A new building. A new start for all. One easily notices that there is not a lot of interior decor, only a few indoor plants, a couple of desks piled with paperwork and many chairs. One could say in comparison to a car, it has that awkward new car smell to it.
Not far from the Factions of Piece HQ is a lively wood. Many wild and edible creatures live in here. This is a perfect place to hunt, or even address that sense of adventure that you have, tingling in your very bones. The woods are several football fields deep. The more you adventure in, the better you see a clearing on the otherside with a large protruding metal gate and fairly stable walls. Where the sunlight does not reach inside the woods, moss grows on bark and the roots of the trees. Be careful where you step, or you may not come back out. Small herds of deer can be seen every now and then, travelling to sustain their hungry bellies. The night is even more dangerous, a few of the carnivious residents are nocturnal and their bite is definately worse than their bark.

Artemis had spent many long days and nights at her desk, filling out paperwork and forms. She had fallen asleep on top of some paperwork which she had bunched up to use as pillows.

Agent Zi flung open the doors to the offices in the Piece HQ with a flourish--always in the mood for a dramatic entrance. Her stark white hair stood sharply against her skin, giving her otherwise pale face the appearance of color . Standing at an even six feet, Zi didn't need heels--but wore them anyway. Her uniform this evening was her favorite--a feminine fluffy black dress with a tie and collar. Her one eye scanned the room. It was the definition of disheveled. Just like home, she thought. (Some of her agents were notorious for getting behind on paperwork). Her lips curled into a smile as she spied Dragon fast asleep among some paperwork. She wandered over, planning to have a bit of fun with the sleeping chef. Carefully picking up a heavy stack of papers so as not to disturb Artemis, she remembered something Docta PH34R used to say to her when she was a young lab tech. Let sleeping Dragons lie... Well, Zi was never one for advice. She slammed the paperwork down as hard as she could on the desk making a rather large sound. "Already asleep, my dear?" she cooed, "But there is still so much work to do."

Artemis snapped awake as the paperwork hit the table. "What happened? Who's hurt?" She said, quickly shuffling pieces of paper around, flattening them and reaching for the nearest pen. Artemis secretly hoped that the pot plants were not harmed in her startling confusion. While starting to fill in more paperwok, Artemis scanned the room with her blue eyes for the source of the disturbance, only to find it was Agent Zi standing close by. Her posture relaxed when realising who was there. "Oh. Hello... I must admit I did not expect to see you so soon." Artemis quickly looked back down at the paperwork on her desk, "The paperwork is hassle, but it has to be done." She signed more pieces of paper as she spoke, eventually holding out a hand in attempt to be polite by offering for a handshake. "How was your journey here? I hope it wasn't too far you." She asked.

Zi grinned widely, and took the girl's hand. "Fantastic," she said, beaming, "We have teleporters, you know. I always enjoy testing the equipment--makes me feel like I'm in S13 again." She eyed the room. "Not too bad! I tried to get here as soon as I could!" Zi had been hoping for a more interesting awakening by the were-dragon--but, alas! She did get a smile out of Artemis' drowsy response. "Give me a tour?" she offered.

"Teleporters? They sound dangerous but effective." She questioned, as she stood up from her chair. " A tour? Of course, of course!" Artemis motioned to her desk, "Well, this my desk, feel free to leave me notes if I'm not there." The former chef walked a long side one of the walls, pointing out the bathrooms, supplies cupboard and the break room. Artemis made her way to middle of the room, "There's not a lot in here that I can show you, the furniture hasn't all arrived yet. Oh!" She hastly made her way to the main doors, "This is Steve, he's a pot plant." Artemis had a smile of amusement, naming indoor plants seemed to be an odd thing she did. "There is something, though that might be worthwhile to look at though." She made her way outside, holding the door open for Zi and pointed towards the woods, "The woods, seem like a nice to explore."

