this would leave a trail for you to follow your route back out and in of the maze, for when you have to go out and recrewt, or return from null.

moranokii xD Brilliant idea. Although since /invite is fixed, recrewting won't be a problem now >w< /invite still broke for me cry and doesn't help with getting back from null. also when you invite a replacement, even if you can /invite, you'll have to lead them in. Seems not too bad now? but how about when your 30 rooms in....

I can't even remember my way in when I'm 4 rooms in xD Mora wants bread crumbs nows xD

And would be much easier with a traiil to follow. me wants now too!

You can actually sort of do this already. Buddies seem to stay behind when traveling trough caves.

DrQuint You can actually sort of do this already. Buddies seem to stay behind when traveling trough caves. I think that may be a problem for people like me with crappy computers. At a certain point I have to reboot, or my computer freezes up. I think the more info it has to stare the sooner this happens.

At a certain point I have to reboot, or my computer freezes up. I think the more info it has to stare the sooner this happens. The info you will be storing is the buddies' animations, on RAM. And you'd do anyways by merely walking around some idiot summoning all their stuff. Doubt your computer will crash because of something that's not even on screen, ie: Being ignored. You're not storing their location. Their location is handled by the server. Even your character's location is, that's why there's rubberbanding (and why there isn't people wall glitching on purpose). And I don't see why, if that happened, would a breadcrumb be any better than a buddy.

Oh yeah, another thing. If the breadcrumbs don't get the "telepipe" treatment (becoming a temporary spot you can warp to from the null), then I'd like to ask that they're completely invisible to anyone outside your crew.

I had a dream last night where they released abilities for buddies. One of these abilities? Pee. XD It marked trails. I thought "awesome!" and then woke up.
But bread crumbs works, yes, if no one has buddies to mark the trail.
