It was strange, this feeling inside her, and she relished in it. She smiled, a grin almost ear to ear as she strode alongside Lous, and she felt strong, agile, and ready for another win. They walked passed those who were eager to see a fighter, and she paid no heed to the words being spat at her master, Lous already had words falling from her tongue to them. She was proud to be Lous' fighter, proud to be a fighter, a companion and friend, one in the same. They were so similar, only divided by species.
She was placed into the pit, and she stretched, tongue lulling from her mouth only for a moment, and she tasted the air. It tasted of promise. She looked to her opponent, ears falling back, fur bristling, and she let out a low snarl.

The splotched and spattered fighter smoothly strolled into the ring as he wielded a swagger that was as slick as ice. His intensity, J-Dub was certain, was one that the compound couldn't handle. The wings of his nostrils flared as he inhaled deeply, drinking in the atmosphere and its intoxicating vibe. J-Dub was fresh onto the scene and this was the beginning of a hell of a ride. A wry grin tugged at the corner of his maw as he stood there, eyes narrowing toward those of his opponent. He didn't need help owning the limelight--already he knew that he'd be stunting, going wild and become the life of this club.
He was ready to rock and roll, holding all of the tricks and bound to pull all of the stops Yet, aside from the thuggin' gangster he was, he couldn't help but stir up the ring.
A wolf whistle drew out from his maw as he eyed the female from top to bottom. "Daaaaaaayum," he drawled. His large stature was unmistakable and his build was rugged, honed by iron as well as the streets themselves. With an appearance was that of rich, warm earthen hues drizzled with chocolate, J-Dub was confident and had his sets on something fine.
"What’s a fine thang like yo' doin’ 'ere. Ya' lost gorgeous? I'll take ya to Wonderlan'."
Oh hell yeah he would.
J-Dub emphasized his offer as he gave a sly wag of his eyebrows and added a complimentary wink in, just for kicks.

When she initially saw him, she was awe struck, and her bright eyes appeared, almost dazed for a moment, His face, his fur, those markings. She wanted to gawk at them, not fight, not dirty them. She looked to Lous for a brief moment from the corner of her eye, and she could see Lous was worried of Aea's fascination as well. No, she thought, she had to stay focused, regardless of his…kind words.
His tone of voice...no! Focus, stay focused.
As it was time, she smiled, and took off towards him. He was large, a little larger than her at least, but she was fast, least in her eyes. She wanted to use her speed to try to get in, make an attack and get out. As she leapt for him, only his reaction would deem whether or not it would be a clean hit.

A rumbling chuckle mused from out of his chest as he flicked his tail behind him. His right forepaw rose upwards and slicked his tapered mess of fur atop his head and brushed off his shoulder--he gave a slight shrugged as he whisked the swag from off of his shoulder and into the air as if there wasn't enough of his thuggin' essence saturating the ring. His ocher orbs drew away from the female momentarily before they slowly crept back towards her.
J-Dub was one of those individuals who could be somewhat of a hard read—dealing with that bear-of-a-beast often was compared to having to endure a grueling round of Russian Roulette; he was a loaded son of a gun. If anyone was to pull the trigger it was uncertain what the consequences would be. But, on the other hand, there was a side of him that few even knew existed, something beneath that grizzly, rough around the edges, exterior had yet to be excavated.
As the starting bell solaced, J-Dub blew his opponent a kiss before he lunged forward into the heat of the battle. She was quick, tricky with her quick footing, but likewise he had his own stops. He dipped low, striking at her legs, and sought to throw her for a loop.

He was unlike anything she would have, suspected. Yes, that was the right word. Not only was it his voice, but his look. Those stripes, that blown kiss… if they were not fighting, if they were not in the pit, she would ask if she was allowed to touch his side, perhaps his fare, so she might know if any delicate ridges followed the stripes along his body. What was she doing?! She shook herself, feeling his blow against her and she fell and coughed, gritting her teeth, clenching her jaw. That one hurt. She looked at him, bright eyed and wondered where he was from, why she hadn't seen him while wandering, what made him like a rock?
He was almost like an immoveable object.
But she could not be stopped, nor beat down, not yet. She pushed herself to stand and got close to him, wanting to ram into him and try to get behind him and grab the scruff of his neck and hold on. At least there he wouldn't be able to do damage, right?

