There isn’t much to stay about Gretchen’s life. Pretty normal growing up. Loving Mom and Dad, who were as doting as any other parents were to an only child. They sheltered her a little bit. Most nights with them were spent reading or talking about a book. They weren’t big on Tvs or computers. They were hippies kind of. They like to grow food in the back yard and do things as a family. They taught Gretchen to sew her own clothes and crochet so she didn’t have to buy new clothes from a sweat shop, or something. They weren’t the biggest fan of public schools but Gretchen went anyways. Though she was pretty sure it was because her parents wanted to berate the system. And to give her more homework. One report for the school and one for her parents, if there was ever one they disagreed with what was being taught.
With all this works, Gretchen is a pretty smart girl. But she never went to college because she didn’t see the need for it. Instead at eighteen she left home and just roamed. Her parents couldn’t be more proud. Now she has been in this town for a year now. She now has a pretty tom cat named Alfie that she loves. She works at a coffee shop to pay the bills and enjoys it because she can just read all day.
