Enter Adderstrike blankspaceLarge paws hit the short grass below with a silent thud. Claws stretched and retracted, digging into the soft fresh mulch. Muscles were tight against the soft breeze, fur ruffling against it. A long tail lowered as a maw opened agape. A silent killer was tasting the air for a next catch. Lips had already tasted blood twice this day and there was hope of that continuing. Amber to gold hues glanced straight forward. What a beautiful and prosperous day this was for a good kill. Already this large feline had caught two fat hares. Hoping to catch something different, something with a little bit of a challenge, Adderstrike was looking around. What to go for now? This was what he was thinking, blackened ears twisting in all directions at different sounds.

Hawkpaw awoke from her dreams with a yawn, stretching out in her nest only to have hit Skypaw who groaned pawing at her sister's hind paw to make her move. "Oh sorry, Skypaw." She mewed heading out of the den and almost tripping over the other nest but made her way out, shaking bits of bedding from her brown striped pelt before looking back seeing her sister appear beside her before pawing at Skypaw's side knocking her off balance so she would wake up. "It's too earl-" Her sister was cut off as she lost balance falling to the floor with a huff she knocked Hawkpaw's paws from under her so she fell as well making both apprentices begin to laugh cheerfully. Then her sister quickly regained her calm expression pawing her sister's side as the brown apprentice rolled around comfortable in the greenleaf sun.

Looking up at the sky Adderstrike was allowing himself to rethink things over. He had indeed already caught two plump hares, why did he need to be out hunting again when the fresh-kill pile was stocked well for now. Turning on swift pivot paws, eyes darted in the direction of the camp. There was this feeling that a certain little sets of paws were up out of the apprentice den. It didn't take much thinking for the large cat to swiftly move across the grass towards home. It took seconds to reach there, just by trotting. Full sprint wasn't needed at the moment. Though, striding into campe, the many scents of the clan washing over his nose. Amber eyes easily spotted two sisters playing around with each other. A silent purr went through his vocal box as he chuckled. "Good morning Hawkpaw, Skypaw. I hope you two slept well." The tall savannah was pondering of taking his student out. Though, leaving Skypaw behind wouldn't be all too nice. Then again, she seemed to practically be his apprentice as well. He could handle both.

Hawkpaw pawed her sister's side once more before looking up at her mentor with the normal smirk on her face, "Hey fluffy!" She purred having always teased him but she meant no disrespect only that he looked more like an over grown rabbit then a cat to her at first.
Skypaw felt her ears flatten against her skull as she nudged her sister, "Be polite..." She almost hissed trying to keep her younger sister in line. It was pretty obvious how much different they were "He's you're mentor call him by his name." She scolded knowing her sister wouldn't listen to her making her sigh in defeat about helping her sister out of trouble, "Good morning Adderstrike."

Large gold eyes closed and Adderstrike had to purr in amusement. The two sisters always seemed to amuse him with their little arguements. Though, being called fluffy didn't agitate him as much as it used to. "Skypaw, we both seem to know it is quite useless to get your mouse sized sister to be polite." The savannah turned his head and ears in another direction to listen as a few other clan members spoke, sunning themselves. Turning back to the two he fidgeted his whiskers. "Either way. Hawkpaw, I would like you to come with me today. Going to check out the territory along the Thunderpath and Twolegplace." Paws were already uneasy, wanting to get a move along. Though Adderstrike knew he had to explain first what was going on. Sometimes he had impatience with himself. "Our leader also asked me to check out the barn there. Apparently there have been sightings of a few loners. Skypaw, would you wish to join us?" Adderstrike didn't mind.

Hawkpaw tilted her head to one side before nodding that she would go along, then looking at Skypaw who nodded looking a lot more relaxed then her sister who was kneading the ground inpatiencely, "lets go, come on!"

It was obvious that Hawkpaw was itching to go as soon as posisble. Knowing the munchkin was impatient to move, Adderstrike turned on his paws to lightly step out of the camp. Light on his paws and long strides, it didn't take too long. Before long the tall beast was turning his head and gaze slightly to the side and down. "Hawkpaw, you know the drill. Try to keep up Skypaw." The entire time Adderstrike had been mentoring Hawkpaw, it was clear she had grown muscle in her tiny body. Muscles were there under her fur. With all the running and specialized excersizes, it was a good end out. The apprentice could hold her own against the long legged cat's slowest running speed. Afterall, he was the quickest cat in Windclan. Though, the tom didn't like to show off. At the moment, he was keeping his strides shorter than usual, wanting to give the sisters a chance to stretch out their muscles first before he got into a better speed. First off though was towards the Thunderpath, off towards the mountain at the edge of their territory.

