How did she meet Aza'zel? The encounter often slipped her mind, though the fox itself hadn't. She wanted to see him often, though Phanes found herself near her family more often then not. She had a feeling if her brother Erebus ever felt like Phanes was being taken from him he'd flip, and Nyx would grow suspicious and follow Phanes, moderting her time with Aza'zel.
She had to say she was surprised by her fathers lack of care of the matter. Sin seemed to blink a blind eye at her affairs these days, though she had a feeling that if she ever were to romantically get involved with Aza'zel then that would change, and quickly. Not like Phanes saw that happening... Aza'zel was a kind man, in her opinion. She was a china-doll. China-dolls were put on display, not cuddled in affection less they may break.
So here she was, sitting by the river in thought. Her nail was digging into a flailing fish. It had been Aza'zel to mention that perhaps she wasn't to weak to cause harm to prey.

A rabbit dashed across a male foxes vision. Lunch. The fox lunged at the rabbit and easily caught it. This would be a little something for his china doll. Aza'zel was wanting to see her. So he carried the rabbit in his mouth, in a way that it wouldn't die until they reached Phanes. He spotted the red blood splattered vixen. She was currently playing with a fish. "Phanes." Any normal fox would smile at seeing someone they like but Aza'zel's face was straight. "I brought you a snack." He had the rabbit under his paw.

Hearing her name, she looked up to spot Aza'zel. Smiling slightly she moved to meet him, spotting the bunny under his paw. "For me?" Nodding at the male, her paw releasing the fish. It didn't move, long dead. Watching it with a blank expression she used her tail to whap it back into the water, now turning her glance upon the bunny which was far more interesting.
"Thank you." The vixen mused, probably the only child of Sin and Lamia to say thank you. Well, maybe Nanna would, too. Watching him with dark eyes, paw raising to poke at the rabbit. Oh, it was alive!

"Of course it is for you."His red eyes darted toward the fish in the water. Fish were nothing. Rabbits were definitely more enjoyable. When the vixen thanked him he simply nodded. She was the only fox to thank him. Maybe that is why he found himself growing more attached to her. "Have fun with it. I can always retrieve more if you feel like you have messed up." The male sat back and watched Phanes. He was curious about what she would do with the rabbit he brought her. Maybe... One day he would bring her a deer.

Holding her paw down on the rabbit she watched it squirm, ears back. What was she supposed to do? She had seen Nox and Nyx simply stomp on their skulls, she tried once and wasn't able to. Perhaps... She remembered something Erebus had done.
Using her claw to rip open the rabbits stomach, she held it down as it screamed, twisting and flailing as the organs fell out. Watching contently, she worked at making the gap larger. Then, it stilled. Bored with it she looked up at Aza'zel, tail flicking.
"I saw Erebus do that."

"Interesting technique." He eyed the guts, then found the what he was looking for. He took a claw and puled out a muscle that had spasmodic movement here and there. "The heart." He nudged it toward her. Perhaps she would think it was as interesting as he thought it was.

Watching him pull out the heart she blinked, looking up at him. "It is small and still beats faintly." She looked down, resting her body against his as she eyed the heart. Such a tiny, pathetic little heart. Looking up at him she frowned.
"How big is a fox heart?" She asked, head tilting. She had never seen one before.... Were they as small as a rabbits? Oh dear.... was hers that small? Was that why she was weak?

"A foxes heart is much larger than that of a rabbits. The exact size I am not sure of." He thought pack to a human book. He didn't understand the odd runes of the humans but he understood the pictures. He put both is paws together and made them a large lump. "Around that size. If not a tad larger. Larger animal need larger hearts." His heat tilted slightly. "Why were you wanting to know."

"I was curious. Maybe my heart is unnatural since I am so weak." She mused, looking up at the male quietly. When she nodded and looked down at the rabbit that now was dead and still she nudged it with her paw.
"Though perhaps it is something else." She added quietly, looking up at the male. "Did you come up here just to see me?" She asked, tail flicking side to side.

His eyes scanned the area, then he looked down at the vixen. "Why else would I come here. I do not know this area that well." His tail flicked slightly, he knew the rabbit would be no fun to play with now. He blinked and looked to Phanes again. "Since I am here, what do you want to do with me."

Phanes looked up, smiling softly at the male. "Depends on what you are up for." She mused softly, tail flipping over his for a second. "Aza'zel." She said his name with a curious tone, ear flicking once. "We always do what I want to do, however, this time we should do what you would like."
She watched him, her dark eyes narrowing softly. She would not take no for an answer, not today.

Phanes was the only one who would push him like this. He snorted, then sighed. "Fine then. I am going to take you somewhere." His eyes narrowed slightly at the girl. "But you will not know until we get there." His tail flicked. He looked around, then up at the sun. He knew which way but he wasn't to sure on how long it would take. "Let us go now, I want to have you back before dark."

Phanes nodded at the male, content when he voiced his own desires. Good. he was showing what he wanted. Though, was this a date perhaps? Could she consider it as one? Either way, did it really matter? She was spending time with Aza'zel, that itself was enough.
"Alright." Was her response, slipping right beside him and looked up at the male. She was sure he'd protect her, she felt safe with him.

With that the male nodded. A slight breeze picked up and he felt the winters chill. Good, now he had something else to do for her. "Come close to me, the wind is chilled." If the wind picked up more he would shield the vixen.
He checked the position of the sun and headed in the direction of their destination. They had traveled for a while, the forest trees grew thin as Aza'zel lead them into an abandoned human territory. The buildings were run down, most in shambles and crumbling, most over ran by foliage. His eyes swept the land, this place brought back memories. A chill went down his spin, yet he still stood there without a flinch. "Be cautious. Not everything here is safe." He looked at Phanes, he would watch her like a hawk in here.

Slipping beside him as she was told, she allowed his furs warmth to seep into her, tail flicking idly side to side. Dark eyes glanced about, listening as the male led her. She wasn't often taken around, seen as to fragile to do so. It was gratifying to be taken out and shown about, and when they reached the land and he warned her it only drove a slight smile onto her mouth. Fragile and yet still taken here.
Her eyes drifted about, locking on a corpse of a deer in an alley, rotting and ripped open, it's insides removed for the various animals that had taken from it. She knew if she approached it mice would leap from inside, scattering. Her father had taught her not to approach dead creatures for they held disease and diseased mice.
