Dreams and Fears: His dreams were to marry the love of his life, whom he happened to have an arranged marriage to, and inherit his family fortune and steer the family away from their dark ties. His fears were his beloved twin sister would die because of her dangerous occupation, or be sent to the dreaded no man's land. Now his dreams are to live and his fears are dying.
Biography: He was born into a wealthy family with a dark background. He was born to become the family's "protector", in other words an assassin. But Richard proved to be a coward as his father called him, he could not kill or hurt another human being. What makes it worse is his little twin sister took his place instead. He wasn't sure what was more horrifying: his darling little sister would be killing people and putting her life on the line only to be shunned by everyone... or that she actually enjoyed the job she did. Melrose was born with a cold demeanor, the exact opposite of her twin. When their family was convicted of treason, Melrose would certainly be sent to a horrible place when she was found out. So because it was his fault in the first place she was in that position, he took the blame for her crimes.
