It was dark. Well, of course it was dark, it was midnight. Lesath had come out of one of the mirrors that Requiem had shown her team of Dark mirror senshi during the one meeting that they had, and she was making quick work of draining some stupid homeless guy that had found it amusing to whistle at her and say she had lovely breasts.
He was right, of course. She did have lovely breasts. And, perhaps it was good that she was taking him out of the picture. Now this creep wouldn’t be able to make any other girls feel uncomfortable with his actions. See? She was a hero. Collecting energy for the greater good of her team and ridding the world of scum.
What a grand night. The dark mirror senshi placed her mirror wraith into the mirror shard in her hand and slipped it back into her pouch, before taking the unconscious hobo and throwing him through the mirror, leaving him in Mirrorspace to continue to feed energy to Ares and their cause.
Well, that was easy. She wanted some fun. Why did Remarque get to run into those stupid White Mooners and she still hadn’t gotten to have a confrontation with anyone. Oh well. Boring would just have to do for the moment.

Midnight, and all is well.
It had become a habit for Celsus to repeat this sort of mundane mantra in his head over and over again as he patrolled, walking through the streets of Destiny City like a shadow.
So far, the evening had been quiet. He had not run into any Negaverse, nor had he stumbled upon the ones who called themselves Dark Mirror Senshi. A fortunate experience, considering his last fight had gotten him nowhere.
I have a feeling I'll see that one again quite soon, Celsus mused quietly to himself, hands linked behind his back as he paced silently across the street towards the abandoned lot several yards away. He's not one to...
But his thoughts were interrupted by the shivering of a power signature down his spine. Celsus stopped, one foot half-raised to take a step as he closed his eyes, tilting his head just slightly. The foot went down after a moment, and he continued on his course, arriving at the scene just in time to see a man flying into a mirror, a slender blonde looking around boredly.
"Good evening," said Celsus. "Nice night for a stroll."

Aha. The answers to her prayers, perhaps? Something to get her mind off of her boredom. The power signature caused her to begin to turn before the voice spoke from the darkness, though, when Lesath turned it was with a broad smile.
“It is, isn’t it though? So crisp and cool tonight. It’s almost close to scarf weather, don’t you think?”
Who was he…he didn’t seem to be a senshi…a knight. Is that it? One of those troublesome knights…Oh! For a moment, she vaguely remembered him from the surrounding…her and Remarque had been about to kick his a** or something like that. Oh well. Pity it wasn’t that other little page that she so wanted to tear apart. What had her name been? Bah. Maybe this clown would know.
“What brings a little thing like you out on a night like tonight? Isn’t it time for good little boys to be in bed?”
It didn’t matter if he were older or younger, he was still a boy. And…she could talk how she wanted. It came with the job.

He vaguely recognized the blonde from the Surrounding; she had been standing with Remarque at the time, with the former having only just barely been awakened. Celsus had no idea what her name was, nor did he remember anything else other than that flirtatious, silky smile she was giving him again now.
He did not trust that smile - nor the smooth way she tried to speak.
"Probably," he agreed amiably, walking with his hands in his pockets slowly towards her. "And they probably are in bed, as good little boys should be."
Tracing a slow pace around the girl, Celsus tilted his head towards her, lifting one brow.
"What of you?" he asked her lightly. "Haven't you got elsewhere to be?"

“And where else would I want to be but right here enjoying this wonderful talk with you. By the way, where’s your little friend? The girl that I went after in the Surrounding. Do you know her? I was hoping to run into her one of these days…but instead I seem to have found you. Ah well. Old faces and all. I suppose I should say that it’s nice to see you?”
She shrugged, moving lazily to the right.
“Also, you’re starting to act quite like a shark, did you know? Are you trying to intimidate me? What’s your name anyway, boy? And what’s the name of that other girl that I’m looking for?”
He had to know her. She was…made? Created? Born? Whatever. She came into existence on that damn rainbow road, right when Mary ceased to draw breath. She was the cause of Mary’s death, like something…growing out of a dead body! The senshi must have used Mary’s body to feed this monster and have it come forth.
Yes. Because that made so much sense.

The confusion on Celsus' face was clearly evident.
"My little friend?" he repeated, in a bemused sort of voice as his eyebrows drew together, Celsus attempting to figure out just who exactly this girl was talking about. Remembering the events of the Surrounding was a bit like trying to remember a dream; everything seemed so fragmented and blurry, like it had not really happened.
Though the fact that he was standing here as Celsus, a page of Chronos, clearly meant that it had happened.
"I'm sorry," he said, with a rueful smile. "I'm afraid I haven't the foggiest idea of whom you are speaking about. I'll have to get back to you on that."
An amused expression replaced the confused one. "A shark?" said Celsus, and tapped his chin thoughtfully. "I find that quite interesting, but no, I'm not trying to intimidate you. If I were, you'd know, believe me."
He laughed and shook his head, his reddish hair falling into his eyes before he pushed it aside, glancing over at the blonde before ducking down into a sweeping bow, arms outstretched.
"I am Celsus, a page of Chronos," he said grandly and deliberately melodramatically before straightening, smiling brightly.
"And who are you, beautiful lady?"
