After the intial shock of getting into the Hunter's facility, Dakota had taken well to his new surroundings. In fact, he down right enjoyed the place so much that he was almost glad it took the feeling of dyings and getting latched with a female weapon to be here.
Why was he so happy you ask? Because their was just so many darn girls here, and of course, they we're above average in their looks. Like almost model looking. It wasn't like he had never seen girl's before either but, being part of a Native american tribe, one always on the move, he never really got to sit in one place and just talk to them. Always flirting, never not flirting.
Regardless of that though, It seemed his weapon had a mind of her own, and most boastful opinion of the girl's he looked at.
Chama's voice was a low female purr almost, she thummed against his thigh as he continued his thinking of girls.
"Chama." Dakota grinned as he laid a hand on her sheath and smiled, "Don't worry, No girl will ever take me away from you okay? Partners for life." He said, coaxing the pheonix into submission. His path though, walking around the facility led him to the Death hunters training grounds, and straight in his vision was a tall gorgeous beauty. "Dang. Huntress's are sure fine here." He snorted as he studied her. "Yo! Babe! You got great form!"

Minerva hadn't been doing much else other than looking, standing in the center of the training grounds with her head tilted upward. Fighting was a skill she had only just picked up during her trials, not at all the tactic she would use first if given the choice; so even as she stood with sickles in hand and some experience under her belt--Minerva couldn't help but feel completely and utterly lost.
Blythe inquired, interrupting Minnie's thoughts. The woman pursed her lips and lifted both of the golden weapons into the air, crossing their blades before sighing. "Yeah, definitely. I've got a lot to prove..."
Agreement swelled from her weapon. And in response Minerva smiled, dropping her arms to her sides again only to tighten her hold on each of the sickles handles. She couldn't help but feel a considerable amount of luck in being chosen by Blythe, their growing bond easily made in such a short amount of time. Minerva would even venture to say that their inevitable friendship was ancient, and that without knowing it she had always been quite fond of her partner. The chemistry just worked for them. Minnie had never trusted anyone/thing so easily in all of her life, aside from her mother...It was good to know that someone had your back, even if that someone was made of metal and....magic? Yeah...
The thought was touching, Blythe's voice dimming to a gentle whisper as a warmth enveloped Minnie completely. ...
But like all precious moments, it wouldn't last long; her startled turn and furrowed brow perhaps not the most welcoming of expressions to catch. It didn't take Blythe long to become rigid in her hands, the distrust, the uncertainty, and the jealousy spinning around in her head in a frenzy. Minerva had to calm her partner silently if only to have a moment to think clearly, while she simultaneously worked on her own study of the approaching trainee.
He had yelled something, but the only words that actually stuck were "Nice form!", and considering she hadn't been doing anything at all--the women wriggled slightly in discomfort. He was relatively tall compared to her own height, and looked to be kind enough. Maybe another new comer like herself? That would be nice...
Trying to force Blythe to dematerialize was impossible, groans rasping within her mind with every step the guy took--increasing in strength as the distance vanished completely. Stop, please! You're giving me a headache. Minerva whined, and for a moment she seemed to ease up.
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know there were others on the grounds!" She started, settling on taking both sickles and shoving the handles under an arm carefully. With her free hand, she extended it out to the stranger--choosing to ignore his initial comment. "Minerva Di Paola. I've seen you around, just haven't gotten the chance to introduce myself. And you are...?"
Blythe hissed...Hazel eyes rolling up before slowly falling back onto the man.

He continued to ignore the steady rise of heat from his weapon as he came closer to the other trainee. He remembered her slightly from the Classroom from then they had all awakened and been led too. He could tell though that she was practicing her moves...or something like that and in all honesty, couldn't blame her.
He had a right mind to do the same so that he could get a better grasp on the power his weapon offered before shrugging, it could wait. Chama wasn't going anywhere without him after all.
She warned him with another rise in heat on his thigh.
"I was just heading out to explore when I saw you. It's hard not to be attracted to honey after all." He grinned at her before looking at her face clearly, was she in pain? "You alright there darling? You've got a expression that say's your in a lot of pain."
He watched as quickly as the pain come and go before staring down at the hand she offered, taking it and tilting it so the knuckles we're faced upwards before laying a gentle kiss on it. "A pleasure Minerva." He smiled coyly up at her.
His weapon nearly blazed on his thigh, a furious fire swept up that had him groaning.
"Chama, stop with the attitude." he looked apologetically at Minerva, "Sorry, My name is Dakota Rainstar. My weapon seem's to have an issue with me and talking to any pretty ladies...or well with anyone."
She flared on his leg again which had him grimacing.
"Didn't think having a partner like weapons would be so... interesting." He said for lack of better terms.

