Rolled a three: Grass field: The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustles the flat grassland arena that has replaced the default stage. Small clouds of harmless pollen fly through the air from the breeze. The land is completely flat, making maneuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS and BUG type attacks

Genesis stepped up onto the raised trainer's section of the stadium once more, surprised but not disappointed with the random field choice. It was the same as her previous battle and, reminded of it, she sent Erebos forward before anyone else could take his place again.
"Second time's the charm," she muttered, then looked towards Doyle to make sure he was ready.
In the meantime, she traced the field with her eyes, noting the dips and protrusions of the earth for anything that might prove beneficial for the battle. She was genuinely interested in this outcome, as Ark had proven herself a worthy fighter before.

Doyle nearly groaned seeing the same field again. He wanted to try all of the fields at least once but it seems fate had different ideas. "Alright Ark. Let's try this again. You'll be against Erebos this time." He said watching as the Zorua took the field. Ark looked up at Erebos and grinned. This should be interesting.

"I'll be leaving this to you," Genesis called, settling down to a comfortable sitting position. Simply because she was interested didn't mean she'd have to stand for no reason for the whole thing.
Erebos flicked his tail to show he had heard. Without another word, he started up a Force Palm attack.

"Well if they're going to play it that way." Doyle said when he saw the Force Palm attack, "Ark! Make him learn your toxic ways!"
Ark perked up hearing the command to poison the Lucario. She had dodged the Force Palm easily and now darted up close to spit some toxic stuff at him. "Zuuuu."

Genesis nearly laughed out loud at that. Both were so quick they had dodged one another. At this rate, it would be a dance more than it was a battle.
Erebos circled, dodging the smaller Zorua in the motion. With a grunt, he used the shortened distance between them for another attempt at Force Palm.

Doyle shook his head. Looks like practicing on aiming was to move up to Ark's training list. "Ark watch... never mind." He muttered.
Ark was moving to keep Erebos in sight when he hit her with a Force Palm on the back left leg. She froze, paralyzed for a moment. "Zu."

Noting the success of the attack, Erebos followed quickly with a Cross Chop. His arms glowed a dangerous how white as he neared the Zorua.

Just before Ark was able to move again she was hit with the Cross Chop. She fell down, her legs giving out with the force of the attack. She quickly moved away and shook her head. She glared at Erebos growling, "Zooo." Soon her psychic attack was (hopefully) warping the room and making everything seem odd.
Doyle nodded with approval when Ark used her Extrasensory attack. He had forgotten that she knew it, for it was an odd attack for a dark type to have.

Erebos replied to the other's growl with one of his own, his eyes locked on hers. The fur of his neck bristled cautiously when she began her strange, warping attack. It disoriented him, leaving him unable to properly evade, and he was hit with its full force.
Tumbling some feet away, he remained unsteady on his feet for a few more moments before running at her with another Force Palm.

Ark was thrilled her attacked worked so well. So she wasn't prepared to jump away from the Force Palm. Instead she felt everything go numb and unable to move. Narrowing her eyes she prepared to use Facade. She just hoped her body would move.

Erebos leapt to the side when Ark attempted to retaliate, her paralyzed limbs slowing her movements enough for him to dodge her attack without a scratch. Despite the wounds that had already been inflicted upon him, he was still quick enough to take advantage of the Zorua's momentary lull for another Cross Chop.

Ark was furious that her limbs were not working like they were supposed to! Her attack completely missed due to this. She wasn't even able to move out of the way of the Cross Chop. However since it put him close to her, she tried to use Facade again.
