Ben was probably the nicest guy Harrison had met since he woke up in a gas mask. Friendly, answered their questions. Even though Harrison couldn't think of any appropriate ones at the time. That and he still got gun shy when it came to anything vaguely resembling a superior officer. It was a shame he was in a different division.
B0nez was still seasick, but Harrison hoped some exercise would help. The fresh polish and rub down hadn't cleared it up, but they'd both relaxed enough to get a few hours of sleep before the 7AM training.
Harrison was less tired than wired from the Haunted House fiasco.
At least the mustache had finally come off.

"I wish you could talk to me, Circe. Having one-sided conversations with you just makes me look crazy...heh! Crazy. I'm not crazy." Said the woman sitting to one side of the training field talking to a floating blue eye. The eye bobbed and hovered, unblinking and flashing with light every now and then. Candace figured Circe was trying to communicate. "It's so nice to have you again, though. I've been missing you terribly." She sighed.
Candace had yet to notice she had company. Again.

Harrison noticed someone else bumming around the field.
"Morning, Candace," he said, eyeing the eyeball. "...You on minipet duty?" He grinned. "Did you get to meet Killer yet?"

Candace perked up when she finally heard another voice until she realized it wasn't female. Circe was female, right? Caelius had referred to his weapon as 'her' when saying Candace could take his scythe out for exercise. "Hey there, Thirteen." She was grinning too much, and her eyes were too wide. This was not Candace's usual expression if at all.
"Minipet? Oh, no. This is Circe..Caelius' scythe~." Candace answered as casually as one would such a question. "I haven't met Killer yet, no."

"What, really?" Harrison looked at it. "I thought they just turned into watches and necklaces."
And blugghugh - flashdrives, B0nez managed.
"And flashdrives," Harrison added. "Did it get lost? Caelius is probably still resting up."

"Apparently not. Circe becomes a floating eye. I told Caelius he was the true Harry Potter...he didn't seem to take too kindly to that." Candace chuckled and pet at the floating eye much like one would a small bird they were taking care of. She cooed to Circe until Harrison asked about her getting lost, grinning up at the man and shaking her head. "Nope. Caelius told me to take her out for some exercise." Suddenly Candace paused, a look being given to Circe and then to Harrison. Ohhhhhh. More exercise.
She stood, bringing the floating eye up with her. "Jordan stopped playing with her though...would you like to play with Circe, Thirteen~?"

Candace barked with too much laughter at Harrison's question, grinning at him and shaking her head. "No, no. That's just silly. With a fight! A spar...whatever~. Wanna?" Circe had already summoned herself at Candace's side, allowing the woman to grab her and hold her up. It wasn't an attack ready position...yet.

"A spar?" Harrison asked, "With somebody else's weapon? Can you do that?"
Can she do that?
B0nez gave him the mental equivalent of a shrug.
"Uh, sure. Okay. I don't see why not." Harrison gripped B0nez, and after a glowing milisecond of magical-girl-type transformation, he had two blades in his hands.
"He's still feeling a little queasy. But we need to practice blocking anyhow." Harrison held one blade high, and reserved the shorter blade, keeping it lower, in what amounted to a pretty weak stance.
"Okay. Go for it."

"Apparently! I just fought Jordan, and Ariane, and Before. Should be fine. She summons herself, I don't need to do anything." So clearly that meant she could spar with Circe. It was fun to do! Every strike gave her a rush of adrenaline that made her feel so good. She wanted more and more of it.
Candace made a sound of glee as Harrison summoned B0nez, shrugging a bt as his warning. "Yeah sure whatever here I come~!" She laughed, saying all of that in one quick breath and wasting no time in raising the scythe and swinging it down. The blade caught on B0nez's own blades and she blinked, hopping back away from him. Damn! He blocked her!
HP: 40
Damage done: 2 - 1 for Harrison's defense = 1

Harrison blocked part of the blow, but the blade still clipped him.
Okay. Parry. Deflect scythe, get close, then...he tried a follow-through.

Oh! Good strike back! Candace was laughing as the blade of his sword cut her side, dancing and twirling with Circe in both hands like an excited child. "This is so FUN~!" Unlike Harrison Candace was using no strategy, no technique, only pure power-driven force.
She turned on the ball of one foot, then the other, habitually lifting her leg as she spun again like she would with Atropos while extending Circe out to swing the blade at Harrison again.

He took that one right through the neck. "Ow! s**t!" he said, more out of reflex than actual pain.
"Yeah, kinda unnerving though. Nice swing. ...Let's try that one again."
Stay on top of the defense, don't give her such big openings. The scythe was midrange, she needed room to swing it. B0nez wasn't long distance, but he could do damage if Harrison got in close enough. Last time he'd felt his arm stutter under the blow, and this time kept both blades ready, closer to his body, to block, hoping he'd have a better control. He didn't.

Ugh, he was doing this again? Candace pouted. "Thirteen," She hadn't called him Harrison. Not once. Odd...she usually only used Thirteen every once in awhile, but now she was only calling him Thirteen. "If you keep just trying to block," Candace swung the scythe at him like a baseball bat. "I'm going to get annoye. And bored. It's no fun if you don't fight back. The hit connected, slashing a nice cut against the man's side.

That thing can really, ugh, pack a punch, B0nez said.
Yeah, I know, it was killing golems in one swing. But you're holding out okay. Help me out with the blocking.
I don't feel so good...
Like...shield down kind of not good?
Like hungover. Hey, I wouldn't...say no to another polish after we're done here.
"Okay," Harrison grinned back at Candace, "Try this," he said, coming in with another close stab.
