 Since the day that he met her, Tsuzuki had not been about to get Aella off his mind. Even now when he was sitting in a field of flowers all he could think about was Aella. Granted he was in the field of flowers waiting for the vixen to show up so that might have something to do with it. Grinning like and idiot he kept scanning the idea trying to catch his first glimpse of her. When he had left Aella it was to go home to meet his father's soon to be mate, and every day away from here had been torture.
He wasn't sure what it was about the vixen, but she had captured his attention so profoundly that he couldn't concentrate on anything else. Even sweets! The one love of his life was tasteless if Aella wasn't with him. His mind was completely boggled.

 Aella giggled, weaving in and out among the flowers as they were tossed around by the light breeze. She was feeling very light-hearted this day, and not all of that feeling had to do with the lovely scenery.
She'd missed Tsuzuki quite a bit when he left to go visit his family, more than she'd actually missed anyone she considered a friend. They'd arranged a place to meet up after his visit, based on how far Aella could travel in a day and how long Tsuzuki wanted to spend with his family. If both had calculated correctly, (and Aella hadn't gotten totally lost), today was the meeting day and this should be the right field.
"Tsu~zu~ki! Where are yoooooou~," she crooned out in a loud, sing-song voice, wondering if Tsuzuki was near enough and could hear her. That would be so awesome, cause he was taller and could fly and would probably see her before she saw him.

He was starting to get impatient with waiting for her. Aella was supposed to be here by now. Right? Tsuzuki looked up at the sun and tried to guess the time, when that failed he started walking around in a circle looking into the forest. After another hour he was starting to worry that she might not be coming. Head sinking down, he looked at the ground sadly.
But then a voice reached his ears and he could swear that it was his name being said. "Hm?" Slowly a smile formed on his face. That was Aella's voice! His tail started to wag behind him as he flapped his wing and took off into the air. He didn't know how far away she was, but he could get there faster if he flew himself.
"AELLA!"

Aella hadn't really expected a response to her call. Tsuzuki might not even be here yet, and it was entirely possible he'd decided Aella was a bit too odd and skipped out on her. Even if he hadn't and she got her directions right and everything, it was far too easy to find him just by calling out. Shouldn't the heroine have to go through a series of epic quests to rescue the.....
What was the male term for a maiden again? Manden? Hmmm, she'd work on that.
Mandens and quests aside, Aella was very surprised (though very delighted) to hear her own name shouted back not long after she called out. "Tsu~zu~ki," she called out again, hopping around and generally wiggling about to make herself more noticable to the speck of white/black/purple-rimmed blue in the sky.

Flying around in the sky he searched for the vixen, but unfortunately he caught no sight of her. Frowning, the thought crossed his mind that me might have been imaging her voice. Maybe he missed her so much that the wind had begun to sound like her voice. After searching for a couple more minutes he landed tail between his legs.
He had imagined her voice, and now he was depressed that it hadn't really been her. Pursing his lips he looked off into the forest and wished that there was some way that she could just materialize out of the trees to ease his crushed heart.

Aella watched the speck of color flutter around the sky, then land. She pouted. Maybe it could have been her imagination, but if that was Tsuzuki then he was in for a serious pouncing when she caught up to him.
"Fluff butt, where are yoooou," she called out, putting every bit of volume she could muster into the shout. She even fancied she scared a few birds in the trees of the forest on the horizon.

(lol poor blind tsuzuki)
Tsuzuki was pouting as he looked at the ground, at least he was until he heard the voice again. "It IS Aella!" He beamed as his tail wiggled behind him. Since the air flight had been an epic fail on his part then he decided to investigate the origin of the voice on land. Perhaps he would have better luck that way. Smiling at his very brilliant plan, he started to run towards the sound of her voice, hoping that he was going in the right direction.
"Aella...if that's you! Then keep talking so I can find you!" He called out loudly, lifting his nose to sniff the air. Maybe he could track her by scent. Granted the wind was going in the right direction. He hoped.

Aella's tail swished, very much like a cat who was pondering poucing something, then she heard Tsuzuki's voice. Her tail picked up a bit more speed and a grin spread over her face. Ooooh yes, she would make sure to call out so he found her. And when he did...
Nothing was better than a tackle-style pounce, in Aella's opinion.
She pondered over what she could call out for Tsuzuki to follow. Of course she could always talk, but she might have a slip of the tongue that would alert Tsuzuki to her pounce plans. Hmmmm.
She opened her mouth, and started singing. It was a funny little ditty about a kookaburra and a gum tree, and was lively enough that it should give Tsuzuki a steady stream of sound to follow.

Tsuzuki finally walked into the area she was in and beamed as he looked around. He knew that she had to be somewhere in here because her voice was too close to mistake it for another place. "Aella!" He called out happily as his tail wagged behind him, "Where are you? I know you're here!" he had followed her lovely singing voice to this point.
He had been so happy to hear her voice that he couldn't think about anything other then finding her and hugging her close once again. Tsuzuki missed her like crazy, and he could not contain his happiness any longer now that he knew they were in the same area.

WHAM!
"Direct hit," Aella crowed triumphantly, drapped over Tsuzuki's neck and shoulders like some weird kind of shawl. She was glad she hadn't landed entirely on his neck, that probably should have hurt.
"Missed you," she sang out in a happy voice, turning her head to butt it against Tsuzuki's cheek.

To say that he was surprised would have been a drastic understatement. He was surprised, and happy, and he wanted to do a happy dance. Not that he knew one, but he figured that he could throw one together real fast if the need called for it.
"Aella!" He turned his head around and nuzzled the vixen behind him, "I missed you more. Oh god...it is so wonderful to see you." He croaked, his eyes simmering slightly with tears. "I wasn't sure if you were going to come or not."

Aella pulled out her best pout. Her lower lip stuck out just enough, had the right amount of quivering without being too much, and her eyes were very wide and pathetic-looking. She could trademark that pout, that's how perfect it was.
"Silly! How worried do you think I was, shouting for you and jumping around so you could see me in the air and you didn't even spot me! I thought maybe you were gonna abandon me or something."
She hung her head so her hair hid her face, and sniffed like she was about to cry. Really she wasn't that upset. If Tsuzuki had decided to ditch her she'd have hunted him down, pounced him in a lot less friendly fashion, then go on her merry way. She just liked to tease her giant fluffy friend.

Tsuzuki had the good grace to blush, "I thought that I saw you in the forest but I was afraid that my mind was playing tricks on me because I wanted to see you so bad." He smiled sheepishly at the vixen, then looked at her down right stunned.
"I would never abandon you! Never ever!" He quickly shook his head, "Aella how could you think that? You mean the world to me. I would never do anything that could hurt you in any way."

Aella dropped the pout and pulled on her cheerful face again. "Good! Cause I'd hate for you to have to see my petty and vengeful side." She blushed a bit, scuffing the ground with her paw. "I mean I don't ever get that mad often, but I guess that's why I say it's petty as well."
She looked up, grinning brightly. "But it's all moot cause you didn't abandon me, and I didn't abandon you, and here we are talking about gloomy stuff when we should be having fun! I haven't seen you in ages!!" She stepped forward and leaned against Tsuzuki's front legs in a very cat-like gesture of affection.

Tsuzuki laughed as he leaned down and nuzzled against her softly. "We should have fun. it has been way too long since we got to be together. Why don't we celebrate?" He licked her cheek as he grinned like a cat that ate the canary. "We can go anywhere that you want...do anything you want to do. As long as we can do it together."
He smiled. Being back with Aella made him the happiest he had ever been. It was amazing how much he had missed her, even in that short amount of time.