I was just heading out to explore when I saw you. It's hard not to be attracted to--
The death hunter released a half cough, half giggle, shaking out her curls while Blythe emitted a very powerful dose of hatred--so much of it that Minnie was forced to bite her lip to keep from frowning. She hadn't planned on falling in love with the first man she saw--hell, she had seen plenty of them in New York and had yet to find a suitable partner. Minnie would have asked the man to repeat himself if he hadn't continued his thought, figuring it best just to move along with whatever topic surfaced.
"Yeah I'm fine, just suffering from irritation." She bent her extended elbow with intentions to rub her head, but was stiff with surprise when the man reached out with a kiss. "Oh!" Minerva muttered with a slanted grin, amused indefinitely. So he was the gentleman type? A sight for sore eyes!
Actually...Minnie thought, tilting her head as Dakota continued, watching his weapon light up in flames with a look that read oh, I totally know that feeling.
I don't know what his intentions are! Blythe was not pleased to hear this.
"Don't apologize. It seems we've both been given quite the handfuls." It was just like Minerva to skip over flirtatious remarks, even without Blythe's nagging.
"Or rather, chosen." The grumbling in the back of her head was not at ALL hushed, but Blythe didn't bother to speak directly to the hunter. Not yet anyway. Placing the free hand on her hip and jutting it out slightly, Minnie sighed. "They are pretty cool though." And by they, she most definitely meant BOTH of their weapons. Leaning slightly to peer at where the flames had lifted, the woman smiled and lifted a brow.
Blythe...wasn't pleased to hear this, either.

Dakota's head cocked at her giggle before wondering what her and her weapon talked about. If it wasn't weird enough that hunter's looked like they talk to themselves, imagine when they laughed with themselves or got angry. It would take some getting use to in the new Hunter society but, he laughed. He was one to talk after all, he laughed and talked with Chama all the time.
He let go of her hand after the kiss and cocked his head again. "Irritation? Headache? I know some great pressure point spots to rub." He showed her on his head, rubbing the corners of his forehead.
All in good time, Chama. All in good time.
"Defenitly didn't expect a nagging female on my side, though then again, Don't know what I would do without Chama." He patted his sheath before looking at her weapons, "Oh? Yours is a handful too? What's yours do? Is it a girl or boy?" He asked curiously. He knew every weapon was different. "If you don't think it's too personal or anything. I don't think Chama would-"
He grinned as she flared up again.
"I think that might be a better word. Chosen. Uh..." Dakota watched as the flame died down, realizing that Chama must've heard Minerva's compliment.

"Yeaaah." Minnie started, taking a hand to her head before dropping it in defeat. It was no use..."This kind of headache isn't going anywhere anytime soon." Dakota would probably come to understand her meaning.
There was a mixture of confusion, sadness, and a bubbling rage as Minerva's words soaked in. Blythe couldn't exactly comprehend how one minute they were getting along and the next minute she was being a bother to the death trainee...
Oh wait, yes she could.
The woman's face filled with a smile in reply to her weapon's prompting, slipping the sickles out from under her arm and into each of her hands. "But like yourself, I don't know how I ever lived without her." Having sworn she heard what was a sniffle in the far reaches of her mind, Minerva continued.
"Blythe is her name, and she is also a female."
"She is definitely a piece of work."
"She's also helpful."
"Kind of cocky at times."
"And most definitely a handful ninety-nine percent of the time."
<...>
"...But she's my girl." Her head had been throbbing up until then, Blythe's mutterings low and relatively benign. This gave Minerva a moment to process information and to speak without interruption; gesturing with a nod of her head towards Chama.
"So...What about your girl, hmm?" The green haze on each of her weapons began to flicker wildly in disapproval.
Please Blythe. What makes you think I'm not doing this for the both of us?
The woman stayed focus on Dakota, trying hard not to roll her eyes.

