It's spring break at Mornington. Some of the students have returned home for the break, other have opted to stay at the school. All teachers are expected to stay at the school to help keep the students still at the school in order.

Dafne smiled at her friend as they stretched out the picnic blanket beneath the large oak tree. "Thanks Stephan." She smiled again. Though he would never see her smile. Being a dryad, Dafne almost always wore a doctor's mask over her face to prevent any unwanted affections.
"Yeah no problem." The young man sat down as he watched the girl get stuff out of her large picnic basket. The girl had thought of everything, from napkins to the drinks. He wasn't even sure why he had agreed to come. It was probably because he had nothing else to do.
Roman had decided he would go to Dafne's little picnic party. After all nothing else was going on around the school, and who would want to pass up free food? "Hey flower, dragon's breath." Roman waved as he walked up. Oh boy he could smell the food, his mouth began to water.
"Hey Roman!" Dafne waved as she set out cups for everyone she had invited. "I'm glad you decided to come out!"
"He hasn't yet Dafne." Stephan said laughing at the face the werewolf made. "What, no ones around to hear us make gay jokes. Besides you make jokes about everyone else. If you can dish it you can take it. Witch, from what I hear, you're good at doing."
"******** off dragon's breath." Roman growled taking his seat on the blanket.
Dafne just laughed. She knew those two, they went back and forth fighting like brothers. But they never came to punches. Though she had worried a few times.

Savannah had just finished off the last bite to her lunch. "So thanks for joining me. But I kinda have some stuff I have to do." She said lamely.
"Like going to jump the vampire's d**k?" Alvin asked taking a sip of his water.
"I think it's cute you two are spending so much time together." Bengali said with a smile. "Young love."
Savannah laughed nervously "I don't know what you guys are talking about. Honestly. I got work to do." Savannah stood and excused herself. She wasn't proud of her actions, but she went for Kasey's room any ways. Before when ever they ended up at one another's door they would have some excuse for being there. Now she didn't bother, he knew why she went to his room. Sex and what ever else happened.
Knocking lightly she waited for the man to come to the door.

Alvin was next to excuse himself from the little lunch group. "Well I will catch you guys later." he said standing and throwing out his trash on his way out. He made his way to the co ed hall. Walking up to one door in particular he knocked and waited for the room's owner to answer.

"Hey losers, what'd we miss?" Marestrella approached with the second half of the motley crew. She placed down a basket that they had brought along onto the blanket and took a seat beside it, opening it up and nodding for Aleksi behind her to bring the cooler there as well.
Aleksi dropped the cooler onto the ground beside the blanket and took out a soda, then took a seat beside Marestrella, "Hey guys, how's it going?"
Although Abigail was better known for her lack of giving a s**t, she was a rather shy girl, so when she came up, despite the look she wanted to give Stephan, she hid herself slightly behind Aleksi as they approached, then opted to sit on the other side of Marestrella.
The mermaid gave the small girl a bit of a suspicious look, and knowing she could read minds, thought loudly, Go sit next to him, you p***y. She didn't look over though, and she smiled at the others, "How are you guys?
Meanwhile Abigail tried her best not to blush. Oh, look at that. It was time to pretend she had gotten a text.

Kasey's door opened, but he wasn't standing behind it - not in the traditional sense anyhow. He was walking on the ceiling, shirtless, as otherwise his shirt would be falling over his face. "Hey." He leapt down and landed on hi feet, though close to the ground, and stood straight once more, "Can I help you with something, Ms Hunter?"

Gabby was sitting on his own couch enjoying a midday glass of wine and a stack of high fashion magazines when there was a knock on his door. He rolled his eyes upon finding it was Alvin and waved a hand to allow the door to swing open, "What?" He didn't take his eyes off of the Vogue.

