Bringing some boxes with him, Seth soon arrived at Aila's quarters. Swiping his executive keycard through the slot, the door obediently unlocked and allowed him access.

As soon as he entered he could tell the room belonged to a girl. Granted a very serious and realistic girl, but one nonetheless. There were books, a wardrobe of clothes, a dresser with a plant being lighted by a sun lamp, a jewelry box, and various other belongings.

As he stepped in, Seth set down the boxes. Quietly he went about the room, surveying everything that was there. He felt a bit odd going through someone's personal belongings like this, but someone had to do it and it might as well be him.

He briefly surveyed the books, peeked in the jewelry box, studied the rapier at her bedside, and finally moved over to the nightstand with the journal, notebooks, papers, and some occupied pokeballs. What caught his eye though was a small notepad marked "Will." Picking it up, Seth opened and skimmed through it. His brows rose, marveling at the fact that someone so young had actually thought to make a will. Aila clearly took this seriously too, even if it seemed evident that she never thought it would be needed.

The man sighed. This will would have to be honored.

Mau didn't know what to do with himself while he waited. He wasn't allowed in the infirmary at the moment to see Nyx, and the waiting room walls were boring. He'd wandered the halls for a bit before spotting Seth as he vanished into a room with boxes. The door was left open, and there was a heavy hesitation as Mau approached. He knew who's room this was. It was Aila's. Had Seth been assigned the task of taking care of her belongings?

Mau raised his hand, held it for a moment, then knocked on the door frame. Why? Why was he doing this? Because he needed closure. And perhaps because he didn't want a younger rocket to have to do this. "Sir." Mau greeted softly after the knock. "... May I be of assistance?"

The knock at the door quickly got his attention, it might have even startled him a bit as his head snapped to look in the direction of the door. Seeing the agent standing there, Seth frowned thoughtfully as he considered the offer.

"If you want. I don't mind." He wouldn't force anyone to help him with this, but he wouldn't deny the offer of help either.

Seth then looked back at the list in Aila's will. It was pretty simple, really. Tucking the notepad into his pocket, he set about to start working. "Did you know her?" he asked as he moved to the books on the desk. They were organized in three piles and placed in seperate boxes. The psychology books for Isadora, the acting books for the infiltration department, and the others for the library if nobody claimed them.

"I did. Maybe not as well as some, but perhaps better then many." He said as he entered the room. It wasn't his intent to be cryptic. But he only met with Aila a couple dozen times. Though they seemed to have had both meaningful and frivilous conversations. He looked at the plant and smiled. "She really was a girl of many interests." He looked as Seth began stacking the books, and so he started on the DVDs. "You were... the one who recruited her, weren't you?" He asked with reservation. If Seth was, this could easily be seen as his fault, even though Mau knew better. One stack of DVDs, and he looked at the screen plays. Many interests indeed.

Looking at the variety of subjects that the books came in, Seth would have to agree with that sentiment. "It would seem so," he said in a neutral tone that hinted at the fact that he was trying to mask his true thoughts and feelings.

Mau's face was a familiar one, but Seth didn't know him very well. Of course, that was common with him since he had trained many recruits, and worked with countless others. He saw many faces in passing, on missions, or otherwise, and he was no extrovert.

Once the books were put away, he decided to go for the clothing, which she seemed rather neutral about. Pulling open one of the dresser drawers, he stared in silent shock for a moment as he came across some undergarments. Not that he'd never seen women's underwear before but it was still.. a bit awkward.

"She was a good kid." He said fondly. Given he was older then many of the rockets, 'kid' was an affectionate term. He was surprised at the range of subjects she seemed to be interested in. There were several loose papers and printouts, news paper clippings and printouts. It did offer some insight to Aila, and would be of great help to whoever was going to work on her memorial. The box of movies and papers was filled neatly and Mau looked up to see Seth pause when he opened her dresser.

He stood, taking the last few things off her desk aside from the laptop. He glanced at Seth and peeked in the drawer. Oh. Oh yes. That was part of taking care of her effects too, wasn't it? Somehow it felt impolite to stare. Mau looked away and cleared his throat noticing the laptop was on. He tapped the touchpad to wake it up. "Working, even before a raid. Sir, would you like me to put the laptop into sleep mode so the last of her reports can be reviewed?"

Ugh. He didn't want to deal with this, but he did anyway. Scooping out the delicates from the drawer, he held them with arms outstretched as if they would bite him. Walking across the room with them, he dropped a bra on the way. The undergarments were then deposited in a box, where they would remain on the bottom, so he could cover them up and not look at them anymore.

Mau's question was a welcome distraction though. "Hm?" Seth then meandered over to the computer to glance over the materials on the screen. "Yeah, I will go through the computer later and extract any useful files." His tone one of utmost seriousness despite the slightly embarrassing situation with Aila's underwear.