Dakota eye'd the girl, she did rub her head a lot, it had to be because of her weapon. He felt kinda of bad for her, seeing as Chama didn't really blow up his brain with messages or talking....he only wondered about Minerva's weapon.
She piped in, picking up on his thoughts. What the hell was a ghoulfriend?
Oh gotcha....
He wasn't sure what the weapon of Minerva's was saying again but he felt like his ears should be burning...or something. Maybe the weapon didn't like him?
He sighed, "Yep, don't think I could live without her now." He listened as she described her weapon and grinned. Blythe sounded well...a lot like Chama.
He smiled as he looked at the scythes before removing the buckle on the sheath for Chama before pulling her out, holding her out with both his hands for Minerva to see.
"Well...Chama is...." He tried to think of a good word.
"Very passionate. Must be because she said she use to be a Phoenix."
She flared in his hands again.
"Beyond that, she's actually pretty nice, except when she talks about other females, whether they be human or the halloween creatures." He laughed.
"She's kinda of like a mother hen though. Always knows how to encourage and support me." He moved to put her away. "So I can usually always count on her. And even when I upset her, she forgives me." He laughed again. "Yeah I don't think I'll be able to live the same life again. She's too much apart of me."

"Oh?" Minerva's gaze followed Dakota's hands as they worked the strap holding his weapon, staring at Chama while he detailed her inner-being. Every pause he took prompted a question in the woman's mind, expressing her interests in what conversations the two shared to her Blythe...who simply did not give a damn. It was fascinating for the hunter, though! Their partners were so very similar, especially when it came to being overly possessive...She couldn't help but release a giggle, an understanding smile warming her face.
"They are so alike!" The trainee repeated the thought playfully. Blythe flared up again at her hands, an unkindly thought stuttered in a whisper...mostly because Blythe was far too enraged to process loud, complete sentences. Minerva continued through the hushed tones, leaning forward ever so slightly to inspect the gem...thing that was fixed to Chama. It looked sort of like an eye? Perhaps the eye of a phoenix? That might be too morbid of a conclusion to make, though... "That's an interesting looking piece! I've ever seen anything like it!" Reclining back into her original position, if only to avoid a possible burn to her nose if Chama didn't like how close she got, Minerva then continued. "I have to say, she is quite lovely and I'm sure she's also quite dangerous out on the battlegrounds." A sharp, all knowing grin passed over her face then, feeling the heat rise from Blythe but knowing just how it would make the sickles feel if that comment had been directed to her.
Again, the voice which usually had so much to say was lost in her own anger. The silence was more than welcomed, and as Minerva continued to ogle the blade in Dakota's hands, she flicked her attention only momentarily to search the expression he held when looking at his own weapon.
It was...just as passionate as he claimed the blade to be. "You speak so kindly of Chama...like a lover might of his woman?" A pause, Minnie hoped this wouldn't insult him or Chama. "It's actually quite nice. I can see how close you two have become in only this short amount of time. It'll do you both a lot of good out there...fighting whatever we end up fighting." Drawing her weapon closer to her chest, Minerva breathed against them in a sigh. The tension within her own mind eased as a thought, so quiet, was passed from the woman to the blades in secrecy.

