The night was calm, too calm even and it had Chromite feeling uneasy. None of her standard energy victims were about. The "red light" district had been equally quiet and bitterly disappointing. There was just no way all of those people had become so concerned with their community of crime that the safety of prostitutes and low-bit drug dealers came before making money. Was there?

Either way, Chromite hadn't even started her night of energy gathering and already she knew it was just going to be one of those nights. So she'd moved herself from the low income and dangerous part of town and was now trolling the rooftops of the shopping district. One could always count on there being last-minute birthday or anniversary shoppers being out, and with their panic and love for their giftee filling their heads the energy the gave off was sometimes the most potent.

The only downside to this area was the over abundance of senshi. One was bound to show up at some point and put an end to her night's work. Chromite was convinced the damn magical girls had some sort of fun radar that directed them to the prime locations to stop anything good from happening.

Andromeda did not have such radar. Well, no. She did. Yay senshi phone. But she wasn't paying attention to it as she hummed and danced down the street to a song that had been stuck in her head for a few days. She was so distracted by it she didn't even notice the presence of anyone else. "Dancing through life, swaying and sweeping, and always keeping coooooo-oo-ooool~." She sang cheerfully, doing what she felt was a beautiful pirouette that would make a ballerina jealous. In reality she awkwardly turned on the ball of her foot and stumbled the landing, skipping down the street again.

Oh yes, she was using a lot of energy up, huh?

This wasn't so bad! Though Andromeda really wished she didn't have to do all of her patrols at night. Patrolling at night was proving to be even more dangerous each time she did it; she'd rather start in the day time and work her way back to nighttime, or maybe alternate between day patrols and night patrols. There were senshi that did that, right? Though maybe it was because they were older...darn.

The voice filtered down the street, the sound bouncing off of the various store windows, and Chromite smiled privately in anticipation. Of course, she would have chosen a much better song to sing if it had been her dancing down the pavement but that wasn't really of any kind of importance. Her muscles tensing as she prepared to jump what was hopefully a civilian in the late night, her smile fell and she stifled a groan as what she saw instead was not what she'd hoped.

The tell-tale costume spelled only disaster for the lieutenant, and her fists clenched at the pristine white dress twirled around the badly done spin. Rolling her eyes the girl debated turning and finding some where else to skulk for energy or watching the senshi for a bit longer and making her choice then... But there was that little nagging voice in the back of her head that reminded her of the last two senshi she'd randomly met late at night. Of how both had gotten the best of her and nearly killed her. Of how it was her turn to cause some pain, and there would be nothing 'nearly' about this time. It was simply kill or be killed.

So with a quiet click of her flats pushing against the edge of the rooftop, she stepped off of her perch and landed a few feet away from the oblivious sailor scout. "Great." She didn't call it, but said it loud enough that it was clear she wasn't talking to herself. "Now I'm going to have that damn song stuck in my head for the rest of the week."

She didn't hear the lieutenant jump down, nor did she actually realize she felt her presence until it suddenly hit her and she stopped dancing. Her back was to the girl she heard talking unhappily, her mouth set in a hard line and her eyes wide. How did she not notice her?! Stupid, stupid, stupid! That was so amateur! She was supposed to be learning how to be a great senshi and protect the world! No! The universe! How could she let herself drop her guard so easily a lieutenant was able to sneak up on her like this?! Ugh, she was so ashamed of herself. "It's a good song from an equally good musical..." Andromeda retorted, frowning as he turned around to see who was approaching her and surprising her. A girl. She looked her own age!

But she was definitely from the negaverse. Noooooo!

"What do you want?" Andromeda asked carefully, eyes narrowed as she took a few cautious steps back away from the girl.

From her stance on the roof Chromite hadn't really been able to tell the age of the senshi she was about to attack, nor at the time did she care. From the point of being only a few feet away and at eye level though, she still didn't care. One eye brow going up at the sailor scout, and hands finding themselves crossing over her chest, she smirked. "Really. That's the best response you can come up with kiddo?" Actually, when she thought about what few fights she'd actually been in with a senshi none of them had really been that witty. Maybe being slow was a trait within their ranks. Or maybe it was that they'd been better at not getting chatty and instead kicking her a**... But that wasn't really something she wanted to dwell on.

Shrugging, she took a step closer and dropping a hand to her side the lieutenant summoned her weapon. "I was looking for some fun," she answered. "But you came and ruined that chance."