Hawkpaw stopped kneading the ground as she dashed off after him, keeping up pretty easily before looking back seeing skypaw trying to keep up but her sister was too slow. Making the brown apprentice slow down slightly to let her older sister catch up. "Try not to think about how you're paws get tired. Its easier that way." She meowed before starting to run faster seeing that skypaw was still trying to keep up.

Ears turned to the back and silently listened to Hawkpaw give her sister some advise. A purr of amusement ran through the powerful cat's throat. Slowing his pace a tad, Adderstrike stopped to a trot. Eventually it was to a normal walk. They had quickly reached the edge of their territory. Though, he had decided they were going to check out the barn first. Immediately though two different and new scents passed his way as he opened his mouth. There was something strange and wild about one of the scents. Time to check things out. "Stay alert at all times. If anything, do not attack until I saw so." Now it was time to head through the almost run down bushes.
(to the barn~!)

Through the bushes and onto the flat plains of Windclan territory. The familiar scents of the rabbit and the markers probably just refreshed maybe a little before the day-star started coming up. Standing in the sun, his coat shone to show just why he was indeed so healthy for a 'feral' cat. It was easy to spot the rabbits running here and there. And the occassional ground squirrel. Again, no matter. Adderstrike felt better to be in territory he knew like the back of his front paws. Such a beautiful piece of land. Turning his head, Adderstrike motioned with his head for the little troup to follow him. Already he could imagine in his head what Molly had to be thinking, or what she would let come out of her maw. Without looking back this time, he kept his gaze forward, in the direction of the camp. It wouldn't take that long to get there if they kept up with their medium level pace. Probably a few minutes at the most. Not much walking. Then again, Skypaw had to be tired by now with running all the way to the camp and back in a short amount of time. The tom would have sent Hawkpaw, but she was his student and she needed to be with him at all times when outside of the camp. The more the better. The more to learn. "We should be there shortly." Home sweet home. Turning his head he drifted his gaze to Skypaw, then to Hawkpaw, passing Molly, and locking on Savannah. What would Jaystar think seeing the two loners. Especially Savannah.

Molly's eyes whipped from one place to another, the open spaces were beginning to scare her. It was too easy for them to be attacked, granted it would be hard for an ambush to hide...But then again, if they were as wild as some stories made them out to be, then why would they? They knew this territory, and she and her friend did not. They could have traps set up all over, and she would never know it. When they got closer to the Clan's camp, her nose wrinkled as scents upon scents hit the roof of her mouth. "Just how many cats are in your WindClan?" She hissed accusingly at Adderstrike, noticing his glimpse of the group; save for Savannah, whom he left his eyes on to linger. Her ears perked as voices began to rise, whether in panic, simple gossip, or disgust, she wasn't sure. As they neared, she trotted ahead of her friend and blinked as the bodies of cats came into view. They lived in burrows! "Pfft, you'd think they've never seen a cat before. They look more like scared rabbits though; no wonder they'd be afraid. You are what you eat." She growled, keeping close to Savannah. "So what have you been eating? Lemons, rotten eggs? Oh! I know, spoiled fish! Besides, I think it's your personality that is scaring them." "Are you---ugh you are." "Are what?" "Dense! Stupid! An imbecile! How can you just stand there smiling at strangers like that?" "It's called being friendly, as I have said before; it shows I mean them no harm. A smile is when you lift the corners of--" "I know very well what it is and what it is for." She snapped, glaring right back at the odd cats when they stared. "You should use it more often, a little kindness goes a long way." She turned to face Adderstrike, her paws greedily kneading the soft soil beneath them. Her pelt was golden like the grass and fields just before sunset; when the world was covered in a golden blanket. The black spots and such looked as if they had been painted on, clearly there but somewhat faded. "I think your Clan sounds wonderful...Though at times violent, but I can understand that. Well, you won't have to be lonely at all or feel too different, because I'll be your friend, Adderstrike. You can always come to me if you have a problem, or if someone is making one for you." She nodded as if to confirm what she was saying, her tail whisking behind her excitedly as she nodded gently to cats as they passed. There was no need for aggression here, no one was shouting out anything harmful. If they whispered horrible things amongst themselves then so be it; she'd know who to be friends with and who not to be friends with...Though she wouldn't judge until she understood their reasoning and their thoughts and feelings wholely. Molly padded between them, her eyes narrowing again into furious slits. "Well at least you have some code to live by, and aren't savages feeding off anything you can kill." "Molly!" "What?" "There was no need-" "Ah, are we there yet? Where's your leader anyway? Lounging about someplace?" She made it sound as if the Clan cats were slaves, and their leader a lazy tyrant.