Dafne began pulling snacks out from her bag and passed them out. "Oh nothing much just happy to be free of home work!"
Stephan nodded his head and stood to get a drink from the cooler. Pulling out a two soda he poped one open and took a seat. Not where he had been at, but beside Abigale. "Hey." Stephan held the other soda out to the girl.
Roman frowned. "Where's that horny b***h?" He said looking around.
"Right behind you dickhole." Suzette said walking up smiling at everyone. "I brought along my plus one. Everyone this is Cadence Tanblin."
Cadence gave the little group a nervous smile and waved. "She's new to the school and has no friends, so I told her she had to hang with us case we are cooler then everyone else."
Dafne smiled "Nice to meet you, come on over and enjoy the food. I made BLTs, salad, and some Gazpacho."
Roman was up and taking one of the grilled BLTs Dafne had been talking about. "I know you don't eat meat Dafne. But is bacon the best you could do?"
"I don't know how to cook meat Roman let alone what to make with it." Dafne said with a glare. "If you don't like what I made then don't eat it."
Stephan laughed and jumped in. "You'll have to forgive Roman, he just thinks because he is a pro at handling meat so should everyone else."

Savannah jumped when he landed on the floor. She knew he could do do stuff like that, but it still made her nervous. "It's a full moon tonight." She said with a frown. "And I noticed most of the werewolf students are still on campus." Savannah walked in past Kasey not caring that it put her close to him for a few moments.

Alvin walked in and shut the door behind him. "You skipped lunch, again." Alvin walked over to the couch and sat down. "It's not healthy you know." Nervously Alvin folded his hands in his lap and curled his legs up under him. Something about being alone in an intimate, not always, situation with Gabby made him jittery.

"Hey." Abigail managed, trying her best not to sound like she cared. It was pretty tough though. She took the can he offered and thanked him quietly before she turned up to see Suzette approaching with the new girl.
Marestrella laughed and leaned over to slap Stephen's shoulder for the joke at Roman's expense. Those were always the funniest. "You're a funny a*****e." She turned back to Roman, "Speaking of you handling meat, I hear your boyfriend really sucks."
"Is that really appropriate, guys? I'm trying to eat." Aleksi made a face. It was hard for him to stomach their conversations and enjoy a meal at the same time. He turned to Dafne, at least she probably wouldn't be talking about penises. "Thanks for making the food Daf, it's really cool of yo-"
"Get a ******** room." Marestrella replied in an exasperated tone, "My god, Leksi."
"You know, you could try to not be a b***h for like, five minutes, maybe you could get a boyfriend."
"I have a boyfriend."
"Maybe you could dump Nemo for someone who's not a loser."
Abigail nearly blushed for the poor girl. "God Mar, they're right, you're such a b***h."
"I know." The mermaid sighed before she smiled a wide smile and high-fived the small blonde beside her.

"And what? You want to stay the night?" Kasey turned to face her as she walked by, "I kind of just count on you being here all the damned time anyway."

"I can't look good in my clothes with a fat a**, Alvin." Gabby stated the line rather matter-of-factly. Most likely because he said it all of the time. More importantly, though, he was still looking through a magazine. He glanced up though, which he likely wouldn't do for anyone else, "Is there another reason you're here?"

Dafne almost dropped the bowl of Gazpacho when she heard the mermaid's comment. "I do not!" She countered childishly.
Cadence laughed and took a seat beside Suzette. "Can I have a soda?" She asked.
Stephan being the closest, grabbed one and tossed it to the girl. "Catch kid." He laughed at the Dryad as she blushed wildly under her mask. "I bet you've seen under more then just her doctor's mask haven't you Aleksi?"
Roman scoffed. "Please, he hasn't gotten that far yet." He took another bit out of his BLT. "For a plant you sure can cook Dafne."
Suzette leaned over and took a bite out of Roman's food. "Hum yeah not bad." She got up and gabbed herself some of the soup and looked over to Roman again. "Damn wolf, take smaller bites, you might choke."
"Um Sue, you realize he has no gag reflects?" Stephan asked taking a sip out of his soda and setting it down, letting his hand sit down on the small girl's beside him.
"Right he ruined it with all those blow jobs in the gym locker room." Suzette laughed again.

Savannah rolled her eyes and turned to face him. "You know they all practically worship Roman, and that kid has it out for me." She said with a shudder remembering the kid's evil glares. "So yeah. You have to keep them from eating me." Savannah walked all the way into the room and went for the drawer. Where she had developed a small stash of clothes.

"No." Alvin said trying his best to seem nonchalant. "Eat a salad like the rest of us people watching our weight. I practically live off the stuff." Alvin scooted over and laid his head on the other, presumably, man's shoulder.

