a lot of thinking. A new friend had talked to her about her true inner feelings, but Amira still had a hard time grasping what she should do. Coming from a family that had royalty in it, she always felt judged by others, even though they didn't know her. For this reason, she tended to stay away from others, and she didn't even really know her whole history. She needed time to ask many questions she had wondered about, and planned on getting these answers soon. Not today though.
Amira was ready for another break from flying. She glanced down and saw another mare in the meadow. she was in one of Amira's favorite spots to land and lie for a while. "Oh well," she thought, " there is plenty of other area down there." Amira landed about 25 feet away from the other mare, and planned on just ignoring her surroundings and taking a short nap. She figured the other mare wouldn't want to approach her anyway, no one usually did.

Alinea had been wandering for many months now, still unsure of what to do with her injured heart, but along the way she'd met some interesting Soquili, had a little adventure on her own, but it wasn't like she had gone out of her way for it, not yet.
Once again the fluffball goof came to mind, always cheerful, always looking at her as his best friend, never anything more. She had to get over it, but that would be another day she worked on such things. A delicate mare landed near her, near enough that Alinea could see the markings, and though she mostly tried not to notice, she saw the necklace around the other mares neck and smiled, must be nice to have such charms on a girl. Taking a deep breath she threw caution to the wind for once, she wasn't going to get anywhere if she kept on lurking about and sulking, now was she?
She offered a small greeting to the other mare, knickering a bit, "Are you a stranger in these parts as well?" It was polite, she didn't think anything of how she was talking or who she was speaking with, it was just some chatting to break of the monotony of the days that passed so slowly while she sorted out her heart.

Amira was just about to settle down for a moment when she heard the mare speak. She looked around to see if it was only the two of them. She didn't think that another soq would talk to her, a mare at that. After a few momenst of looking and realizing that this mare was indeed speaking to her, she finally answered back. "Oh.... Um... Not really. I come her every so often.... Is this your area?" She asked. 'I'd... be... happy to leave if it is. I don't mean to intrude."
Amira was trying to get a sense of feeling from the mares words. She didn't sound intimidating, but Amira couldn't get a full feeling in her tone.