J-Dub studied her. Although there was a stroke of curiosity which only aroused him. But his attention was being drawn into their brawl--but the rugged brute wasn't alarmed. Not in the slightest. He was a level headed individual and often seemed to be optimistic when it came to any so called ‘rough patch’ or sticky situation. In the case where there were sparse threads of optimism to weave his way out of anything unfavorable, there always was brute force. But when faced with a lady, a gent, baller or thug, had to show respect. Granted, it was inevitable that there would be remarks and retorts freely extended to compliment the feminine physique but a lady was to be honored. She was a sacred relic, so to speak.
There was a familiar scent that seemed to linger around her but what it was exactly was difficult to pinpoint. She was unknown, certainly a mystery, yet he had yet to generally weigh in on what side she was to fall under: A potential lover, friend, or a foe who had yet to be shown a good time and converted into that which was J-Dubism.
The wanderings of his mind had left him vulnerable---it was only a split second before he felt the impact of her collision. His body jarred slightly and the male struggled to retain his footing. He stumbled slightly and tumbled down. Yet as he toppled, he wasn't going down alone.
His body suddenly thrust into her legs, hoping to bring her down onto his level.

His demeanor, his color, the shades of fur. It was almost as if a kaleidoscope was going off before her eyes. She wished to just stop and stare at his eyes, look into them and find who he was, make a connection besides their bodies in the ring, so that she might gain a greater understanding than just relying on the exterior alone.
All of these things ran through her mind as she tumbled with him, on him, and her face was in his face, her eyes widened and she rolled off quickly and pulled away, but then, a thought struck her.
Would it work? She had to try at least.
Flicking her tail, letting it sway behind her, she began to sway her body back and forth as if she was listening to Lous play her a song on the small flute like object Lous held dear to her heart.
She swayed, felt a pang of tension in her muscles, and watched him, watched for his reaction as she began getting close. An onlooker would think her stumbling, loosing control, but Lous watched with interest, and new what he friend, her fighter was up to. As she got close, she nearly touched him, and then, when there noses nearly met as she almost swayed to the ground, her back legs thrust her forward, aiming her head at his chest.
Perhaps she could take his breath away.

Curiously, he eyed her; watching her movement with a perked interest. His paws seemed to slide against the slick concrete, walking as if there was no gravity to restrain him or dictate what was possible. Hell, J-Dub was a smooth son of a gun and a slick soul---whoever said a thug couldn't bust a move would have a fang bust through their skull without so much as a hesitation. He rocked to and fro, head bobbing up and down. But he was going to run this show and take the reigns.
Well, that was before his opponent slammed her head into his chest. His breath escaped from out of his maw with a gasp. His abdomen tightened as his jowls clenched something fierce. An uncomfortable snarl rippled across his maw, fangs bared slightly.
"I ain’ dat tigh’ wid’ patience but I ain' dat' easy to ova'throw, gurl," he wheezed.
Suddenly, he latched his maw around her neck and held her by the back of her collar. He threw his weight sideways and attempted to hurl her along with him if only to strip her feet from off the ground and get her reacquainted with the lonely floor underfoot.

It seemed to have worked. Perhaps her movements intoxicated his eyes, his sense as he seemed to do to hers. Visuals, she kept seeing fine lines and an array of colors and lines intersecting in the most glorious ways. It was strange to think this one, with the unique dialect, the unique tongue, could have such a thing in his presence. He had confidence too, and strength, but that wasn't all he had in her eyes..
She felt her head connect with his chest and she smirked when she heard the outward breath of air escape his lungs, but as quickly as she had changed the tide like a maelstrom upon the sea, he was quick to react.
Aea was shifted and slid against the floor, her belly nearly touching the ground and she looked up at him, almost dumbfounded, but her smirk quickly returned.
"Eager, are we?" she asked playfully, and before she heard any words come from his mouth, she darted for him again, intent on trying to tackle him.