Abigail's face brightened almost cartoonishly when Stephan rested his hand on hers. She tried her best to avoid a scene but at the same time she didn't want to jerk her hand away. What would he think? She swallowed hard and thought maybe no one would notice. Then there was that blasted mermaid.
"So what's this?" Marestrella gestured to their touching hands with the same hand she was holding a soda with, "You two like 'an item' now?"
Abigail jerked her hand away quickly and turned away turning even redder, if that was at all possible. "No!"
"Don't bullshit me." Marestrella laughed, "Seriously. What's up?"
"Come on, why do you have to pry so much? All of you, it's really rather dickish, you know." Aleksi rolled his eyes and turned to the girls, "Ignore them all, really."
Marestrella shrugged, "We're just curious, it's our nature. And besides, you don't have to be shy, you're among friends. We're all completely supportive of all of the fraternization within our little group."
"Nosey, not curious. There's a difference." Aleksi corrected her, "We don't ask you about your imaginary boyfriend, you should leave the rest of us alone."

"He's not going to kill one of his teachers, no matter how good it'd be for his grade -and judging by that kid's work ethic, I'd say it'd be very good for him- he knows how bad it would be for his people. Everyone's all about appearances you know."

"That's too much work." Gabby scoffed, "You know I don't like numbers." He tossed the first magazine onto the table and sighed, "What do you need?"

Stephan was about ready to choke the mermaid. Sighing Stephan grabbed his soda and gave up trying anything more on the poor girl. He wanted her to like him, not make her pissed because the mermaid didn't know how to keep her mouth shut.
Roman sighed and fell back, his head landing in Suzette's lap. "It's the full moon tonight. I am gonna go ******** wild this moon. Most the pack is still here. We all agreed to go out into the woods to let lose this time."
Suzette rolled her eyes. "Don't rape any hikers Roman." she combed back some of his messy hair, his hair always seemed to get shaggy around the full moon.
"Shut it b***h. I don't have sex in wolf form that would be like so ******** up." Roman shuddered. "It's like the only thing the wolf will agree to."
"Why not, it would save you the trouble of getting on your hands and knees." Suzette laughed.
Cadence found this interesting. She had never been friends with a werewolf before. "So what do you mean agree? I mean you're still you, right?"
Roman shook his head. "No. It's like having more then one personality. Except the one I have is a wolf, he thinks, acts, and reacts like a wolf. We don't talk, just have this weird understanding. After all he's a wolf, school and stuff doesn't mean anything to him, he just likes hunting and freedom. I suppose being stuck in my body drives him a bit crazy."
Dafne rolled her eyes. This conversation was safer then everyone's sex life. "So Cadence, what are you? If you don't mind me asking." Dafne took some of the soup over to Merry, Abby, and of course Aleksi. "Here you go."
"No not at all. I'm a muse." Cadence said with a smile.
"Oh you're from the Greek pantheon like me!" Dafne said brightly.

Rolling her eyes Savannah pulled out a large t-shirt and began to undress down to her underwear. "Either way. The kid scares the hell out of me." Savannah pulled the t-shirt on and turned around to face Kasey. "So what appearance do you have to keep up then hum?"

"Numbers have nothing to do with eating salad." Alvin rolled his eyes and turned his head up to look at Gabby. "You just assume I need something. Maybe I just came over because I was worried you were bored." Alvin didn't make a move to get off him. Just relaxed a little more against him.

"Cadence, do you have a boyfriend?" It was just like Marestrella to start there. "I'm just curious because, since Abby and Dafne clearly aren't dating the guys, they seem to be free to date anyone right?"
"You know, the rest of us moved on." Aleksi explained to the mermaid, but she wouldn't buy it.
Shaking her head, Marestrella continued, "No, see, if that were the case, Abs would have stopped blushing, and Daffy would be able to look you in the eye."
Aleksi sighed and turned to the new girl, "You'll get used to her, I promise."
"At the very least you'll get better at ignoring her." Abigail added, which was probably a bad idea.
Marestrella turned to Abigail and smiled, "Have you two even kissed yet, punk?"
Abigail's face flashed bright red again and she turned away quickly one more.

"I'm a hard a**." Kasey replied simply, "But that's not for my race, that's for my job. When it comes to the rest of the being a vampire thing, even if the humans think we're monsters, we have to be civilized to keep good standing with the others in the underground with us."