Hawkpaw's ear twitched at every single complain that Molly made, her sister holding her back by nudging her attention until she called her leader lazy. Her tail puffed angrily, "Don't you dare say something about a cat you don't even know or seen!" She snapped looking back with challenging eyes, it was pretty obvious she thought highly of they're leader. "Jaystar sh--" She was cut off by Skypaw covering her mouth with her grey tail."Shh, let Jaystar handle this, Hawkpaw." She meowed in a calm voice before stopping once they got to camp, seeing a grey-black she-cat slipping over to them.
Jaystar sat infront of Adderstrike and the two apprentices, "Welcome back." She meowed turning her icey blue gaze on the rouges before getting to her paws to look them over carefully. "Skypaw, take Hawkpaw hunting." She mewed her voice seemed a bit childish, but the grey apprentice did was what she was told going to join the patorl. "Adderstrike, As Skypaw told me, these two don't seem to know they were in WindClan territory."

She wasn't sure if she should speak, but she knew that she had to explain herself. She dipped her head respectively, and blinked. She resisted the urge to knead the ground uncomfortably. "We didn't Miss...Jaystar. We had no knowledge of the...Clans, or that the territory belonged to anyone until Adderstrike brought it to our attention. He informed us, and I sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings. We don't mean any disrespect, and we are not rogues, but we do need to rest, and eat before we'd...Move along to somewhere else. We just need a very small place to rest. The barn is perfect, though it has little sources of fresh water." She added, remembering the large buckets now soiled with mud. There had been no other drinkable liquids in sight. She chose her words carefully, implying that they would need to hunt for their food; though how they would manage that she didn't know. She was also making it clear that they weren't trying to steal, and that they could handle themselves, should she wish to punish them...But she wasn't aggressive, her demeanor was calm, her meow soft and melodious. She wasn't asking for more than what they required. The grey and white she-cat examined the leader, Jaystar. She saw nothing special there; just another bloke trying to rule as many alley cats did with their odd bands. "Pfft, I don't see why anyone should think the land belongs to them. As the cat passes, the land remains. You can say it is yours, but once you are gone it lays as if you never existed." Her tail stirred the grass behind her, and she kept her burnt golden gaze on the cat. Who was she to think herself so above the others? She saw no breeding, no strength nor specifically intelligent-traits that often expressed themselves in manner; simply how the cat held itself. The way it watched others, the way it spoke. This cat had nothing that would make her worthy of the position in her eyes.

Jaystar tilted her head, the jay feathers in her fur under her ear moving as well. She didn't seem angry but curious, her icy gaze moved back to Savannah seeing she was the polite one out of the two. "I see that, I'm not going to have you hurt in any kind of way if that is what you are thinking." She meowed to reassure the she-cat seeing she was as tall as adderstrike before turning to Molly. "Starclan brought us here, in their will, we stay here and help another." She motioned with her muzzle to the dens behind her, able to hear kits planning in the nursey. Apprentice's helping the elders and the medicine cat treating to the wounded. "I welcome you both to stay here for tonight," She moved her gaze back to savannah with a smile, "Adderstrike will bring you both some prey, please do rest. Also if you have any wounds, please visit the medicine cat." Jaystar pointed with her tail towards the medicine den before she turned away and smirked at the tall warrior knowing she was messing with him since he had been glancing at the shecat every so offen, she may have been leader but she loved to tease old friends or even the kits. "If you need anything don't be afriad to ask Adderstrike or Me." She added in before going to the nursey to visit the kits.