Zi had watched the tour with a bit of curiosity. The prospect of setting up something new seemed interesting to her--GiB had always been so put-together, she had joined long after it's creation. Of course, she had tweaked bits and pieces of her home organization as she went along--but nothing like this. The Piece HQ was starting from scratch. Steve the pot plant reminded her of a pet hologram she kept in her office, although Steve wasn't quite as sarcastic. Zi followed Artemis outside, and peered into the woods. She cocked an eyebrow. This was, honestly, the first time Zi had seen daylight in some time--months, maybe. She had never been a field agent, and had always felt more at home in a lab. These woods seemed cold and uninviting. She sniffed. "Quite lovely, my dear lady-- I imagine they are an excellent place to hunt?" she eyed the were-dragon with a smirk, "We won't be eating poor here, then I imagine." She turned back to go inside. Something about those woods were off-setting. She would have to ask a field agent or two to check it out and report back. Nothing around these factions could be perfectly normal-- there had to be some aspect of the supernatural at work in those woods--and if not, it would be a nice break from paperwork for her agents. Zi pushed a button on her wristband, and a mass of blue holographic numbers appeared before her nose. She scrolled through these sliding her fingers up and down, occasionally tapping on something. "Listen," she spoke as she did this, "I've ordered some our our excess and outdated machinery down here for the piece effort." She looked up from her work to eye Artemis. "Now, some of this machinery--although outdated by our standards--is still fairly high tech. If I find any of it has left this compound or fallen into the wrong person's hands, GiB will have to take action." The vagueness of this statement illustrated images of hoards of GiB agents neurolizing everyone in sight until nobody remembered Zi had even given out this equipment--much less that it ever existed. She grinned again, no longer all-business. "We're also setting up a teleportor here to make it easier for Piece members to travel here from their own HQs. We will need to get permission from the other factions to set up a conjoining port at their locations, but I don't imagine that will be too much of an issue--do you?" She smirked--"But don't worry, Dragon. These teleporters have been highly tested--they're not the prototype I used to get here today."

Her eyes lit up at the mention of hunting. Artemis quickly snapped out of the awkward trance, looking in awe at the blue numbers. "Thank you, Zi. I am sure that your outdated machinery will be put to good use here." She tried to reassure the Agent, that nothing bad will happen to machinery. Artemis started to think what would happen if something bad or worse did happen, hundreds of agents pouring out of a teleporter, cars and even probably even helicopters to neurolize everyone in sight. That will bad... She shook the images out of her head, returning to the conversation. "I don't believe it will be too much of an issue. You may set up one of these teleporters at the Resistance base, I doubt many would come from that direction anyway." There was something about teleporters that made Artemis uneasy, she wasn't quite sure what made her feel that way, but nothing could beat sporadic burst of flying with small wings in her mind.

Zi's work done, she slumped back into a chair. "I'll pass it along," she said, with a yawn. "I think this place would bore me, Miss Artemis. Not enough super science."

Amy was walking around in her casual attire looking around. The place looked pretty beat up but she knew it had potential. She chuckled at Dragon's and Zi's antics and shook her head as they left. Looking around she spied a nice room with a desk. She recently turned her old office over to Dragon. Amy just was not cut out to be the leader. Hive always was first in her heart. She walked into the office which was conveniently just across from Dragon's and started cleaning it out and getting it in shape.

"Perhaps in the next few days, you can get a group of agents together and we could go out and scope the woods?" She posed the question to Zi and left her to think about it. Artemis knew that if she didn't finish the paperwork soon, it would pile up quicker.
Artemis returned to her desk, passing near Amy. "Did you know GIB have teleporters now? Zi is getting some of her agents to set them up at the different factions to allow for better access here, only if they give permission though. Isn't that great!?" She flipped through a pile of papers, taking a look at some of them up close, before signing them off.

Teleporters would be nice but we get along just fine in our UFO's. I am sure Lyca would not like the thought of a teleporter in Hive. *Amy chuckles* We are strict on security. *Amy looked around at her new office and started missing the Hive.* 'Teleporters would be good but maybe we can have wrist ones for Hive.' Amy thought to herself.

"The teleporters all have body recognition," Zi chirped dreamily from her chair. "I wouldn't want anyone getting into our compound either. If you step on a teleporter without having the correct weight, dna, and retinal scans of a corresponding agent, you ain't getting in." She slid her shades on, and closed her eye. Now to wait for that machinery to come in.

Amy jumps. "Whoa! Did not see you there Zi." Amy clutches her chest. "I will talk to Lyca about it." Amy walks outside and climbs into her UFO. "Back to Hive old girl!" Once inside the UFO camouflages and flies off towards Hive.

Dragon held back a chuckle as Zi scared Amy just a bit. She needed to rest and walk around some more. She looked to see if Zi was awake so that she may offer her a beverage as well. Seeing that she was unmoving and probably having a quick nap, she ducked off into the break room, making herself a cup of coffee, before returning back to the desk. Sitting down, Artemis sighed. "It's neverending paperwork." I really should organise this place a bit better... Setting down her cup on her desk, she starting going through the mess of her desk, putting all finished paperwork on the chair and unfinished ones on one side of the desk, that she had cleared off.