"Well obviously I am, I'm stuck here." Gabby replied. Though that wasn't true. He could be anywhere in the world in a flash, but he chose to sit in his room reading fashion magazines. Equally as fun, sure, but as he didn't actually have anything to do, it was boring. "And don't lie, you came here for your own selfish needs.

Cadence flushed. "I have someone." She said trying not to think to hard on that. She was still rather confused on what happened.
Dafne tried to move the subject along again since Cadence didn't seem to like the subject any more then the rest of them. "So anyone want home made ice cream sandwiches?"
Roman's hand shot up. "I want, and babe, if you never want to have sex, I'll marry you just for the food."
Suzette hit Roman. "I am your pretend girlfriend remember that a*****e."

Savannah sighed and walked over to the bed to fall back and rest. "No one will ever doubt the hard a** part." she said with a laugh. Crawling all the way onto the bed Savannah snagged what was becoming her favorite pillow and snuggled it.

"But you're not complaining. Or throwing me out. So you can't call it selfish." Alvin said sitting up slightly to move it and kiss the side of Gabby's neck. Alvin was never pushy when it came to being with Gabby. For some reason he found himself feeling compliant.

Marestrella just rolled her eyes, these guys were so boring sometimes. It was then she felt her phone in her pocket. She pulled it out, read a text and smiled, replying. She then started off into her own little world of happiness and texting.
Aleksi cocked a brow and stared at the mermaid for a long moment before he replied, "Hey Mari, aren't you gonna tell us all about your personal business on your phone there? We're all dying to pry into your business."
"Hey," Marestrella caught on, but still defended herself, "I only ask when I know both parties involved. You back off."
Aleksi rolled his eyes and turned to another conversation, "Wow, looks like pretend significant others are pretty big around here."
"He's not pretend." Marestrella stated from Aleksi's other side, but he ignored her.
Abigail slowly turned back to the conversations, rather, back to Stephan, and she gave him a small smile, "They're all crazy, huh?"

"You know that's not yours, but you're getting rather possessive over it. I'm just telling you now if I ever want it back you can't take me in a fight." Kasey didn't go to the bed though, he went to his desk and took a seat, picking up a pair of glasses and sliding them on, he touched the screen of his computer and it lit up from its hibernation and as he slid his finger up the document scrolled with it. He sat back for a moment before he began typing again.

Gabby shrugged, "Whatever." He thought about it for a moment before he sighed and flicked on the television with a wave, "What do you want to watch?"

Roman was gobbling down his second ice cream sandwich. "This s**t is good."
Cadence was slightly confused. "Sue, you're his pretend girlfriend?" She took a sip of her soda and held it in her lap.
"The werewolf here is gay. But only us really know. I am his girlfriend around anyone else." Suzette said taking the last half of the ice cream Roman was eating. "And from our relationship I gain status witch I would normally not have."
Roman couldn't stop the little growl that trickled out his throat when the girl took his food. It was too close to the full moon. "Oh so Cadence. Seeing as I am ruined if anyone finds out I like men. You tell a soul and I wont hesitate to kill you." His eyes going from brown to wolfy amber.
Dafne finally took a seat, looking over at the giddy Mermaid. "Since you're with friends why don't you talk to him later?"
Stephan had tuned everyone out. "Yeah crazy." He had a small smile, a rare action for the teen. "How's your classes going?"

Savannah held onto the pillow and rolled over onto her back. "Um it's not like you really use a pillow. You move in your sleep! I should get to keep it!" Scooting to the end of the bed she laid upside down her head hanging off as she watched him work. "And I don't know what you're talking about! I could take you." Savannah looked up to the ceiling and wondered what it would be like to walk on it like Kasey did.

Alvin sighed and curled his feet up to rest under him again. "I don't watch TV it's rather stupid if you ask me." He was sure his intentions were known. Alvin just wasn't sure if Gabby was rejecting him or not. So trying for a more less the suddel approach Alvin sat up fully and sat himself in his partner's lap before trying to steal a kiss.

