[>] Background: Losing his family at a young age, seeing them slain in front of his own eyes by people that were suppose to protect and serve, he grew an inner anger that he himself couldn't control and attacked which caused him to be severely injured and taken to a hospital. He was 9 at that time, having many bone fractures and internal bleeding, no one knew if he was going to make it. Someone was watching him, taking him, and finally injecting him with some sort of chemical that later proved to be a power that he himself didn't know. Having an inner energy source allowed him to display his energy in physical form, creating kinetic energy that can be released from his palms along with lightning of pure energy, then transferring the energy into a metal shell that resembles a hilt of a sword, producing a pure energy weapon that becomes solid and strong as a sword.

[>] Powers:

->- Kinetic Push: Using energy from his body, Derrick can transfer energy from his core to his palm and convert it into kinetic energy, use of motion providing an almost invisible push of energy. (Note: The kinetic push is used to push objects or people away, it can't hut or heal unless it forces the person in motion into another object. Can't be used at a long distance.)

->- Lightning Storm: Using energy from his body, Derrick can transfer energy from his core to his fingers and release pure energy, which in this form is lightning. Using the lightning from his fingertips, he engulfs his opponent with said lightning to drain the will from that victim. (Note: The Lightning Storm is used to shock opponents, slow them down, and drain their will, long exposure may cause permanent skin damage, nerve damage and brain damage to the victim, possible death. The user will have permanent skin damage if using the technique long enough.)

->- Energy Blades: Using energy from his body, Derrick can transfer energy from his core to his palm or empty hilt and form a physical beam of energy that takes shape and has the same physicality of a sword, but it does produce heat unlike a sword. (Note: Its not going to be a lightsaber, but its form will look like such, the weapon has been lowered to that of a sword so that it doesn't shred through everything.)
