Lunath was searching for Zetath's in a very--over excited manner. Of course, nearly everything the green did was in said manner. Her rider had a gift for Zetath's! They had to get to Zetath's quickly! Zetath, I am looking for you! I will find you, and then we will play! Mine is looking for Yours! Where are you and yours, Zetath? I have looked and looked! You were not in the water.

"Lunath, stop running on ahead! We'll find them better together. ...Shards, Lunath! When did you get so fast?" T'rel had finally caught up to his green. He was breathing rather noisily from running so hard; his face was red from the effort. "Did you ask Zetath where Z'iv is? That'll help." They'd already been looking for a half a candlemark. Lunath had insisted on looking in the strangest places. Up in trees, in the kitchens (and while the kitchens weren't such an usual place, the others had been).

I have asked Zetath to tell us where His is, Mine! We will find them! And then you will give Zetath's the surprise!

<...Ugh. Mine. Wake. Lunath calls, and will not leave me alone until I answer. Her rider wants you for something.>

"Mmmmmmmh..." Z'iv stretched luxuriantly and sat up with a yawn. That had been a great sun-soaked nap, but he was happy to wake up from it for T'rel. "Okay blackheart," he grinned at the dragon beside him, "best give her a hollar then, hadn't you?"

Left with no choice, the black dragon grumbled deep in his chest and reached out for Lunath's mind. he communicated curtly not bothering to add and pleasantries under his own steam, nor even relenting to do so at prodding from his rider.

"Honestly," Z'iv chuckled with a shake of his head as he stood up and stretched again, "you could at least be civil to other dragons!"

"You're so cruel!"

<You need to put your britches on.>

"Oh yea."

Thank you! Lunath was very pleased. She had not yet thought of looking around the northern lake. I will tell Mine, and we will come! We will play! The green seemed happily oblivious to the black's curtness. Mine, they are at the nortern lake, the norternmost tip. We will play!

T'rel grinned and shook his head. "Well then," he said. "We better hurry. Before either of them fall asleep." His smile widened when Lunath quickly reassured him that if either of them happened to fall asleep, she would wake them. After all, wasn't Hers telling her constantly how loud she was? As the greenrider led his dragon towards the lake, he found that she had raced ahead of him again.

Lunath! What did I say about running off?

Mine! We will race! Come! Your Lunath is much faster than you!

While that had not been the desired response, T'rel ran after his green. He was out of breath when they finally arrived at Z'iv's sunning place. "Hey Z'iv!" T'rel called, waving. The green had bounded over to Z'iv in order to greet him. She gave a croon of delight, nosing him.

Zetath gave a growl of displeasure and sat up, flapping his wings to loosen the sleep stiffened muscles. he snipped at his rider,

Z'iv replied as he pulled on a loose pair of white cotton trousers, Always wanted to be moving, working, striving. It was no good for an atypical not yet fully grown, and heck even once he was grown he'd be more fragile than typically coloured dragons.

Z'iv watched the black go with a slight sigh but didn't try to stop him; a bit of a swim would do no harm. Shaking his head he turned around to greet Lunath as she bounded towards him, a grin spreading across his face as she nudged him. "Well hello there beautiful!" he exclaimed, rubbing her eyeridges and planting a kiss on her nose, "how are you today then, other than beautiful? Oh and look, y'brought T'rel! You look a bit puffed out there sweetheart, want a drink? There's a waterskin on top of my shirt just there."

Lunath gave a croon of absolute delight. Zetath's had said she was beautiful! She nuzzled him once more before turning to look for Zetath. Where was the black? She wanted to play! Mine, tell Zetath's that I am good! And ask where Zetath is. I wish to play with him! And tell Zetath's that he is very nice! I like him.

"Lunath wanted to run the entire way here," T'rel explained, sitting down on the shore. He took the water skin from on top of Z'iv's shirt and thanked him silently as he took a drink. "I've been looking for you," he added with a smile. "I found something near the lake shore the other day, and I thought you might like it. I've got one too." He paused and grinned. "I haven't got it here. It's waiting for you in the weyrling barracks--by the hearth. It'll have to stay there, I think, until it hatches."

Zetath, where are you? Play with me!

Zetath snapped at the green, His rider was poking him, annoying and persistent as a bug. <...Fine. I am in the lake. You may play chase if you wish.>

“Hearth? Hatches?” Z’iv crooned, a lazy grin spreading across his face and a delighted sparkle entering his amber eyes. “T’rel, if you mean what I think you mean you’re my new favourite person; Rorn who gave me an extra sausage last night has officially been bumped down a spot!” Exactly what the blackrider meant by ‘an extra sausage’ was not quite clear thanks to his slightly salacious tones, but then again Z’iv was one of those people who made scratching an itch mildly erotic as a matter of course.

Go away? Did Zetath want to play hide n seek? Lunath was all for it! The green was absolutely oblivious to the fact that the black might have been implying that he did not wish to play. Then the black seemed to change his mind, suggesting they could play chase--didn't he want to play hide n seek? Oh well! Lunath was happy as long as they played something. I will not go away. I will play chase with you and we will have fun! She made her way to the lake. Will we play swim-chase, Zetath?

"I do mean what you think I mean," T'rel said with a smile. He had hoped Z'iv would be happy. "I found the eggs earlier this sevenday." He paused and frowned slightly, eyebrow raised. "An extra sausage?" he asked for clarification.
