Lecila walked into the stadium and blinked. Didn't she do this before? Is there a time lapse or something because she could have sworn that she was battling on a seashore field. No. Lecila shook her head. She is imagining things. Lecila walked to the platform where she is suppose to stand while Kashti, her Dratini, snaked his way onto the very dull field. It had a large pool of water for water pokemon and the rest was just concrete of some kind.
"Let's see what we get, Kashti." Lecila looked up at the dice and pressed the "Roll" button as she waits for the other trainer to arrive.
(So you roll a single dice of 100 and see if you or I go first. Keep the HP points in your post all the time. Do not delete a post if you make a mistake on the roll but post again. Intro post does not need the HP in it though.)

Yylaayl was wondering around when she saw the huge stadium. She decided that it would be fun to trying something new. Sadly, she had no pokemon, and there was a huge mob of people crowding the entrance. Well, what was the harm in trying? She somehow made it through the entrance and to the rental stand, where she was allowed to rent a very cute Joltik....named Joltik. The two of them were magically sent to some magical place, where they saw another person and a dratini.
"Let's do this!" She said to the Joltik.

Lecila noticed that the other trainer has arrived as she hummed to herself while she waited. It seemed to be a young trainer as she recognized a rental pokemon, as it had a leg band that said 'Rental'. "You ready for your first battle?" Lecila shouted out to the other side of the field. "Even though this is your first battle, don't think I will take it easy. It's best for you and me."
Lecila watched Kashti wait almost impatiently for the start of the battle and looked at the screen of their rolls. "It looks like I get to go first. So I will start with, Incinerate!"
Kashti took a deep breath and released a large jet of flames at the bug pokemon.

[Seeing as your pokemon is a bug type it takes a super effective hit. So 100 + 50 is taken away from your HP. XD Questions? ]

"Whoa" Yylaayl said as the opponent's dratini's attack hit the Joltik. "Are you okay?" she asked it. It seemed to give off a feeble nod. "Okay then! Joltik, use Thunder Wave!"

Lecila just crossed her arms as she watched Kashti dodged a Thunder Wave. That would have been pretty bad if it worked but luckily for them, it was a miss. "Nice work, Kashti. Good way to keep on your...uh figurative toes." Lecila grinned at the joke. "Let's use that again, Incinerate!"
Kashti once again, set a jet full of flames at the bug pokemon.

"Oh no! Joltik, are you okay?" Yylaayl asked the little electric/bug type pokemon. Even a beginner knew that the little bug type was at a disadvantage against a dragon type that could use fire attacks. "Try using thunder wave again!"

Kashti dodged the Thunder Wave nimbly once more and yawned. This was turning out to be an easy win it looks like.
Lecila smiled at the yawn. "We need to stop that Thunder Wave before it gets us. Use Ice Beam!"
Kashti charged up an icy ball of energy and released to towards the electric bug.

Yylaayl felt very sorry for the poor Joltik. It had managed to dodge the Ice Beam, but it wasn't doing so well in the battle. None if its attacks were landing, and the attacks from the dratini were really effective. "Joltik, use Frustration!"

Kashti flew sideways at the attack as if it was a slap but it was just energy. When Kashti reopen his eyes, the water was licking his body as to encourage him to continue the fight. Not that he needed encouraging but he got up nonetheless.
Lecila nodded to Kashti in acknowledgment at Kashti's action. Always get back on your feet even when you are down. "Give some payback, Kashti. Incinerate!"
Kashti took a deep breath and flames erupted from the dratini's mouth.