Dakota grinned at Minerva's agreement before nodding his head as well. "They do sound a lot alike. I wonder though if most weapons we're overprotective of their hunters?" He thought about the other trainee's he knew and well...no, nobody but Minerva knew as much as she did about his weapon.
Chama flared as the girl got close to the gem, seeming to pulse with a light inside it as he heard Chama's crude comments. Dakota shifted so that the fire that flared up wouldn't touch Minerva.
<.......................>
"Yeah, she does come in handy. Though oddly enough, we're not really meant to be a fighting unit together. It just works out that she has that added bonus of being a fire weapon." He rubbed his chin in though at Chama's sudden quietness and then Minerva's comments of the battlefield. "Your weapon though, It seems like it would be absolutely deadly on the field. I don't think I've ever really seen such a shape."
He flushed though at Minerva's next comments and looked away. "That's ridiculous, Chama isn't my lover." He continued to flush before sighing, "But...you might be right. I do....like her very much."
<..../sniff/...Dakotaaaaaaaaaaaa I loveeeeeeeee youuuuuu.......>
Augh. Dakota's face grimaced as Chama wailed in his hear.Shia Bean Oh god please forgive me for taking forever OTL

"I bet a lot of the weapons are! There are probably still some waiting in the cove!" Blythe concurred with a long groan. "But I bet we have the most possessive ones around!"
The sickles rasped, still pressed against the woman's bosoms. Minnie nodded, perhaps to a number of things that had been said, before simply staring at Dakota's blade. "You know, sickles were used so often back in the day to cut down crops and all of that.. I never gave them a second thought!" Taking the two into her hands properly once again, the woman twisted each until their curves could be seen clearly. "But I bet they could do a lot of damage with the right technique." Which.. Minnie had yet to master.
She then shook out her curling locks and furrowed her brows defensively. "I really didn't mean to offend you or anything! I just meant.. yeah, exactly. You just seem to like her a lot. It's not a bad thing at all! We'll always have some strange, supernatural, extra strong connection to our girls. I mean, they're practically inside of us now so.."
Blythe purred, whispering how nice it was to be the first and only thing inside of the woman. Oddly enough the feeling was mutual.

"I'd hate to think of how lonely those weapons are in the cove...." Dakota oddly looked at Chama, since he had bonded with her, he wondered if the other weapons felt the same. "But yeah, most defenitly the most possessive little things around aren't they....."
Chama remained silent as he spoke, causing the boy to concern himself with the weapon for only a second as he listened to Minerva. "No s**t?" He flushed before smiling, "Excuse my language haha. But Damn, To think something so simple would be considered more dangerous." He looked at Blythe with a little more respect. The curved handles glinted in the light giving them a almost eerie dangerous feel.
"Hmm?" He was busy thinking of just how to see them cutting crops or such before looking up at her. Orange eyes wide before smiling, "I'm not really offended, just more of...It's not like I think of her like that."
Chama bluntly stated it, which had Dakota's face shutting down. He had become a hunter after all, for one purpose. And it wasn't for the ladies.
He thought of the fire demon that had attacked him and his hand went uncounsicly to the bandage around his arm, fingering the material as he thought of the deep burn scar he had there.
"The way you make it sound....Feels a little perverted." He grinned, winking at her.

The trainee let out as subtle of a sigh as was possible, spreading her lips into a small grin. "That's exactly what I thought when I first saw sickles in my hands instead of, oh I don't know, a knife or sword or something.. I half expected to walk out of there with that tablet to be honest.. " Something of a snort came from the woman, her attempt at making a joke just as subtle as her relief, fingers drumming idly on Blythe's handles as the weapon itself murmured things to its master. "And I know I don't think of Blythe in that way either, but it's hard not to interpret the fondness we have for our weapons in 'that way'." To this the murmuring stopped, and a silence that reverberated discontent dwelled within her mind. But Dakota's sudden change in demeanor prompted Minerva to tilt her head slightly and to push whatever complaint Blythe had to farthest point of her thoughts, pursing her lips as a question threatened to slip through them. What did Chama say? Or, what did I say? It was best to leave the conversations had between him and his weapon alone, as he didn't seem too interested in sharing.
"In any case, it sure feels like I'm dating her. She's always wanting my attention, incredibly jealous, possessive, as we've said before.. " Minnie laughed, dropping the subject quickly.
<...>
It was only then that the trainee noticed the bandages around his hand and the move he made to rub at it. She laughed to acknowledge his final comment, but what the woman was focused on now was the injury. "Oh man, what happened?" Gesturing with a flick of her wrist, sending Blythe his way ever so slightly, Minnie took a step forward to inspect it further.
Shush. I'm just curious! "When did it happen?"
