The female smiled she had been snuggled there in the dark temple with her love for some time now. She finally stood stretching a little she took the map in her mouth. "We shall go now beloved." she sad her voice a bit muffled from the map in her mouth. She began walking back to the main area they had come from the only place that gave enough light in a mostly secure area where there wasn't much danger.
She put the man in the middle of the sun ray she took off the clip and folded it out and began looking at the map trying to plot a way out. She looked to her mate curiously. "We will have to go searching. We do not know if some of these paths will work or not." she said rolling the paper back up and taking it in her mouth. She rubbed against him on her way back to the path. She moved slowly her shoulder to the far wall following it since it was pitch black and she couldn't see.

That was what he was afraid of- searching unknown 'dangerous' pathways that would make his headace. "Ok. But we will take it slow. And-" He got quite and a bit upset. "If we have to do something dangerous I'm going to have to ask you to do it- until I can figure out whats pleaging me...or at least how to control it. I'm sorry to ask you this." He nuzzled her and sighed to long and hard. He really didn't want to put her in any danger. He was the man. He was the one that wanted to take the bullet for his mate, and he would feel so terrible if anything happened to her on his watch.
"Maybe the priests will know whats wrong with me. We should ask them as soon as we return."

Hathor looked to her mate she was growing more and more worried about him. She really needed to get him out of the temple maybe something was making him sick in here? She stopped and thought for awhile before changing course. "This way beloved. We think this way it best. The Priests be this way."
She stopped a moment and looked to her mate he was really in pain. She leaned into him slight snuggling into him before nipping his ear. "We will make it our beloved." She promised before once again walking off down the hall. She grunted as she tripped on some rocks. She panicked a little thinking something was going to fall down onto them but when nothing moved she let out a sigh and began walking once more.
Everything seemed to be fine until she stepped on something furry that make a large squeak and dashed out from under her paw she froze still and leaned into her mate. "We...we felt something move!" She said breathing heavily.

He didn't even have to think about it before he was attuned to the mouses sense of danger and the paw coming at him. "Don't worry it was just a mouse...and he was more afraid of you then you are afraid of him." He didn't even have to see the mouse in the corner to see that he still thought he was in danger. "Probably best we give him a rest- he's as scared as we were with the snakes." And though he couldn't sense fear with his powers he could smell it normally with his nose, and the little creature seamed to be soaked in his own sweat.
"And just think of it this way- next mouse you step on you can eat." No wonder the poor thing in the corner still thought his was in danger. He too could sense Zorua's hunger. He thought about it and moved forward away from the mouse. He soon couldn't feel the mouse anyplace- apparently HE was the one causing the danger. How odd.

Hathor listen to the male curiously what was going on with him. Since when did he get so smart sounding? She shrugged it off as she kept walking. "We shall hunt once we get out of here. We fear feeding you what ever is taken a home to these temples." she warned him as she moved to the next set of temples. Finally they had reached the Priests. She looked to her mate before smiling a little she could finally make out bits of his face the priests temple letting in bits of light here and there. That was a good sign maybe they could find a way out.
"Beloved you you think it might be something in your head?" She asked curiously she knew of the powers some could hold after all how was her mother blind as a bat still able to watch cubs?
"We should visit mother. Maybe she knows something about your pain." She said give a small nod. "We should hurry Beloved. We wish to go home we are getting tired and would rather much like to be home with Beloved." She said nudging him softly hoping to encourage him to help her find a way out.

He nodded. "Yes it's only in my head. That's the weird thing. And it's only when I sense danger...or now sense somebody else's danger." He looked up at the old priest temple. He'd been with his mother to her temple a million times as a cub- and this didn't look anything close to where she worshiped. "Right now I'm getting a dull feeling in my head that if we go in there we will be in danger. But since we are still here we are safe and my head dosen't hurt." He paused and looked at her in the low light.
"It sounds positively mad dosen't it?" He thought only gods had powers. So the thought that he could have some sort of power was completely out of his head.

She couldn't help it as she looked at him with a slight blank expression. "We believe you are going completely mad." She said very convincingly but it wasn't long til a paw came up and had to hold her stomach as she hunched over into a small fit of laughter. "Oh Beloved." She managed to speak between fits. "We do not think that." She said shaking her head and looking to the male. "We think the gods have sent you to us Beloved. Given you a very special gift that most only get from being a child of the gods." She said as she finally stopped laughing.
She rubbed her cheek against his shoulder before nipping his ear once more. "We will prove it beloved." She said as she dashed off ahead she sniffed around and tried to find the door that smelt to her the most dangerous it was really hard when she had no powers of her own. now normally this would have made her jealous but somehow she was perfectly content in knowing she was protected by one that could 'see'.
finally sh found a door that looked pretty ominous if had flame symbols all over the door. She stepped forward and pushed the door open and walked inside. She frowned when nothing seemed to happen.

"A gift?" He pondered for a moment. "From gods?" Well that sure made him feel better inside anyway. At least he was right in that it was a good thing and not some kind of brain slug trying to consume his grey matter. He then watched her walk from door to door. His mind was calm until she nosed the door with the flame on it open. The like before a terrible pain raged threw his mind- worse then the snakes, worse then the mouse.
"Don't-t g-g-g-o in t-t-t-here." He dropped down to the floor like a ton of bricks had been dropped onto his body. "W-worse then s-s-snakes." The whole floor was littered in trap panels and booby traps. Obviously the gas for the flame traps still worked considerably well considering how much his brain was giving him the run around.
"Lets go see the priests...forget that room. Please..." He whined.

she smiled softly as she put her back to the door. She waiting a moment before frowning he really was in pain. She moved quickly to his side. She licked the bridge of his nose softly. "Come now beloved we shall go." She said softly trying to sooth him.
"We are ready to leave Beloved don't slow us down we don't wish to break our back carry you out." She teased the male nuzzling his neck softly. "We are right here beside you Beloved we can do this together and with your help we can make it out all in one piece." She said smiling a little before she began to move leading forward. She didn't hear him yell out when he next step went down a bit farther then it should she had stepped on one of the traps. She froze and looked around as a loud rumbling was heard.
"Beloved!?" She yelled out loudly quite scared.

Fire gushed up around the pair singing the the tip of Zorua's tail. This must have been a trap set by the gods for no mere mortal could control fire like this- and keep it running much past the temples destruction. He cringed and curled himself into a ball trying to avoid the bursts of flame that were shooting about in all directions. Oh god they were so dead. Both his head and his heart were racing now; and like the flames it seamed there would be no way to stop them.