It was more or less a distraction but, to J-Dub, it was damn worth it. The twist and turns of her movement were hardly enough to throw him off---he watched her intently as she undulated and whipped about without so much as a struggle to find her footing. He was intrigued. A wry grin curled along his maw.
"Eager? When it comes to a brawl I'll straigh' up stunt but 'dis? If I didn' know better I'd say yo' checkin' out the goods. But it's a'ight--jus' drink it in, gurl, drink it in."
He slunk forward onto his forepaws, leaping forward. J-Dub zig-zagged and suddenly propelled towards her---rather, his motion was more springing forward with his paws looking to wrap around her into a vice-grip of sorts. Perhaps if he could just pin her down he'd be able to put all the right moves in all the right places. The thought was good, the idea was even more promising if not sent a-flutter by a slew of testosterone.

As she seemingly leapt for him, and he her, Aea outstretched her arms as well but his body slammed into hers and they rolled again, cheers erupting around them. Aea tumbled with him, the striped, splotched male with the seemingly wicked toned tongue, and struggled to get free. Her back was beginning to ache as the tumbled, and when she saw an outlet of escape, she wriggled her body free of his death-grip and stumbled to the side.
She huffed, breath heaving from her chest and she looked to him, grinning.
Oh, he was a sly one.
Lous called something to her, but Aea couldn't hear. She needed to pin this boy, and show him what for, even if it meant putting everything in, one last try, one last moment where he might succumb to the power she felt inside.
She lunged for him, without warning, without noise, intent on grabbing hold of his neck for as long as possible.

The collision between the two fighters created an audible clash to echo throughout the confines of the compound. As they descended downward onto the relentless cement, J-Dub attempted to hold her down but her rather lithe, feminine figure slipped out from beneath his grasp. A somewhat disappointed huff exhaled from his nostrils with the essence of a sigh. Damn, he would have to perhaps have to arrange a one on one with her after the fight. There was something about this female fighter which was perking his interests---who was this chick? He wanted a piece of her or all of her if he could get his way.
Eying her, J-Dub launched himself towards her to meet her midair once more. He sought to bring the closing finish to the match and, perhaps, to leave her with a lasting impression.

Her lunge was to no avail for the power he still had within his own body well out weighed what was still left in her. His body slammed into hers and she went rollings, her legs hitting the ground and she winced, coughing as her chest collided with the earth. She trembled from the collision, and the bell tolled.
There was no cheer in particular to either mokai, but a roaring from everyone.
They had...tied?
Aea forced herself to stand and saw that Lous was already celebrating the power Aea had shown.
But her body hurt, had she gone too far?
"I hope you didn't go easy on me,"she said softly, in between her teeth. She closed her eyes and winced a little, but laughed softly, "Guess I don't know my own strength," she knew she'd have to learn to harness it.
"I've never seen-urg, you before," she said in between steps, "but perhaps, outside the ring, I'm Aea," it was a good fight, but now she needed rest.
She felt it was well deserved.

The impact was jarring and J-Dub struggled to find his footing as he tumbled and skidded off toward the wall of the ring. Dust and debris clung to his fur, bound by perspiration. Before another strategy, a reaction to take advantage of her position could be concocted the finishing bell gave a shrill cry. The match was over. A relaxed sigh escaped from out of his maw while his posture loosened and shook away the tension strung by the swell of adrenaline.
His keen eyes watched as the female approached him. J-Dub gave a slight smirk. "Go easy on you? Girl, yo' a sell out but I ain' buyin'," he winked.
Damn, she was beat up pretty bad. As she struggled for a step, J-Dub pressed his body against hers to help alleviate the discomfort that seemed to stem from her injury. The fighter cocked a brow upwards, somewhat coyly.
"I'm fresh on the scene," he commented, flicking his tail behind him. "But I've seen yo' 'round. Y'got that unfo'gettable swagga'." He had seen her once or twice with her handler and yet even after the second time he had been struck by something powerful. There was this essence J-Dub sensed that needed to be unleashed---the wild was calling her yet would she answer?
"Aea, gotta hell of a ring to it. Names J-Dub--if yo' eva' need anythin' jus' come lookin'. By the way you've been starin' at me, I think ya' know what ta' look fo'."

As he helped her stand, Aea gave a look to Lous who stood a little back, a grin on her face with arms crossed. Lous made a gesture with her hand as to walk on with J-Dub, and Aea sighed and held in a laugh. Thank Lous, you aren't helping, she thought.
"I'll know how to find you, and thank you," she said with a nudge of her head against his, and pulled away once she found her footing nad made her way over to Lous. She looked over her shoulder back at J-Dub and smiled.
This wasn't going to be the last time she saw him, that much she knew.