"Yes sir." Mau made sure the computer was asleep and not off before he closed it up. It was soon ready to be taken as well, and he laid it carefully aside. He couldn't see it going in a box, seeing as it would probably be looked at first. "Ah... You um. Dropped one, Seth." Moving from the desk, he found himself at her bedside. Standard issued sheets, there didn't appear to be anything under the bed. No boxes of personal items. Just the sword leaning against the foot of the bed. And her nightstand. He figured that would be the next place to start.

"How well did you know her?"

Seth grunted in annoyance when Mau pointed out that he had dropped one of the... delicates, instead of picking it up himself. That meant he had to pick it up, and he did. Stooping down, he picked up the bra by a strap that was held between his thumb and index finger. He then tossed it into the box as if it would give him cooties. Had it been one of Nadja's bras, this wouldn't have bothered him, but it had belonged to a seventeen year-old girl and it just seemed a bit wrong to be handling her underwear.

He then went back to the dresser and started pulling out more clothes. Tops, bottoms, uniforms, and so forth. He went back and forth between the dresser and the box, carefully placing the clothes inside and making sure they well covered the underwear.

Mau's question though, gave him pause. "Well enough. I was the one who recruited her, and I'd been following her career since she came." Granted, they had not spoken often since she came into Team Rocket, but there still was a connection there. She was one of the few who didn't outright dislike him and genuinely respected him. They had always been busy doing their own things, especially him, and now he regretted not taking more time to speak to the girl.

"She became quite strong." Mau nodded, watching Seth pick up the bra. He had to admit, it was greatly amusing watching Seth handle the undergarments. It made this a little more tolerable. Settling beside the night stand, he began sorting through the items. Lots of journals and notepads. She must have kept a record of everything. He didn't dare look in any of them, even if he was curious. At the moment, it was highly inappropriate. So they were stacked neatly so he could move them all at once to a box. Then he came across what appeared to be letters. They looked personal. An admirer perhaps? But it made him pause.

"...Aila has a brother." He had no idea they had been corresponding as he started stacking the letters. But he remembered from their talk those long months ago that she had wanted to kill him. Still. "Will we try and send word to him?"

"Yes she did," Seth agreed thoughtfully in reply to Mau. "She met and exceeded my expectations." But it had been cut far too short.

If one knew Seth, they would know that he typically didn't speak openly to people, especially those he didn't know well. However, times changed and people changed, plus this was not a typical situation. Perhaps the Executive needed someone to talk to since his usual companion was not present.

"I know, she requested a letter be sent in her will." Seth reached into his pocket and pulled out the notepad before handing it to Mau. "Her courier bird speaks only French. I will leave the matter to her partner." It his mind, it was the most appropriate way to handle it.

Once the dresser was cleared out, Seth next handled the items on top of it. The sun lamp was turned off and packed away, with the plant set aside for Inigo. Taking the jewelry box, he opened it up to view the gems that were inside. It seemed a waste to toss them, and Aila had not named anyone to take them. Perhaps Nadja would be interested in them.

Mau paused to take the notepad. "She made a will..." He wasn't totally surprised. Aila was a realist, after all. He looked it over. It was quite like her. Leaving as little as possible up to chance. He handed it back to Seth. "Aila was prepared for a lot of things." But he doubted she was really ready to have had her life ended so soon.

"Her partner speaks french, doesn't he?" Mau recalled meeting the boy in a dress, and Aila told him he was her partner. "It seems fitting then." He glanced about. Most of her things were packed now. The last of her journals were on a box. It would just be a matter of transporting them out to be dealt with according to her will. So what happened now?

"It was a noble quality," Seth agreed. You could never be too prepared, although one had to wonder if she really did take things a bit too seriously sometimes. But that was part about what he liked about her. She was professional, did her best, and got the job done. She had been a reliable Rocket. It was an unfortunate loss.

"Yes, they were both native to the same country." It certainly made sense to Seth, plus the fact that he didn't want to do it himself.

The bed was stripped, the closet cleaned out, and pretty much everything was now in boxes. The things that had been marked in Aila's will were placed in their own box.

"I will make sure her will is honored," he told Mau. That was what he planned to do anyway.

"I'm... glad." He said, knowing Seth intended to honor her will. He ran his hand through his hair. He couldn't help but feel bad for Aila's partner. Not only had he now lost his partner, and possibly friend- he wasn't sure how close they were, having only seen the boy at the party. But now he had to inform her surviving family of her death. The poor kid.

"If there's anything more I can do to help..." He left a vague gesture and left it at that. He wasn't really sure what good he'd be right now. He was fidgety, he was angry, he was upset. But he was still a Rocket.