Marestrella rolled her eyes and continued to text, ignoring the other girl's suggestion.
Aleksi leaned over and placed a hand on Dafne's shoulder gently, "Don't read too much into it, she's a b***h to everyone, really." He knew the girl wouldn't, they were roommates after all. But any chance to call Marestrella a b***h couldn't be passed up.
Abigail was still trying to suppress all of the color in her face, but nothing seemed to be working. "Classes are good." She managed to mutter before she cleared her throat and managed to ask in return, "Yours?"
Aleksi turned his attention to Roman and the new girl, "I wouldn't let him intimidate you. On the outside he may be a wolf, but on the inside he's a bunny. A big, gay bunny."
"Like, he farts rainbows, gay." Marestrella added, pocketing her phone.

Kasey just laughed to himself at the comment, "Of course you could." He ignored the fight about the pillow. because she would probably end up using it that night too, but he didn't care as long as it stayed with him. He kept his focus on his computer screen, though.

Gabby rolled his eyes, "Jesus, you demand attention like a cat." He submitted anyhow, giving the fairy a quick kiss, but he sighed afterward, "You don't have work to do or something?"

Kitty, in a panic, parked her car in Nick's driveway, leapt out and ran up to his door, already calling for him. When she got to it, she knocking continuously, determined not to stop until he answered. "Open the door, dammit, it's an emergency!"

Roman rolled his eyes. "Please. I eat them ********."
Suzette laughed "Only if it's a boy bunny right?" She ruffled the shaggy mess Roman called hair and turned to Cadence. "He really just talks a big game."
Dafne frowned though no one could see it. "Meri has her moments of nice." Unlike everyone else around her, she could never utter a curse word. They were foul and she found them unattractive to say, or hear. But she had become accustomed to hearing them.
Stephan smiled "You should know." He chuckled and took another sip of his soda. "I'm passing if that's what you mean."
Roman decided to throw his two cents in. "Um passing would be anything higher then a C buddy, all Ds hardly count."
"Shut it c**k breath." Stephan hissed. Someone had to learn to keep his temper down. Stephan sighed relaxing as quickly as he could. No need to scare anyone.
"You don't worry my fire fly. I could kill your light with a swat of my gay little paw." Roman said holding his hand up and bending it down like gay guys were known for doing.
Dafne stopped the little spat from getting worse. "Roman would you like another ice cream?"

Savannah was trying not to disrupt him from the work he was clearly focused on. But with five minutes of being quite she was bored. "Why were you walking on the ceiling? If you say cleaning I will laugh."

Alvin frowned. "I do not. My cat claws my legs." His confusion grew. Could Gabby not tell he wanted sex? Maybe he would just have to be blunt. "I do but I figured we could have sex." A pin had fell from his thick hair, a long lock then dropped from the intricate way he had it up. Reaching back he picked the black lock of hair up and repined it. His hair was just too long not to keep it up.

Nick had probably been sleeping for no more then an hour. He had had the odd shift at work, again. Either way the pounding on his door made him jump, groan, and walk to the door. His mood lightened when he saw it was his girlfriend. "Hey babe, where's the fire?"

"No, she doesn't." Abigail replied to Dafne first before her attention was back on Stephan. "Well, what are you having trouble with? Maybe I could help."
"I don't think he's taking French, Abby." Marestrella replied with a scoff.
"Can you just shut the ******** up for like, twelve minutes? Is that too much to ask?" Abigail gave the mermaid a nasty glare.
Shrugging, Marestrella spoke again, "I've been trying, you guys just make it too easy for me." She turned to Stephen, "Let's put it this way, Stephan. She would like to-"
Aleksi jumped to Abby's rescue by throwing an empty soda can at the talkative mermaid's head.
"Damn it, mind your own business." Marestrella hissed.
"Mind yours!" Aleksi threatened with a full can this time.
Marestrella just rolled her eyes and pulled out her phone again, but instead of texting Jesse, she pulled up Stephan's number and decided to text a line from one of her favorite movies "The Little Mermaid",
It don’t take a word, Not a single word, Go on and kiss the girl!
She giggled to herself and pocketed her phone once more.

"Nope," Kasey replied, "Brainstorming. Really gets the blood flowing, hanging upside down, you know." He began to type away at the computer rather quickly.

Gabby made a contemplative face and shrugged, "I don't really feel like it."

Kitty pushed in past the man as panicked as she had been racing to the door. She looked like she might hyperventilate, really. After another series of deep breaths she finally managed to explain what was happening. "My parents are coming. Oh my god, my parents are coming."
